Absolutely beautiful park, both camping and swimming. The bathrooms in the campground were kept very clean, and everyone was very pleasant. A bear did walk through our site one night, but no damage was done. The water wasn't too cold which made it even better. The tubing was about 8 minutes from start to middle, but from middle to end there wasn't much current, so we didn't complete the run but once. I wouldn't suggest going without a tube because some spots are really rocky.

This place is gorgeous and great fun for all ages. You can tube, snorkel or swim! Just be very careful of very slippery rocks. Sometimes you don’t realize there is algae growing on them, below the surface and it is slicker than ice. You can also get ticks from the trails, plus biting flies. Keep in mind to put Deepwoods off on when you’re not in the water. When you’re in the water, keep in mind that stagnant areas with algae growth may have tiny leeches. Don’t let this scare you. I’ve gone to many, many Florida springs and have only experienced this twice. I would give it a full five stars if it wasn't for the overcrowding during the summer and holidays. There are so many people there at those times, it really takes away from the natural feel. People tend to blast their stereos and get rowdy. However, if you can come on a weekday, off-season, it's a tropical paradise! Remember to rent your tubes before entering - the park doesn't rent them out. There's a dive bar/restaurant right around the corner that rents them for very reasonable.

I loved Kelly Park. We went on a Sunday morning. It was pretty busy. I recommend getting there early, because they do fill up fast. They have a capacity they reach & then they don’t take anymore guests. We went around 8am. It was beautiful. The water is crystal clear all the way around. It’s a natural lazy river. There is a big swimming area as well. The water level was to our knees the whole way around. I recommend riding in a tube. At the very beginning of the river there’s a deeper spot to jump in. Be careful. There are big rocks the river currents will push you right in to them if you are not in a tube. There are so many places to just sit and relax. I am definitely bringing my family here when they come to visit. Oh also, it was only $5 a car (5-6 people per car).

Excellent adventure FOR ALL AGES! Things to know… -$3 to park with two people -must rent tubes outside of park @ Tube King($7/tube) -water appears to be below 4 ft throughout -you should absolutely take pictures (Bring a waterproof case or buy one for $15 at the concession stand) -follow walking path past the concession stand for spring entrance -I suggest spending at least 4 hours here. The spring only takes 20 minutes to float down but you will want to just sit or swim in this beautiful and cool water! Bring some blankets or chairs, drinks, a grill, food and have yourself an amazing day!! *I did not see any alligators or snakes. *The park opens at 8 am and during the summer, the car line to get in starts at 5 am. If you want to avoid this, I would recommend coming here on a school day and you won’t even need to worry about waiting on line early.

Wow!! Did the clear kayaking tour. Amazing! Beautiful scenery. Besides birds and small fish, didn't see much wildlife so don't worry about alligators. Our guide said most likely we wouldn't see any. Is def a must if you're close to this area!

This park is beautiful! Probably the best park I have seen so far in Florida. The water at the spring is so clear! You can easily spend a whole day here. I definitely want to try camping here one day. There's also hiking trails which is nice.

Absolutely amazing! I had tried to previously make it here in the past, but was unsuccessful. It was sold out by the time we arrived(10am weekday) This time we made sure to be there really early. We were there on Monday by 7 AM. I learned- you can bring your own inflatable or rent them from Rock springs Bar & grill. Must be smaller than 5 feet.. water is cool. But perfect for this summer. Water is faster at the beginning of the spring, watch the rocks. It was a great experience, my kids enjoyed it. Very fun. There’s grills, a playground, picnic tables, Bring chairs, or a sheet for the floor.. we saw a deer run across the parking lot when we drove in.

I arrived an hour before the park was open, and cars were already waiting. I heard during the summertime. This place is hard to get into. That is why I decided to come during springtime, but unfortunately, it was frigid that day. The water was pretty warm, so for the most part, I had to stay in the water to keep warm, but I highly recommend this park. It is pretty affordable to come into, and you can bring your food and stay the whole day. I especially like the area that acts like a lazy river, which was no more than 3-4 feet of water. I really enjoy tubing all over this area. Note: before you head in the direction of the park, there is a spot to purchase the tube before entering the park. It’s tough to see, but it’s right when you make that turn into the area toward the park. I also suggest just buying it off of Amazon and making sure you can put air into it when you arrive at the park. Trust me. You would want to get some tubes.

This spring is so beautiful! First stop on our vacation and so glad we did. Bring your own tube or rent one down the street. Also bring some goggles to look around under the water. You walk to the beginning of the spring and can float all the way to the open swimming area then past that, down to the end. Once you reach the end, you can walk back to the swimming area or walk further back to the beginning. It's a beautiful walk through the woods on paths.

Great swimming hole to chill during the summer heat. Bring floats, rent a tube or just swim down the river. Tube can be rented just before you enter the park $7 a day Picnic area, bathroom, Cafe on site. The guy that rents the tubes also operates the cafe. Front gate takes cash or plastic. Cafe only takes cash. No ATM on property. The park only allows 280 cars in then closes the gates. Best get there by 6-630am to get a place in line. Local police officer will drive down the road and give you a pull ticket. You CAN NOT enter the park without a pull ticket. You will be turned away at the gate. After the first 280 cars. The next 50 will get a pull ticket to enter at 1pm. NO TICKET NO ENTRY!!!!

You have to go here!! It’s absolutely amazing. Rent a tube from Last Chance Tubes for $7 each. You pass it on the right before you get to the park. Make sure you go early because they will close the park when it reaches a certainty capacity. Enjoy!!

Park as close to the pavilion as you can behind the pavilion is a trail to the right that goes into the woods. Follow the trail right to the top of the springs. The water will be cold at 1st, but get in your tube and you'll get used to it real quick. Let the Springs take you down and when you get to where everyone is in the water swimming keep going.. you will see a sign that says do not enter but that is talking about entering the woods up top! You can keep floating down and it's a little ways down! I missed it the first trip! There is a little bridge that will tell you when it's time to stop with a rope going across. You can walk up over the bridge and back up to the top which only takes about about 7 minutes.

My family has frequent Ted this park for several generations. Although it’s popularity has grown the state has really done an incredible job at keeping the park in its natural state. Plenty of parking but during the summer months I’d advise you get to the park early to assure admittance. You can rent large pavilion for events There are large, clean, handicap accessible restrooms located throughout Kelly Park. The park does have a concession stand, call ahead because it is open seasonally. Make sure you bring your own inner tube or stop at Rock Springs Bar and Grill to rent your tube. The river is manageable without a tube but is best enjoyed floating on a tube.

one of the most beautiful places in florida!! the water is a bright and clear blue and the aquifer is refreshing and clean. at first it can seem a little bit cold, but I promise you will get used to it within a mibute or two. there’s also lots of space on the grads to spread out a towel or a picnic blanket and have lunch. i love swimming here, but the best thing of all is to float along on a floaty and just go around in circles. it’s a relaxing and fun way to spend the weekend.

The water is absolutely beautiful, but it's also very packed. I went on a school day (Wednesday), and at about 930am, it was packed out. When I left around 1pm, there were probably 200+ people just down by the swimming area. At the headstart of the spring, a lady was sitting in the water, totally naked, taking pictures. young kids were all around, also a lot of cursing... so yes water is beautiful, but there needs to be more rules and people just need to remember kids are around we can make someone's day better or worse let's all try to be mindful of others ears and eyes!

You have to get there really early to get a voucher to get in when they first open, otherwise, you will be turned away. They will give out a number of vouchers to be able to come back for 1pm entry, which is what we experienced. The rangers or security at entry was rude which is why I took off a star. But once you get in, the park is really nice and you just find people having a good time. They have areas and pavilions to rent out if you want to have an event or party there. There is a walk to the starting point of the springs, but it wasn’t too long of a walk. They don’t let you tie a rope to keep your floats together which was weird, but the water flow wasn’t aggressive and it isn’t a long ride to the end. The water is beautiful and it’s nice to just sit back and relax. I recommend to have water shoes. Have fun! This place is great for family fun.

We had a great time floating the springs. We'll be back. Concessions were closed today (on Friday). We rented tubes at the little bar on the corner just before you turn for the park. Lots of wildlife. Saw a deer right by the river, lots of turtles, lots of squirrels, lots of fish, and a mostly topless Instafluencer.

Favorite Park!! During the summer and especially on weekends you must be in line WAY early (6 am) to receive a ticket from the deputies. When the “tickets” are gone they then pass out 50 vouchers (for 1 pm entry) to the people already in line. After that the park is sold out and closed for the day! There is no online ticketing system and you can not claim a ticket for another vehicle. Once you enter the park you cannot leave to go get your other group members and then try to re-enter. If you must leave for any reason, YOU must stop by the gatehouse and obtain a re-entry pass from park staff. There is NO ALCOHOL allowed in the park. If you are caught by a deputy, you can be arrested on the spot. NO ALCOHOL, NO GLASS CONTAINERS, NO PETS, NO KAYAKS OR CANOES in Kelly park!! If you are driving a great distance, please plan ahead and arrive early because there are no exceptions. It cost 3-5 dollars to get in depending on how many people are in your group. Camping reservations are online only.

My favorite spring I have been to so far! Absolutely gorgeous clear water. I loved how they had lifeguards on the lazy river. The tube rental was outside of the entrance of the park and I thought it would have been better to have them in walking distance. If you rent them you have to put them on the roof of your car. We stayed all day! Never got bored

The First Time I Came to Visit... the park was full. But the Second time I tried I was able to get in... it was an overcast day. Wow... what a Beautiful Place! I walked the Yellow Trail... can't wait to come back when I have more time to explore the other trails. Beautiful Native Florida... I recommend a visit if you are in the area but go early!

I spent my birthday here this year. It was a bit crowded, on a Wednesday, but it was still a pleasant experience. The river was my favorite part, and the most beautiful! It was fun. I image that when the park is less crowded it’s extremely peaceful too. If you’re curious to check out the trails, then I’d recommend visiting on a cooler day, because you’ll get hot, fast! The water was refreshing though. I was also surprised and happy that the park has a vegan/vegetarian option on their food menu. I got the veggie burger with fries. It was decent for park food. Overall Kelly Park is a fun, family spot.

We came here around 9 am, and luckily we had the chance to get in. We rented a black tubes before coming to the park itself. We had an incredible time! There are places to start some barbecue too. Bar is available. Lovely for big family/ friends reunion. Perfect for couples too.

I loved this park. The springs were so peaceful. We went in early November. The park was very well maintained. You can kayak from camp joy right down the road for $3 for 2 people.

We took the kids here for a fun day in the sun. We got there at like 830-9am. We were able to get a picnic table close to the springs which was perfect for us so we could just walk back to them and eat lunch. The water felt great on a hot summer day! We absolutely loved the lazy river. My youngest daughter liked how they had a swimming pool part that had some sand lol. Overall, we had a perfect day!

What a great time! It was a great outdoor activity in a group setting with a guided tour that was still intimate. Our guide, Jeremy, was knowledgeable about the area, patient with our group keeping up and even volunteered to help with getting good pics of us! Water was warm and the area was perfect to get that fresh air and a bit of nature that's especially needed these days!

One of my favorite springs in the central Florida area, maybe because I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. The spring run is relatively short but fun for floating, swimming or snorkeling and swimming near the spring head has interesting rock formations to enjoy. Many areas to picnic and just sit and relax I highly recommend.

The campground has nice level sites, the park is clean, and the bathroom/ shower facilities are well maintained. The kids had a lot of fun at the playground. To cap it off, Rock Springs is a little piece of paradise.

I went back in 2014 and it was a blast. I'm use to springs and this one was excellent. Such a beautifully kept spring and what a way to relax. I'm glad my buddies took me for a visit. I grew up with springs in Florida, like Fanning, Manatee, Hart, and Gornto Springs, and this was just as amazing and the restaurants near here were great after a cool swim.

What a beautiful spring!!! The water is crystal clear. There is lots of animals and plants down the river. Definitely bring water shoes, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent.

The best family springs ever, there’s so many relaxing things to do for the whole family. A car of 8 only $5. Remember to bring cash if you want to eat at the concession. Tubs are $9 each but believe me you want one its fun. The pavilions are only $50 to rent. No alcohol allowed they do cooler check. (Good idea ) it’s a family setting. Water is clear! Clean good fun.

If you’re looking for a place to just splash around for a bit, it’s good. It was a long wait to get in (had to get there as they opened if you wanted to get in at all) and then it was kind of underwhelming. The water was pretty but pretty cold. It was super crowded. We personally did not have a great time but I’m glad we checked it out. Definitely would recommend bringing tubes, otherwise there’s not much to do.
