A little gem tucked away in a little corner of Lymm. Keeping Lymm heritage alive for future generations. What a pity warrington council won't allow heritage signs in the village. People only find it by accident or recommendation. Well worth a visit.

Great place to visit, interesting exhibitions on local trades and industries including fustian cutting and gold beating - there's even a dinosaur ! Wonderful collection of old photographs too that are a great talking point.

What a hidden gem, didnt realise it was there until very recently, and really glad we found it. We have been back since with a relative, and have recommended it to whoever listens! Very informative, well-laid out displays and boards, excellent hands-on information for young people, which is excellent, and really helpful volunteers who try really hard to supply info, if they don't immediately have it. Interesting place

We moored our narrowboat on the canal less than 100 yards from the Heritage Centre, and what a little gem this place is. We always make for information and history centres whenever we moor in a new place to try and learn as much as we can about it. This place has lots of information and history, and two friendly ladies there to answer questions and share insights. Because we live on the canals we are particularly interested in the Bridgewater Canal history, and this place didn't disappoint.
