My husband doesn't normally like vegan food but he loved this. Best vegan food I've ever had!! We had the cauliflower tacos, the curbside burger and a side of coconut curry soup. I also got a mocha with their house made cashew macadamia nut milk. SO GOOD!!!! This is our new go-to spot. The patio is awesome too, it is dog friendly

Great place, the food is reasonably priced and tastes fantastic. It is self service and when we went on a Sunday evening, it wasn’t super packed but there were plenty of people. We weren’t very hungry and so ordered one sandwich for the two of us. We tried the Cuban sandwich, and had the potato wedges. The wedges were seasoned very well and the aioli tasted great. The pulled jackfruit in the Cuban sandwich was amazing. We asked for the sandwich to be cut into half and they were happy to accommodate our request. Very reasonable priced, quick service.

The Rev Burger, the Rice & Beans, the coconut curry soup and the beignets —- straight up possibly the best vegan food we have ever had. Incredible! Super creative. Masterful flavors and textures. I wish we lived here so I could eat here more.

The Korean duck tacos are so yummy and on sale on Tuesday which was a nice surprise. They have vegan deserts and I had the vegan cheesecake which was good. Kombucha on tap. Nice friendly workers and a relaxed environment:)

The food was really good, it's all vegan. If you don't ear meat/animal products then you will know the anxiety of eating at a restaurant and worrying your food will be cross-contaminated. I have gone to restaurants where you order a Beyond burger and the cook slaps it in real beef grease, that will not happen here. There is no animal products I'm building, you don't have to scan the ingredients list a 100 times because it is vegan. I loved the Aoli it was amazing!

We've been there twice now - once for breakfast and again for lunch. The breakfast burrito we ordered both visits it was so good, and we would have ordered the Monte Cristo again but it was a daily special (highly recommend ordering if you see it).

First time here and it won’t be the last. Great environment, friendly staff and GREAT food. We started with the guac and chips; guac was delicious! I got the mac and cheese and would honestly get that every time. My gf got the lemongrass tofu tacos and the only critique is there was no lemongrass flavor; it would have been nice balanced out with arugula and pickled veg. I was stoked to have an almond milk stout. Being someone who loves stouts but often can’t have them due to the lactose. Plenty of street parking but the area is easy to bike or arrive by public transit. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I really love how the outdoor area is set up, ver conducive for communal conversion. Last critique but wouldn’t make me give this place less than five stars was the “lack” of management. Meaning, I love that everyone pitches in and helps and you can tell that the majority of the employees help each other and have a great rhythm and flow. But when you have one person asking what they need to help with (especially if they look like a manager to me) that tips me off that the majority of the time they rely on the eager and hard working staff to run themselves. Just kind of off putting especially since everyone else hustled. This must be normal because the patrons were understanding and patient and I appreciate seeing that.

There's a fruit named Jack with a knack for picking up slack in vegan cuisine. It's a fact; flavor does not lack, and it seems kinda wack, but once you try it ya might never go back Nachos Supreme -- Housemade Nacho Cheese, Jackfruit Carnitas, Pickled Onion, Pickled Jalapeno, Lime Leaf Sour Cream, and Cilantro Cuban Sandwich -- Pulled Cuban Jackfruit, Garlic Aioli, Pickled Onions, Tomato, Cilantro All from the renowned Reverie in Minneapolis I was once a skeptic. No way like meat it could seem, that's a vegan dream!... But my doubts have been uprooted, and a new seed has been sown. This food was pl-antastic! WIth my nachos, the Jackfruit tasted almost EXACTLY the same as carnitas, not kidding. The only tie-breaker was the texture of real meat, but even so, it was close. Housemade nacho cheese made me believe in the plant-based future. SO DELICIOUS! My non-vegan adventurous dining companion chose the Cuban with no cured meats of any kind. He was blown away with his savory, hearty, holy-buckets-how-is-this-that-good handheld. Andy said as well that the side of greens was surprisingly delicious. Happy late birthday Andy!! I'm glad we got to meet and try this unique meatless establishment Really high marks for Reverie! I'd go back ve-gain any time ;)

Everything was delicious, but the standout for me is their housemaid sausage patties. Unique and unexpected. Don't sleep on the smoked potatoes, though. High-level food in a cafe setting. If you're in the cities and only have time to eat at one place, make it here. If your vegan or not.

Amazing vegan spot that has a limited menu that provides clear options to choose from! I have been here twice and both times have been quite the food experience! Highly recommend the breakfast burrito, the biscuits & gravy, and the biscuit sandwich. I think the biscuit sandwich is a bit small in terms of portion, while the breakfast burrito had an adequate amount of food. But I also think the prices reflect the quality and the portion, so it's no big deal at all that the sandwich is a bit smaller. The highlight of the burrito is the pickled onions because for the flavors that may be a bit mild, the pickled onions definitely provide a good amount of complementary flavor. The cinnamon roll of unusual size had some date filling which was very interesting because I have never had it that way before. It was a pleasant surprise for me" but I do wish there's more "cream cheese icing because for the relatively unpleasant aspects of the date filling, the icing made up for it without a doubt. Regardless, still really goos and would recommend! I believe someone has posted a photo of what's inside the beignets, and I can attest to the chocolate filling inside! They also have very friendly servers who are very patient and thorough in terms of explanations! And this spot is located at a very vibrant neighborhood so by brunch time on weekends people really come in and hang out with each other in the most wholesome ways!

We visited the first night of our trip, shared the Cuban with wedge fries, a blt salad and the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was good but not great. The blt salad was sooooo yummy would recommend and eat again. The Cuban was more of a Torta but I’m not mad about it. My one complaint is how sticky our table was but other than that I would stop in again!

The best vegan restaurant in Minneapolis. I have tried most of the menu. It is so good! I'm not a fan of Mac&Cheese and nachos, but this is the only place where I love to eat it. I recommend Bloomington Bowl for brunch!

I was a bit disappointed in the food on this visit. I’ll be back, but will shy away from the brussels sprouts, which had a great sauce, but were underdone and the tacos, which had great texture - but the flavors were overpowered by too much heat. I do recommend Reverie overall and especially for dog-loving vegans who want to enjoy a meal or a drink on a tree-shaded patio.

It is a great vegan option! Parking is tough at times but well worth it. I had the hot chocolate with oat milk and it was amazing! The potato wedges with aoli were the best I have had. The grilled kimchi sandwich was on point. I left very full.

A vegan's dream come true!! The hostess was helpful & very friendly. Each dish we ordered was delicious and plated beautifully. Compliments to the chef! I highly recommend the cauliflower tacos and chai tea with house made macademia/cashew milk. I will definitely be returning each time I am in the city.

I decided to check this place out today based off the reviews. On my first attempt I was served these yesterday old dried up breakfast potatoes and these cold eggs that look kids' playdoh! I was highly disappointed and this was not worth the price I paid for. How in the hell is this place getting good reviews serving garbage like this!

Lots of unique and interesting vegan options, some of them I loved while others were just okay. The nacho cheese was the perfect texture and flavor, but I wish the jackfruit meat had a bit more flavor. The bulgogi cauliflower was also great! Brussels sprouts were just okay. The food came out quickly and the restaurant was cute and comfortable.

Wow is all I can say. Nachos were the best I ever had, the flavor of the bulgogi cauliflower was amazing and the frying perfect, and the burger was phenomenal with a great patty and assertive flavors. This instantly became one of our favorite restaurants.

INCREDIBLE food. I am drooling just thinking about it all. My favorite dishes are the TLT and Gouda mac, but everything on the menu is incredible. Support this vegan restaurant! And enjoy the fact that by eating vegan, youre reducing the suffering in the world and helping the environment. #govegan. :)

It was my first time here, expecting it to be a more traditional coffee shop serving the Powderhorn neighborhood community. It turns out they have a full vegan lunch and dinner menus along with a rotating selection of local beer, kombucha, and wine! Their shaded patio is wonderful, perfect on a hot early summer day like today. I will definitely come hungry next time.

This is a great vegan cafe whether you're stopping in to grab a drink or sitting down for some good eats. The staff there were super friendly, informative and helpful. We were welcomed in and they took our order right away letting us know their brunch options. Even after we were sitting down to eat a staff member was making the rounds, cleaning up and offered to take one of our empty plates. The food was so tasty, we ordered a breakfast burrito and a market hash. Honestly, the meal was so great I don't have much to say except you have to try it. We also ordered a delicious cider. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. Highly suggest the outdoor seating if the weather is right because the atmosphere is great and the urban art is very cool.

Delicious! Great atmosphere, very friendly service, amazing food. The only thing I would change is not having to stand in line to order, since they add a 20% service fee and I always associate 20% with receiving table service. Still really enjoy this place tho.

Although I've been a fan of the Reverie truck for awhile, in particular I'd like to review their new brick and mortar restaurant that just opened this past week. Needless to say, I've already been three times! I have had a plant-based diet since I was in High School. I'm 33 now, so suffice to say I have had a LOT of vegan food and the food at Reverie is some of my favorite. The great thing about Reverie is they get flavor so, so right. Their vegan dishes are not masquerading as carnivore fair. Everything from the potato wedges sprinkled with rosemary to the smokey cashew-cheese and rich mushrooms is amazing. Even better, their cashew cheeses and cashew milk are partially so luxurious because they're made in house. No diaya in sight. No processed food. This food is real and really good. Despite the labor and love clearly put into their food an entree is around $12 which is an exceptionally fair price in Minneapolis for fresh food and vegan food. I can not get enough of their vegan nachos (my only meager criticism is I would like more toppings on them), my significant other loves the burger, we had the mac and cheese last night and oh my god it was so delicious. Even their hot sauce is uniquely flavorful but at a heat level that won't put off all Midwesterners. Ha. Meat-eater or no Reverie is a must-try. Since their restaurant is new the hours are still a bit restricted at the moment and they're working out a few kinks, but they are pros at what we're here for --- the food. Service is excellent, atmosphere is inviting.

The food is freat but they automatically add a 15% gratuity on all orders, no matter the amount or people you are with. They run out of food quickly and always advertise they have plenty. It seems as they are afraid of making more if the are always running out.

I'm not vegan and this is the only vegan restaurant I've even been to but I love their food and service. The fried cauliflower tacos are amazing. They also have a vegan ranch that is spiced perfectly. The staff is friendly, the beer list is good, if you're looking to eat some delicious fried vegetables... Head this way.

I ordered the mock duck tacos and my friend ordered the lemongrass tofu tacos w potato wedges and chocolate filled beignets. My mock duck was so well seasoned and flavorful along with a side of fresh greens. I thought I couldn’t finish both tacos but I couldn’t stop eating them. Potato wedges-Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Aioli on the side for dipping was yummy too. The beignets may have been over fried, they were a little hard. Competitive / little street parking, and the back patio area needs to be leveled but it had a cool vibe.

My fiance and I tried Reverie for the first time. When we walked in it was pretty busy however there were a few spots at the bar open. I ordered rice and beans and he ordered nachos! I enjoyed my meal, we wished there was more vegan meat added on to the nachos and the nachos did become cold pretty fast while eating them. I ordered the chai tea latte, it was ok, the spice on top almost took me out, I had to get a spoon to take it off it was super strong and there was a lot of it, not a lot of flavor in the actual drink. Loved the rice and beans, simple and filling. Would like to try it again sometime!

We've been back a couple times since our first visit and for good reason. They did a fantastic job of blending casual comfort with trendy stylings. The space invites you in to belly up at the small bar area or pull up a chair at the communal table. Service was friendly and the bartenders are happy to chat with you as you enjoy one of the many local taps available. They do an amazing job of blending unique flavors and textures to create one of a kind plant bases dishes that are sure to not disappoint! Vegan or not you've got to check this place out.

Wow, just wow. This has to be one of, if not the, best vegan restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. My boyfriend and I ordered takeout (b/c of COVID), so I’m only reviewing the food. We ordered the burger, mac & cheese, potato wedges, and buffalo cauliflower. Each dish was not an exact replica of the actual non-vegan food, and I think that’s a huge reason why it is so amazing. They take their own spin on it, make it theirs. I also believe that a major factor in the deliciousness of their food is the small menu, allowing each dish to be more carefully made. Everything we ordered was so good that I really can’t put it into words. You just gotta try it. I also really appreciate that everything is house made. It’s everything I want in a restaurant. If I were gonna eat a MorningStar burger, I’d make one myself. And I think Reverie knows this. They make dishes that aren’t easily made at home. They put care into their dishes. 110% recommend going here. We will definitely be returning. If you’d like a dish recommendation, the mac is definitely something you gotta try.

TASTY and 100% plant based ❤️ we had the eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy (🤤🤤🤤), cinnamon roll (huge!), and the fire roasted potatoes (recommend eating without ketchup/sauce - soooo flavorful). Drip coffee was really good and only $1 refills.

  • 5/5 Shauna V. 1 year ago on Google
Fantastic food, and I'm not even vegan! I had the classic BLT (which features tempeh instead of bacon). The fresh sourdough bread really made the sandwich. The tempeh was great, but not exactly reminiscent of bacon (neither thin nor crispy). I also enjoyed the arugula side salad with citrus balsamic dressing. Thanks to a recommendation from the staff, I tried the blueberry lime kombucha - it didn't disappoint. Their patio looks lovely, for those who want to dine outside. Everything is vegan here, including their various milk options for coffee. They offer coffee, beer, wine, and kombucha, as well as lunch and dinner, so Reverie is a good choice for any time of day. As a no-tipping establishment, just be aware that they add a 20% service fee to your bill. The atmosphere has a good vibe, and I liked their music selection. I just wish they had electrical outlets. I came to do some work over lunch and was really hoping to charge my laptop, but couldn't find an outlet. Overall though, Reverie is awesome and I'll be back for more! Their potato wedges look amazing - can't wait to try them next time.

The food was amazing!! My favorite item was the mac and cheese. It most definitely satisfied my cravings. I wish they still had the vegan chef challenge food item. It was SO GOOD! The atmosphere was also so welcoming and friendly. We brought our dog and everyone was saying hi and giving her treats. She was so happy, which made me so happy. I really appreciate everything they do for the community and the many delicious plant-based food options they have!

Thank goodness they only serve brunch on the weekends or I would be broke. The cinnamon roll of unusual size is the best thing I've ever eaten, and the breakfast biscuit sandwich is a close second. Also love their veggie burger! The staff are always friendly and on top of things. They have been rock stars with the takeout window and despite being busy, always get the order out within the stated time frame.

THANK YOU to my best friend Hailey for introducing me to Postilion. We were going to join some friends at a bar for food before going out, thank god we came here instead!! First of all, their Bottle & Board deal for $25 is unbeatable. You get a shareable brochette board with 4 breads plus a bottle of wine. The brochette are cut into 4 pieces for easy sharing. My fave was the smoked salmon and pesto, my friend loved the Brie/fig/apple.

Reverie is my favorite vegan restaurant in town. I loved their old and now their new location. Their burger is the best vegan burger I’ve had and I have had dozens. Everything we have had at their new location was delicious. Their beer list is diverse and local and the indoor and outdoor environment are warm and inviting. They also support other local vegan businesses and I enjoy being able to get Crepe and Spoon ice cream for dessert. Highly recommended.

Normally, I'm more of a fry person than potato wedges, but Reverie serves their potato wedge with an aioli that I would pay big bucks for.

Phenomenal housemade burger. Kidney beans and seitan and love made for a unique delicious meaty burger. Great bun. Smoked caramelized onions. A++. Fried tacos were pretty good. Kinda like Mexican style pierogis. They coulda used a sauce with a little more kick. Fried cauliflower were light and airy. Nice outdoor eating space.

My wife & I are not vegan/don’t eat vegan diets, but we wanted to try it out anyway because we live nearby. My wife ordered the KBLT (kimchi BLT) and I ordered the Cuban, both with the gluten free bread option ($2 extra). I’m not a huge fan of jackfruit but they flavored it well and I was actually full after my meal, which was awesome. The KBLT was good too - it’s not a traditional spicy Korean kimchi, it’s more like a coleslaw, but it was good. Flavors were shockingly GREAT for us both! Lots of flavor in our sandwiches. Salads were pretty good too. I also got an oatmilk cappuccino and that was fantastic. Although they basically made it a latte, not a cappuccino. But it was good. They get their beans from UP roasters in St. Paul. Great coffee. I wanted another one. 😂 The restaurant is kind of small, which isn’t bad, but when people sit near you it can get hard to hear your conversation if it’s busy or they’re louder people (lol), but it’s a fairly cozy atmosphere and we liked it. Kind of an eclectic artsy vibe. All in all… I am having coffee here with a friend in the near future. I hope that says what you need to hear. 😊

Was very delicious and good portions for vegan food. You will not leave hungry, or be hungry in an hour. I brought some home too full and satisfied all night! A little pricey but we got 2 entrees, the brussels and 2 drinks 6$ a piece.
