The way up and down to the spring is not done trough a single path. You can start from any point and make your way up to the top as you see fit. It is under the sun at all time so plan to take water. It is a rather short climb though steep of about 15 mins. We could easily manage the climb with an 11, 13 and 15 years old. On the top you’ll find a very small spring that resembles a pond and that the Bedouin have tap into to bring water down the valley for the animals.

This is a place in the Wadi Rum desert where camels come to drink from a natural water source. Makes it quite lively and interesting to visit. Typically part of a 4WD excursion taken from one of the tented camps.

Nice views from the spring which itself is just unattractive small water hole. The climb is not easy and descent even more difficult due to big rocks. Take it easy and slow!

A magnificent natural monument. The sensation is unique and magical. Diving you in the myth of reality. A must visit site when visiting Jordan.

Make sure you do a multi day visit to wadi rum because this site and the other ocuple ones close to the village are innundated with tourists and not all that much fun. If you can get to the back of the desert you can have similar places all to yourself.

It was challenging with the heat! You have to climb the rocks which is really challenging at some point, the hike varies between medium and hard. There’s nothing special about the spring but the view of the desert is breathtaking. Nice experience

Beautiful views, short hike up from the foot of the hill over rocky terrain (avoiding the piping!). There's also a rock at the base with petroglyphs for extra perusal.

Most jeep tours end here. I didn't think it was worth climbing up and I'm glad I didn't. If you do, I suggest you do so very early.

Beautiful view of the desert after you scrambled up the mountain! Wear good grip shoes/sandals, take water with you. First stop of the jeep tour from the village so pretty crowded at the base. On the way back to the village, we stopped here again to take a 1/2h camel ride (5jd/per) back to the village. Highly recommend the camel ride, super fun experience and just a right amount of time. The camels are cute and seem to be well-looked after!

Check the rock with the ancient writings, climb up the mountain (take water). The view is insanely beautiful! Then enjoy Bedouin tea when you get down. This is a regular stop for all tours - Jeep or camel, so later in the morning can become pretty crowded. Highly recommend doing it though! One of the highlights of our tour!

A worth experience in the desert. You have to climb the rocks till there but that's the fun of it.

If you are there climb up to the spring aš high as you can. The view is priceless and amazing on top of the desert. You can even walk to that place from the village close by. Just bring some water and food with you and you can stay there for a bit and relax. There are heaps of tourists coming by, so that could be a bit crowdy up there. Otherwise ENJOY!

Really nice view, climbing up there is not that easy and you better wear adequate shoes (no Flipflops…)

The view from up there is very beautiful, but I don't recommend climbing all the way up. The spring is very small and not interesting. The mountain itself isn't very easy to climb, need to be very careful.

Nice place to stop. Climb the rocks a bit for a nice view. Ride the camels here rather than petra. Have some tea.... buy a scarf... 5 dinars

Only spring in wadi rum. Natural water good to visit if you are already in wadi rum. Not far from Wadi Rum willage.

Named after T E. Lawrence, the spring was used for centuries before Lawrence of Arabis used it. On a nearby rock are Nabataean inscriptions.

One of the rare sources of water, its pretty much a must see on basically every tour in wadi rum. Its a steep but short climb from a small camp next to it. You will se pipes running down the spring, supposedly to provide water for the animals (camels mostly). The climb is a bit tricky at times, however the spring itself is underwhelming and rather small, but that is to be expected. The views are stunning though.

useless place, except for a short hike up the mountain with a very good view the spring itself is irrelevant with a lot of garbage, and there are a lot of people, as the "standard" tour takes you there ...

Nice seating area. People were friendly and the camel ride was amazing.

Great view from above. The spring is not what it sounds like, puddle sized dirty water. Still worth the climb for the amazing vantage point.

I like at this place it’s panoramic view from above! This is like a station for a camels because there’re spring water running between the mountains. Tourists can climd to the beginning of this spring and really enjoy the view from there!

Beautiful place with history. Men sitting nearby gave us really tasty tea for free, they are also selling this tea in small bags, so you can take it to your home, but... it's not the same taste, it's much worse! Looks like it was a little scam.

😐 The house in itself has little value. You can climb tHe mountain behind it and it gives a nice view on the wadi rum desert. Lots of stone piles makes it a different experience than other climbs. We went up the hills with a 11, 13 and 15 years old. Some parts are a little more difficult but nothing u...

👍👍 Beautiful place with great view. The climb up there is not difficult. Should visit if you go to wadi rum BTW please don't do weird jumping poses. A lady from my trip told me that somebody fell off and died a month earlier. Better be safe than sorry 🙏
