This shop goes above and beyond for its customers. I’m a sit-skier and it’s difficult to find shops who are willing to work with a sit-ski. I recently broke my second-hand Nomad 105 and I came in to see what they had. After talking with the retail manager Matt Cassidy, he hooked me up with a leftover nomad 105 they had (since I only need one ski)! I’m beyond stoked, can’t wait to mount it up and get in the pow again! Besides the stellar customer service, they also make some of the best skis I’ve ever used.

If you have not experienced the amazing staff and the incredible products Icelantic offers, it is time you make a visit to the Icelantic Skis, Golden, CO shop and buy your first Icelantic skis, snowboard, and lifestyle apparel/gear. If you haven’t been there in awhile, time to get back to the shop and remind yourself how great this company is and how much they make you want to get Back to Nature. Icelantic combines art, performance and lifestyle, and their staff lives that lifestyle. The staff is full of great, positive energy and contagious stoke for the activities they love and the products they sell. Our family is all-in, with Icelantic gear and products for every season, from winter clothing and skis to summer swimsuits and beach gear. We love this locally founded company, and hope everyone gets the chance to be sucked into the amazing lifestyle of Icelantic’s combination of passion for nature, art, fashion, and outdoor adventure.

I’m having a tough time feeling positive about Icelantic as a brand right now. I bought their Nomad 105 ski last season and skied it a couple of times. Honestly, the ski didn’t feel right to me. Then I come to find out that the Nomad 105 is not true to specs. The ski measures 11cm underfoot and is actually a 110-111. I reached out to the company and expressed my frustration about feeling mislead by how the ski is advertised. In all my research of the ski I did not see any information about this not being a true to spec ski. I had to find out in a random conversation I was having with a ski tech about not liking how the ski was performing. The company acknowledged that he ski is not a 105. I asked them to let me exchange the ski since I felt misled by them. Their compromise was say that they don’t have a customer satisfaction policy and they would let me have another pair of skis at a reduced price since the skis I have were depreciated in value. So in essence I felt they told me I needed to pay more for new skis to account for their dishonest advertising. I don’t really see how this is a help to me. I bought their really expensive skis, put new bindings on them, based on a belief that I was getting a 105 ski underfoot. Because I trusted their advertising I spent a good junk of change and their response is “Yeah the advertising is not completely honest and why don’t you spend some more money getting new skis from us.” This company has lost a customer for life. They have lost my family’s business and I will make sure to let other people in my community know that this is not a brand they should invest money in. I think the vibe of the company and quality of the skis are great. I just don’t like feeling fooled and then being told I’m responsible to pay for it. Icelantic is responsible to be accountable for how they represent themselves. If they want to do that dishonestly I guess that is their choice. My choice is to never endorse or support this brand again.

Purchased the Natural 111 skis through the Ski Patrol. I had some questions since this is a new touring ski for me. Well in all my 35 years serving the skin industry, I have never had such great customer service from a ski company! They answered all my email and it was clear they would make sure I was satisfied!! Thank you Sean and Icelantic!!!

Whether it's first chair on a whistler peak pow day, or sunset turns on glacier peak, my nomad lites went everywhere I skied in the PNW. 5 star skis.

I am sending a big THANK YOU to Cody!!! 5 Star Customer Support! I purchased the 2022/2023 Maiden 101 skis for my daughter and there was an issue with the skis. Cody honored Icelantic's “BOMBPROOF” warranty and replaced the skis. Great company and their products are EXCELLENT. A bonus is that it is made in the USA. We are a family of (4) and we all ride Icelantic skis. Some of us even get to enjoy (2) pairs of them depending on the conditions. We all had a different brand of skis before switching to Icelantic's and we will never turn back.

I love my Nomad 95s as a park ski. They're playful, poppy, and really fun to ski. Also when I broke the edge on them in just over a year, they held true to the bombproof warranty and are sending me a replacement pair! Couldn't be happier with the skis or customer service from this company and Cody

I never write reviews, but the man working on 2/4 was so rude. It was the Goldens in Golden event. I came in with my dogs leashed around the same time as a USPS worker. I had been taking a photo of my dogs by the chairs in front of the store and the USPS worker politely waited the literally 10 seconds it took me to take the photo (rather than walking in front of the camera). I apologized for being in the way (and honestly he could have asked to go around and I would have happily moved for him). The man working in the store immediately starts loudly talking about how “terrible” the event is with the postal worker. He comes around the corner to tell ask me to not have my dogs step on the rug (which they weren’t and I was happy to continue preventing them from doing so). But the point is that he knew I was there and immediately went back to criticizing those of us here for the event. I went in intending to buy some of the clothing products because I love them, but abruptly left because I wasn’t going to stay in the store while having to listen to someone insult me and everyone else in the town that was here for this awesome event. However rude the employee thought I was to the letter carrier, pales in comparison to how rude it is to openly talk s**t about a customer who is trying to buy stuff from your store. Like I said, I never write reviews, but this was honestly so weird and uncomfortable that I had to say something. I’ve worked retail, I get it, people are annoying and I’m sure having large town wide events makes it worse. But openly criticizing someone in ear shot is not ok, especially when that person is a customer.

Just wanted to say thanks for creating such a great ski!!! We moved to SW Colorado a few years ago and have been skiing lots of good powder. It wasn't long before my wife and I realized we really needed a good powder ski. We test drove a few of your competitions but as soon as we took our first run in 43" of powder with Icelantics we were hooked! Went home and ordered Maiden 101' s for her and Nomad 105's for me...its snowing now, can't wait for our first run (its killing us!). Thanks again for a great ski and keeping it in CO!!!

Used to love these guys and their product. Great Colorado Story. Changed in just a few words. I won a pair of Icelantics at a charity auction. The photo and actuals did not match and when I asked to swap different in my size, was told “nope.. no swaps for donations”. I even offered to pay difference. “Nope”. Then asked to have someone in management call me. Been over a week- NADA. Shocked. Bummer.

This is exactly what an American company should be. They make high quality products, excellent customer service, and (what I like most) they take the extra step to make sure they promote other USA-made products via their awesome apparel. I even had the chance to meet the owner, Ben, and he's and awesome dude. Passionate about skiing and making awesome products. If you're looking for a new pair of skis or just some great swag, this is the place to invest. You won't be disappointed.

Woooooo!!! Such an awesome experience here today. Cassidy rocks. He talked me through the lineup, showed me everything I wanted to see, and let me chat his ear off about the greatest hobby known to man (skiing). Got some Nomad 105s, and now I’m just waiting for it to snow. That can happen in August, right?

Great brand of quality skis. Love supporting this local company and their products. Customer service is top notch, staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their products. UPDATE-Just complete my first multiday tour with icelantic natural 101 backcountry skis. Huge improvement in weight and skiing capability over my last set up. I used fristchi tectons bindings and Big Sky Mountain Products skins. These skis float powder very well. Their rocker profile is confidence inspiring on steep skin track. You will love these
