Red Sea Grill is part of MovenPick resort in Aqaba, Jordan. While checking in at the hotel we made the reservation for dinner and checking lady gave us 25% discount. It’s close to the Red Sea beach and whole environment is very welcoming. The hospitality staff is friendly, welcoming and efficient. We started with Arabic Mezzanine and garlic prawns served with humus and bread along with Red Jordan wine. I ordered Arabian Style Fish and really enjoyed it. I am used to eating fish with bones and spice. My son in law ordered Red Sea Grill special which I will recommend for the taste and experience. It is baked inside tomb of salt and it was uncovered on the table. It was tasty too. I recommend this place to all Aqaba visitors.

Got fooled by the classic tripadvisor ranking. We came here due to the high ratings but were completely let down. Good location, pretty hotel, restaurant had some nice views over the red sea. Unfortunately, that's where the pros end. There were 6 of us. We ordered some starters and some main courses. All of the seafood was painfully overcooked to where they were becoming chewy. They charge top dollar for their food, they don't deliver on their dishes. We only had water with our meal, had 3 starters to share between 6, each had a main dish and a he bill came up to $70/person. I wouldn't go back.

We had an OK dinner at this restaurant, but no more than that. My girlfriend had the Arab Fish which was great, but my salmon dish was a bit burnt. Not the worst, but at this place I expect better. Also, the prices were pretty high, and service charge and tax was not included in the menu price and came as an addition. But the worst was the service of the male waiter. He only contacted me, and my girlfriend felt like air. Even when my girlfriend ordered something he had his eyes on me and asked for my opinion. Pretty rude, and very inpolite. The night got a lot better with the waitress Ana. She was very, very polite, and respectful to both me and my girlfriend. This restaurant would definately have gotten 2 stars, but Ana made it worth 3 stars. 5 stars for her service. Summary: Pretty good food (one of two dishes great), expensive, some inpolite waiters.

Very good food very good service and very good drank also But the furniture a little bit shabby not what I expect from five Stars Restaurant there are some errors in the menu like the price for one of the tagine not correct and they didn't write the name of the fish in the main dish of the restaurant it's dorado fish by the way I took photos of the menu you can take a look

Actually a really nice place. Staff tries hard but three fails in a row is too much for a good rating. In went there after dinner for a tea. a) they did not have two of the teas they have on the menu (its about simple tea bags not the fish of the day - so not that difficult) b) I could not charge to my room because the hotel made a mistake during check-in c) when I then paid cash and when I recieved the change I relized thaz they generously rounded up to the next dinar, giving themselves a 20% tip. I don't care about 75 cents and I am a generous tipper (if deserved) ... but prefer to decide myself.

The fillet beef steak is best choice! The mixed seafood can be better. Service was excellent

Service was very poor, waitress tried to memorize instead of write down our order; result was we didn’t get the starter we ordered. Waited for ages for our mains, unfortunately the mixed seafood grill had been just that little bit too long on the grill… The other main came with one piece of toast, to share… Picked up a tab of close to 100 JD for a very disappointing experience

Nice place for dinner. Lovely dtaff, quiet atmosphere and the beach view is wonderful. Good food of little bit moroccan touch. It's part of the Movenpick hotel.

Food is tasty and service is prompt, helpfull staff. Prices as regular in Jordan, expensive.

Lovely food but disgraceful service. Their payment system went down and they blamed us. Demanded cash. The night manager was arrogant and useless. We went there to mark the first anniversary of my wife's/sons' mother's death and they ruined it. Very disappointed.

Great food, great location, superb service but no one there

My wife and I enjoyed a memorable meal at the Red Sea Grill on May 4th. The grill is located on a small balcony overlooking the Red Sea and Gulf of Aqaba. You can see the lights of Eilat and Sinai mountains across the Gulf. The wait staff were all friendly and efficient. We both ate a fish dish (fish harrah) which was delicious. The Jordanian Sauvignon wine we ordered was also quite good. This is not an inexpensive restaurant but the price reflects the quality of the food and the beautiful setting in a lovely hotel. Highly recommended.

Very rude and unhelpful staff. I asked for a vegetarian option and was brought a meal with meat and when I complained no apology was given. They also refused to provide food which other diners we're eating because they didn't want to go and get it from the hotel despite going to get other items from the hotel for other customers both before and after I had asked. The meals we did eventually get certainly weren't worth the wait and we definitely won't be returning. Very disappointed.

Great place to eat!! We had some marvellous fish dishes! View on the red sea by night is romantic!

My husband and I went there for a date night, honestly this place is way over rated and priced, you have to pay for the water, really! Also, they did not have napkins, when I asked for napkins, they got me some paper towels. The service and food were poor compared to the price and our expectations from a 5 star hotel restaurent. There were no signs to lead us to the restaurant, and we hardly found anyone to ask. All in all, will never go back again.

Amazing service. The food was excellent with a little Moroccan twist. The view was incredible, the staff took such good care of us. The shrimp appetizer was phenomenal,. Very recommended if you a change in the pace of food and you want top notch service.
