I have to give this a 5/5 rating because I just think the 3,9 it has now is not enough. It may not be a fair way of rating but hear me out: This is a classic Jordanian diner, usually pretty busy, with a select amount of dishes and many people bustling about. No, it’s not a fine dining place and some things are not totally hand made on the spot. Still, the prices reflect that and the things you get to eat are delicious in their own right. You can either order take away or dine in. Many locals use it for take away, we chose to eat in. The hummus with ground meat on top was more oily than I had anywhere else in Jordan but my god was it nice. If you find yourself in Aqaba and want to eat something that’s not as obviously aimed at tourists, come here.

Come here for great tasting hummus and falafel. Don't expect fancy decoration or overly helpful staff. Sit upstairs for a quieter experience or if you're with children. (No smoking upstairs) The food is great and the prices are excellent. This will fill you up for the whole day.

Best food in town, really nice people and a great experience! You need to try the hummus, falafel, foul and the most amazing was Chicken shawarma!

Wow what can I say? This place is a must go to place in Aqaba if you are there. The food is so tasty and is so cheap! You really do get good value for your buck here! It cost us £5 equivalent for two of us to eat lunch here. The food was so tasty and prepared for us there and then whilst we were there. If you’re in Aqaba then give this place a visit!

Tasty food with good value for money. The falafel and hummus were super tasty. Polite staff. I ordered 8 falafel, Fatteh hummus and fried potatoes, pepsi and tea just for 3 JD. Highly recommended.

Fantastic breakfast for 2JD - probably my cheapest meal in the whole of Jordan as well. The food is freshly made. Level 2 for female and family customers. Will recommend 👍🏻👍🏻

Typical restaurant with a room for family upstairs. Many local families were there for lunch. Nice staff. Very low prices and good food: we had lunch for five people (2 big sandwiches with falafel, 3 meat + hummus and salad, 2 french fries, 12 falafel and 2 water bottles) for only 10 JOD. We strongly recommend it !

Asked a local where to eat, they said here. Not disappointed and super cheap. Was only tourist as place was flooded with locals. $ cost and great atmosphere with exceptional hummus, falafel, etc. Highly recommended!

Incredibly tasty and cheap falafel cafe! Seemingly frequented by locals, this was our favourite falafel stop in Jordan 🙂

Great choice of local food, prices very low - you can eat completely for 3 Jod. Falafel balls are speciality.

Here we are in the second best place for local food in Aqaba! After a full intense day in Petra this one was the best perk possible! We ordered a lot of food and everything was absolutely delicious, hummus is not the best ever but anyway pretty good obviously, I mean, we were in Jordan! Nice atmosphere, a lot of nice people and incredibly good prices! Super recommended!

Super cheap restaurant serving tasty Jordanian food. We ordered 2 falafel sandwiches, a shawarma sandwich, a giant plate of grilled liver and 2 drinks and the total bill was only 3.50 JOD. The only issue is there is no English menu but the waiter spoke some English and helped us order.

Very nice local restaurant in Aqaba. I had falafel, chicken shoarma and hummes. Everything was really tasty. The best place for quality-price ratio! Highly recommended.

We went there after being recommended by the receptionist at the hotel. As a tourist, it is not the kind of place you will go to normally , which means this place is incredible for even more reasons. To be honest, it has been a year and that hummus fatah and falafel still come to mind. I highly recommend this place for the food but also for the staff, which work together like the best machine ever made and are also nice 👍

Best place to go if you want a local experience. It was delicious and super cheap (we paid 7,10€ and had plenty of food for two). I highly recommend!

Local Jordanians fast food. Basic place. Nice people. Chicken Shuarma is not that good. Good fresh salad. Falafel is good. Fries are cold or old and reheated. Even a basic place can be a lot better.

Best food I had in Jordan! The spicy liver is just amazing and my favorite, even though the hummus with meat or the foul or falafel are also great! The staff is lovely and the chefs incredible talented!

You can eat very well here for less than 3 JD. The excellent falafel balls are almost free - 4 for 0.05 JD. Top Tips: Waiters will ignore you until you signal them for a menu or to place your order, so don't be shy. When done, just walk to the front desk where the boss already has your invoice. Cash only. Also, upstairs seating is for families and women only.

One of the best and oldest popular restaurants in the city of Aqaba. Great treatment. Hummus, beans(فول) , falafel and sandwiches are served with excellent taste and acceptable prices.

Great, incredibly cheap local food. Quick service in modest surroundings. But around a fifth the price in other restaurants in Amman and the tourist focused places in Aqaba

Really delicious food and fantastic value for money. The falafels are so tasty. I ordered 12 falafels, labneh, hummus with lamb meat, tomato with lamb meat, lots of bread and a tea for 5.5 JOD. It is a great place for an authentic experience with top notch food.

The place was recommended to us from the hotel, good Jordanian traditional food. It is a traditional restaurant, with traditional and VERY good food. Prices are affordable, this is not a touristic venue, it is real restaurant where many locals eat. Very good!

This place totally deserves 5/5. Majority of people are locals and the food is excellent. Not mentioned the price which is outstanding. 20 falafels for 0.25 dinars

Delicious, quick and honest. The best food we had in Jordan so far. All the plates were delicious, incredibly tasty and light at the same time. We ate so much but didn't feel heavy afterwards. The people are so polite, welcoming and honest (same prices for everybody). Very kind with tourists to let couples together at the ground floor and patience with the ordering and everything really. You have to have a meal here if you are in Aqaba. Do not skip the falafel.

Very big and busy place, the staff are friendly and polite and their service is fairly fast. The food is delicious and fresh, upon entering the restaurant you can see the chefs cooking by the entrance and the huge crowds constantly forming to buy food from there. It is a very cheap and delicious please, which seems to be one of the “go to” places for the locals. I highly recommend!

It is just OK. Nothing exceptional. Falafel and fries are so good. Fried eggs are very simple. Foul didn't meet our expectations.
