The Candy Man is the ultimate host of this hidden paradise! I didn't have the luxury of trying the food, but his drinks are first rate!

What a beautiful place! They were all so nice . Candyman is terrific and Tisa came in to visit with everyone and take pictures. The shrimp was amazing. The snorkeling was great. Reef & fish everywhere. There are strong tides but Candyman will tell you where to swim and not swim. It’s easy & perfectly safe if you listen & follow instructions. Don’t make him have to rescue you!! That’s not his job, but just a curtesy... if he notices your missing! I spent the whole day talking with him & Tisa. He had a lot of interesting stories to tell about the area, swimming, and history. Tisa is such a friendly & welcoming person also. That area of land has belonged in her family for generations. When you go ask about their history. Such sweet people. It’s a quaint & serene place. Quite beach. Be respectful, your in their home. But they want you leave with an amazing experience!

What a fantastic beach once you go past Pago Pago harbour. The owners are full of knowledge and information about the local food and culture. If you are in American Samoa for a short trip, you should definitely stop by Tisa's. Every Wednesday, they have a Samoan style dinner, but you must book ahead of schedule. If you want, you can go earlier (if you arrange it with them) in the day, and help them pick produce from their farm.

It's been years since I've been to Tisa's but The memory still stays with me. Fantastic environment you can relax and become one with nature. It's a true relaxed island getaway.

Great food using local ingredients and local natural methods (leaves for plates, finger food) to minimize waste. The views are inspiring, and their commitment to caring for the earth even more so. A model for all.

No better place to take the family for a swim and delicious meal. Candyman makes the best piña coladas on island

It is closer to home and the best beach/bar on the east side. The owners are great people very culture and family oriented. They are always there to keep you company and welcome. Love the local island style spread up in here.

Want to feel like you are with family??? Wonderful place on the back of the island. Very personal service and the food is incredible. Call ahead so they know to prepare a traditional dinner. Views are great and it right on the water. First time I was here was 1994 and last was in the spring of 2017.

THIS is what “tiki bars” aspire to be. This is the Real thing. The menu consists of what was fresh caught that day. Beautiful location, very out-of-the-way and intimate. Friendly staff, great beach. Love this place.

One of the best bars I have been too. The owner was super nice and even opened up his doors to us after he was closed so we could have a beer.

We went for lunch, but only one dish. Shrimp. Lots of mozzies also. Other than that, it is ok.

Absolutely fabulous day visit at Tisa's Barefoot Bar! Amazing service from Tisa and Candy! Snorkeling in lovely warm waters. Delicious lunch! Super friendly hosts with a heap of very interesting cultural history. Highly recommended for an exclusive, enjoyable visit.

It's a great place to have a meal and tropical drink and to converse with the owners and locals. Went there several times while visiting on the island.

11/10 would recommend. Only had one of their infamous pina colada but definitely worth a stop. Beautiful spot, lovely people, with dogs that aren't aggressive at all. If you don't have a car, on the way back just stand on the other side of the road and wait for a taxi or bus to flag down.

Beautiful! Candyman mixed up delicious drinks. My wallet cried, the pina colada were yummy but $14 each
