All
we
wanted
was
a
beer
or
glass
of
wine.
The
Rovers
Return
Pub
was
empty
and
the
unfriendly
welcome
by
the
waitress
ensured
it
remained
just
that,
empty.
We
moved
on
and
saw
Suzana
Restaurant
nearby.
We
asked
the
waiter
if
it
would
be
ok
just
to
have
a
drink
(as
the
tables
were
all
prepared
with
tablecloths
and
settings)
and
he
said
of
course,
no
problem.
I
ordered
a
glass
of
white
and
my
husband
said
he
wasn't
sure
which
red
to
try.
The
waiter,
Joseph
said,
allow
me
to
choose
one
for
you.
If
you
don't
like
it
I
will
exchange
it
for
another,
free
of
charge
of
course!
Both
glasses
were
delicious.
A
plate
of
cheese
and
walnuts
were
presented.
We
had
actually
planned
to
eat
dinner
elsewhere,
but
the
welcome
just
continued
and
we
made
ourselves
very
comfortable
in
the
peaceful
setting.
We
both
just
looked
at
each
other
and
said
let's
eat
here!
We
ordered
fish
and
I
said
I
would
like
another
glass
of
wine
when
the
food
comes
out.
Jospeh
moved
us
to
a
more
sheltered
table
as
the
wind
picked
up.
A
selection
of
crudites
and
dip
appeared.
About
half
an
hour
later
Jospeh,
having
served
many
other
customers
in
the
meantime,
came
over
and
asked
if
I
would
like
my
wine
now
as
the
food
would
be
ready
in
2
minutes,
all
freshly
prepared.
I
couldn't
believe
he
had
remembered!
When
my
fish
arrived,
Joseph
knowing
by
now
I
am
veggie
plus
fish
and
not
too
happy
about
my
food
looking
back
at
me,
offered
to
help
me
fillet
the
fish.
I
took
him
up
on
his
offer
and
watched
him
professional
remove
the
bones.
The
food
was
amazing,
the
service
impeccable,
present,
always
present,
but
not
intrusive
as
a
previous
review
mentioned.
This
is
good
old
fashioned
customer
service
of
days
long
gone.
It
was
so
refreshing
to
experience,
so
a
big
thank
you
to
Joseph
and
the
chef.
Highly
recommended!
