I lived here for several years and then out of the blue they decided to take away my paid parking spot. This sent a clear message that they do not care about the people living there. Even after I sat down and explained the situation to them in detail, they essentially said loyalty and being a good tenant is not important to them. Furthermore, the amenities, condition of the apartment complex, and overall cleanliness dropped dramatically over the years. There are many better options

I am going through those recent reviews (mostly all negative) and I felt it was appropriate to balance things out, because a lof of it is simply not true (or at least not from my own experience). I lived at Union West for almost (7) years I think. I have seen the switch in management, many of the various managers, the good, the bad, etc. I think by the time me and my Wife left, we had been one of the oldest tenants in the building. At the time of this review, Bobby is the current Manager of this property and I can say without a doubt and absolute certainty that he is the BEST manager this property ever had. Inland, as a corporate entity, they are bad, REAL bad, and they could seriously learn from their feedback. But Bobby, totally separate from corporate, he will go above and beyond for his residents, to the best of his capabilities/available resources, even when they are rarely showing gratitude or any signs of recognition for what he is doing for them. Property wise, anyone claiming this property is in bad condition is straight up lying. I've seen other apartment complex and this building is VERY well maintained considering the very large amount of resident in it. You can't expect a property with over 300 units in it to stay 100% impeccable all year long. Some problems occurs here and there, but they are always fixed in a timely manner as much as possible. The amenities are fantastic and the 24/7 gym is the best, hands down, I have seen in an apartment complex. Me and my Wife had to leave this place for business purposes, but we would have never left otherwise. We had a incredible apartment with spectacular view, and the neighborhood provided the peacefulness we wanted. All the good memories we have of this place outweights by far the bad experience we've had. As long as Bobby is there, we highly recommend this property. It is clean, well maintained, has an incredible manager, and everything is close to it. That location is prime spot.

Getting the Pros out of the way - everyone that works within the lobby has been spectacular and the maintenance is team is top notch. Every time there has been an issue, it always gets resolved quickly and efficiently. They themselves easily get 5/5, 7 days out of the week. Now for the Con. The darn fire alarm. It is simply beyond Inland Real-estate Services to figure out how to fix the false alarms from going off so often throughout the whole building, including within the units. If you have a new born, are planning on having a kid, or a pet that is susceptible to stress - do not live here. The fire alarm goes off so frequently, its beyond bizarre. If that wasn't bad enough they won't give you more than a 45 minute heads up as a warning to when they will be testing it. I'm sure it is comical to read that a frequent fire alarm could kill a rather exceptional experience, but its just that bad. I've been living here since Q1 of 2021 and it has been getting exponentially worse. P.S. If the ~Union West Team~ responds to this review, don't bother reading it. Everything in it is disingenuous. I can almost promise you it isn't written by someone that works on site from the other responses I've read. "We are so sorry to hear..." lol, sure.

I really enjoy living here. The leasing office team is very nice and Matt and Bobby have always been super helpful. The maintenance team is very nice and when you put in a word order they fix it asap. Drive slow through the parking garage and you won’t have an issue. It’s apartment living so things are bound to happen but the leasing office has been proactive about it. They take good care of the landscaping and if it snows of if the maintenance guys will be plowing before you wake up. Pretty great place to live!

I lived at Union West for around 5 years and recently left to be closer to my wife's work. The staff here are amazing, Bobby is the best property manager I've come across and the maintenance crew were always so responsive and friendly. It's hard to beat this location with quick access to both Denver and the mountains and nearby train station and hiking/running trails from Green Mountain to Golden area. The building itself is about what you'd expect for a newish apartment complex and has a well provisioned gym, great community events, dog area (that I've heard is envied by dog owners from other nearby communicates), and I always felt safe. There are a couple quirks, I was never quite sure why the designers put the pool on the north side of the building meaning the pool has a lot of shade and, depending on which unit you're in, it can be a labyrinth that you or your movers will need to go through (both when I moved in and when I moved out it took my movers twice as long at this location than the other locations I was leaving/going to). Overall, this really is an outstanding place that we really enjoyed for five years and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to live in this area.

Lived at Union West for 2.5 years and had a great experience. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, maintenance was incredibly prompt, and amenities were top notch. Gym and pool are a huge plus. Excellent location - would urge you to consider leasing here if looking in the West Loop.

We lived at UnionWest for over 5 years. The location is great, the amenities are well kept and clean, and the staff is communicative and helpful. Shout out to Bobby (head of the leasing department) and Jason & crew (maintenance)! It’s hard to find an apartment complex that compares.

I have lived at union west for coming up on 2 years and although the rent is high, you get what you pay for. This is a “luxury” apartment, after all. The maintenance team here is phenomenal in every aspect, I once put in a work order for a leak during a blizzard and someone was knocking on my door in literal minutes!!! Julie, the property manager has always been very accommodative and friendly. The grounds are always clean and everyone who came to visit me was blown away by the interior design. It’s gorgeous. I would live here again but I unfortunately lost my high paying job due to covid. Maybe I’ll come back someday when things are back to normal. Neighbors are pretty to themselves.. lots of older residents so the property it fairly quiet, which I love. Upstairs neighbors can be noisy sometimes, but I feel like that’s apartment living, can’t hold it against them. Very secure building, it always feels safe here. And I LOVE the parcel lockers for packages however I do think they should be free. ;) I would highly recommend this property.
