We’ve been coming here over twenty years and always have appreciate this significant local venue. We especially enjoy its large patio on the lake during warmer months. It delightful to take live music and dine in a beautiful outdoor setting. Consistently we’ve had great service. It was very busy during our last visit a few weeks ago on a Saturday evening. Yet our waitress was friendly and nice; she was also timely with her services. As well, she did not rush us to leave even when others were wanting our prime table up front by the music. The Charcuterie Board is well worth the $18. We were served a nice assortment of cold cut meats, olives, cheeses and crackers, fresh grapes, and dried cranberries. It is sufficient for three. The Walleye Platter is probably my favorite dinner entrée. It is consistently pan seared to ideally done and served with a fresh lemon cream sauce, and two sides of your choice. I chose the Brussel sprouts topped with bacon and onion. Its very tasty (but a tad too greasy for me). It's a popular place in the weekend and great for events. My local Chamber comes here often, and they offer an ideal setting as well as great drinks and appetizers. The wines and mimosas are very good. Its nice to see them expanding the menu at times. We tried the very popular Fried Pickles – but were disappointed. Most likely we are spoiled by having them recently in Destin, Florida at several venues, where they were absolutely fabulous. Ample parking. You can use your phone to access their online menu online; we asked for traditional copies that are a bit more expansive and our waitress was quick to bring them. The venue and music is exceptional, especially if you can catch Mick Sterling and others with significant performance experience.

I arrived for a reservation for 20 that had been made a month in advance for being seated outside on the patio. They were unable to honor our reservation when we got there. We were then seated inside where it took over an hour to get our drink orders where the majority of them were given to the wrong people or were not what we had ordered. Our reservation was from 5:30-8:30. 16 of us had ordered drinks during happy hour which was clearly designated by a time stamp of 5:55 on our bills. We were never given the happy hour prices. The waitress made us feel very uncomfortable about getting our bills changed like it was our fault and it was never done. So not only did it take forever to get our drinks of which the majority were wrong and late but the waitress wouldn’t even fix our bills. We were blamed for their mistakes. We had never had this experience there before. Whoever is now managing The Chart House is not supporting customer complaints. We have visited numerous restaurants before and never been treated like this.

We had great fast service here for lunch. Delicious shrimp app and good chicken strips and fries. My husband was happy with his walleye sandwich. My kid was very entertained with all the fish tanks as well!

Large patio on the lake. Beautiful place specially when it's sunny and warm. Live music Variety of drinks and food Waitress were friendly and nice slow kitchen, however we were compensated for drinks and an entree. It's a busy place in the weekend and they always have events

WORST meal I have ever eaten!!! I was with a group of five and three of us ordered the roast beef sub sandwich with side. Even though we were very hungry none of us could eat but a few bites. The meat tasted like rubber and was burnt-the bun was rock hard. I am not a fussy eater but I could not eat it. The service was very slow despite only a few other customers present. The waitress was cheerful when ordering, but did not once check back with us after ordering. We saw her only when she asked on who was paying the bill--she did not ask us on how the meal was but I am sure she realized the answer when she saw the plates with mostly uneaten food. I did not even receive my side, but after attempting to eat the sub I thought it best to forget it. On hindsight we should have complained to the manager on the quality of food but we did not want to go through the hassle. We will NOT be back!!!

The food was good, I especially liked the side salad, and the drinks were good. The waitress was very friendly and brought the food out in a fairly timely manner. I think once construction is over and things settle down and they star to bring in more people it will rival the charthouse of the 90s.

The Chart House should only be open for events and not a daily restaurant. Being a former hotel manager from years ago I pay attention to service, food, atmosphere and cocktails. The Martini glasses they use are stemless and are smaller than a standard Martini glass cheating the customer. The wait staff has zero personality. When you walk into the entrance there is no one around to greet you and eventually a wait staff member will finally see you and with zero personality tells you to sit where you want. There is no atmosphere as a restaurant bar to be open to the public. When the new owners remodeled inside they ignored putting a large bar and kept the small bar which was already in place. My recommendation to the owners is either bring a pleasant atmosphere to this establishment or close the restaurant to the public and only open for events. The Chart House does a great job with events but, not as daily restaurant

Tried this place for the first time more than 20 years. We got the Spinach and Artichoke dip was well as the Chicken Parmesan & pasta. The dip was a bit salty yet the overall taste was still very good. The Chicken Parmesan (enough food for two dinners) was excellent. Clean and friendly staff as well.

Had our wedding here and it was beautiful! Spacing was good, lighting was good, food was good… just overall the vibes was perfect for our wedding. Lisa the day coordinator was great at making sure we’re where we’re suppose to be at a specific time and George the wedding planner was great at making us feel more prepared for the days following up to the wedding. Definitely recommend for events, weddings, etc.

Samantha was our server and she was excellent 👍 The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The location is near a small lake which will be great for patio dining this Summer. We cannot wait to return to listen to the live music. Overall a great first impression.

How nice to learn that we have such a great place in the southern part of the Twin Cities. We had dinner in the restaurant part of the house and then went to the other side to listen to music with Mick Sterling and his group. What a lovely evening

I haven't had such great service anywhere like this. I was given the best service from the minute I walked in until I left. Summer was my waitress, and she was awesome . I ordered 2 beers that were delivered in a very timely manner. I ordered the meat lasagna, and it was amazing. It came with a large salad and bread and butter. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great food and great drinks and great service. Oh, and there was live music from Diane Zilverberg and Rose Duffy. I will definitely come back again.

From the moment we toured the venue in January 2023 to our wedding last weekend (October 2023), we were very pleased with the Chart House and their staff! All of our guests were also so impressed with the venue, staff, and food...and as newlyweds, we could not be happier with our choice of venue! We definitely will choose this location for more celebrations during our lifetime. Thank you everyone! J&J

We had a super fun evening at the Chart House and will definitely be back! The food was delicious, great view and loved the live music. The staff was pretty forgetful/kept missing things with our table (I had to go get my own high chair, no waters, forgetting things we asked for/needing reminders) but everyone was really kind.

They have an amazing patio but we ate in the lounge as we had been outside all day. We really enjoyed the fish tank bubbles. We were impressed by the range of menu options. A lot of choices are more affordable than the big chain restaurants and you can get a nice steak if you want. The crispy shrimp Flatbread I had was delicious and innovative. Service was a little slow but the host came and checked on us and made it right. We are going back this weekend. The tiramisu is the best I've had outside of Italy.

The CH is a great restaurant. We rediscovered this GEM recently. Brianno's in Eagan has always been a favorite of ours. The Chart House delivers on Brianno's Italian excellence😋. Cin, Cin!🍷

It was Date Night and our first time here. We ate on the patio. Service was great, Food was Delicious- I had the walleye, he had the seafood lasagna - crab cake appetizers. Music on the patio, and the weather was perfect to be out. Definitely will be back again. Thanks to your team for a wonderful evening

Lived in this area for 35 years and had never stopped at the Chart House, so finally did it! Gonna do the bullet point thing: * Great pond/lake-side setting. * Attentive, friendly service. * Looks like grounds are being improved. * Lasagna was...decent. I honestly expected better from Brianno's. * Cheese ravioli was...okay. * Patio chairs are uncomfortable old-school metal that leaves waffle marks on your bum/thighs. * Prices were average - which means, like everyone, higher than they've been. I don't blame them for this: everything has gone up. * Music the night we were there was very mediocre, but I understand they've also had good performers. All in all, a good experience, but I think the food could be tweaked upwards!

Just had my wedding here a week ago and everything was FANTASTIC! Such a beautiful venue! The staff was also incredible. FAB weddings made everything so smooth I didn't worry about a single thing day of! I can't recommend getting married here enough! Or even just stopping by for the fantastic food!

My wife and I recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Chart House. It went very smoothly and the staff was very organized and accommodating. The food was great and the indoor area was the perfect size for the number of people we had. The outdoor area was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and we had perfect weather. It was nice that our guests could go outside during the reception and hang out in the garden area. My wife also really enjoyed the updated salon area. We had many compliments all night on the venue and setup.

The Chart House once again provided a beautiful venue for our biggest fund raiser of the year. The staff provided wonderful service and the food was fabulous. Look forward to Relief Fest 2023.

We were really excited to try the Chart House because we're new to the area. We made a reservation but when we arrived the hostess glared at us when we walked in and didn't greet us, she just said "yes?" In this kind of exasperated tone. The menu was much smaller than we expected, which is totally fine but when we ordered their famous "yummy bread and dip" we didn't learn till the end of the meal that they didn't actually give us the dip! They just sent out a tiny cup of red marinara sauce but forgot to include the actual dip, but we didn't know that and our waitress never stopped by to check in or refill our drinks. The steak my spouse ordered first came out with mushrooms (which they didn't order) and then was so overdone it was inedible. I got the chicken special and not only was it cold but the flavor was unsettling. The wild rice that accompanied it was dry and flavorless and the veggies were practically mush. It took nearly 20 minutes before our waitress checked in with us so my spouse could send back their steak. They did comp us the steak meal but our drinks stayed empty most of the meal and the hostess hovered around us almost the entire meal, staring at us like we didn't belong there. We will not be back and we don't recommend others go either.

We had brunch on Sunday. It was fabulous. Every item was fresh. Even the eggs Benedict were hot and the yolk was not over cooked. Deserts were also great. We'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed the food and outside atmosphere on abeautiful sunny evening. Our server was knowledgeable about the drinks and menu, and very attentive. My only concern was that we were seated at a table too close to the very talented band. Conversation was difficult while they were playing.
