One of the best dive sites in Aqaba. No need for boats or special equipment, only few meters from the shore and you can find the tank wreck which was scuttled in September 1999 to create an artificial reef. Few meters to the south and you will find the plane wreck (Hercules C-130) which qas scuttled in November 2017. Near these two artificial reef sites we could snorkel / dive to see one of the most beautiful coral reefs in Red Sea whit many types of corals, fish, and sea creatures. Rest rooms and showers, free car parks, and other services are available, all what you need is you snorkel / dive equipment which could be provided by diving centres in good prices.

Fantastic dive site with both a tank and a Hercules transport plane to dive in and around! Lots of Glass fish and Lion fish hunting them in the tank and Hercules cockpit. This is an easy, shore entry dive and we went out over some of the coral gardens to about 18m before heading back up to the Hercules at 15m and then the tank at 5m. Thick-soled booties are a must for all the dive sites along here as the waterline is made up of building rubble and large, angular pebbles.

Great dive area for beginners and very nice idea to do the security stop (5 meters) when ascent near the tank. Be careful with the sea urchins and enjoy the colors and clown fishes that lives there

Had an idyllic day sailing from Aqaba, stopping to snorkel on coral reefs and submerged tank and plane. Picked us up and deposited us at jetty on beach of Movenpick Hotel. Great value too.

This is one of the best dive site I have ever visited. The access is so easy from the beach, you can just ask some locals on the beach and they will indicates to you how to enter the area to reach the sunk tank. It is really impressive. Be careful with the corals and remember how you entered so that you can find you way out easily.

My favorite dive site as the reef is right on the beach and you do not need a boat to enjoy the sea. Hamza Divers in Aqaba was a very good dive guide.

We attempted snorkelling but unfortunately it was too wavy for us to manage it with the kids that day. Easy free parking and from the little amount we did do, could see coral and lovely fish right from a few metres off the shore.

First Reef diving experience at Aqaba and my second dive at Red Sea but this time from a different country and coast. Considering the diving charges, I would rate this experience as good and this is really a nice opportunity for those who are looking for a budget scuba diving trip in Aqaba but if one is willing to pay some extra amount then I would highly recommend the Deep sea diving via boat trip into the Red Sea which is altogether a different experience compare to any reef diving. The sighting of marine creatures was less compared to my last diving trip at Red Sea from Hurghada but overall it was a good experience considering the first Reef diving. One can easily booked this trip from Aqaba through most of the hotels and cost of diving is around 30JD for Reef Diving and 100 JD for Deep Sea Diving at Red sea which is equivalent to 3100 INR and 11000 INR including photography

The tank is amazing, a bit tricky to find when snorkelling. Ask some the locals to point you in the right direction. Really cool to see the tank in the clear shallow water!

👍👍 We loved the beach. There was very few people other than divers and snorkelers - which is what the beach is most appropriate for. I was diving to the tank, the C130 plane and some coral formations and all dives were great. For snorkeling is also a great spot if you find an area with little traffic f...
