Still, this hotel is my first choice when I'm going to visit Aqaba with my family or in business. You will feel you are at home ,everyone is friendly and smiles and wants to help you .Thanks to the hotel owners. ( Darar Polacky).

I had a work trip and Captain’s hotel was a perfect choice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They clean and tide the room daily. The have nice restaurants with affordable price. Morning buffet had various types of fresh food. For Landry services, you need to pay half a JD for ironing only and 1 JD for dry clean. The location is perfect: - almost 10 minutes walk from Jet bus station. - 1 minute walk from the popular cafes and restaurants in Aqaba. -3 to 4 minutes walk from the Royal Yacht Club. - 3 to 4 minutes walk from the Center of Aqaba where you find all the shopping places. - 3 to 4 minutes walk from other 5 stars hotels. **** Highly recommended****

Enjoyed my stay here in October 2023. All staff are polite and helpful, the rooms are sizeable and I had a huge, very comfortable double bed with a nice view of the Gulf of Aqaba. Only downsides were the pool is unheated and doesn't get a great deal of sun, and the hotel doesn't have its own parking but there is generally parking out front or to the side. I consider it to be good value, I paid about £60 a night.

I stayed there two nights recently as part of a tour ending in Aqaba. My room had two double beds and whilst I wanted to take the bed closer to the window I found the bedlinen was still wet. Bathroom: The shower has this imposing contraption and you expect multiple facets but in the end it was just rickety fluff, you had to detach the shower head to point it in the right direction, the water was only every lukewarm and only ever a trickle. Allow plenty of time for a thorough clean. My toilet first blocked, then no water refilled, then my bathroom floor flooded. Every time I had to call reception and it took from 08:00am to about 1.00pm until I could safely relax. The room was somewhat shabby and I felt the need to put a towel on the chair before I sat on it, There was a TV but programs were only in ARABIC. Also, I was surprised to see an ashtray in the room. I was not asked a preference of smoking or non-smoking room when we checked in. We had two group dinners at their fish restaurant and the food was very poor. Since this was at the end of my 12 day tour I feel qualified to pass this judgement. In essence it is a hotel for tourists with not an ounce of extra care towards the guest, after all, that guest is only passing through. Only saving grace was that it was really centrally located in Aqaba.

The best seafood restaurant in Aqaba! The portion is more than enough, we ordered meal for two, I can tell u it’s enough for 3 or maybe 4 because they serve salad and side dishes on the side and it’s included!! We’re so satisfied and price is so responsible and affordable !

at this place they want to charge you a premium without providing any service. when I went to the restaurant it was hot, I asked the server to turn on the air conditioning it took him a minute to do it then I ordered a hookah after a long wait he brought it without changing the water, the water wasn't clean. So I thought I will go to management and talk to them about what happened, specially we living in different time were clean is must ( coved 19 ). The Management seems they don't care. I will never go there again and I don't recommend this place .
