Very disappointed. Was told I will have a nice room with a view, but end up with a room looking at construction. The room has only ONE outlet and it’s not even by the bed. The mini bar was totally empty. The tub doesn’t drain. The balcony door needs two people to open it because it is broken. The store was closed, so you have to walk 10 minutes off the resort if you need something, but you can’t bring it in. The swim up bar was closed. The adults pool had kids all over it. Never again. For the amount of money I paid, I got a service worse than a motel.

We stayed for 2 days, over the weekend, rooms were clean and well maintained, service was great, receptionist was so friendly, along with most of staff. Food experience was really terrible and shockingly cheap quality, we had dinner in the buffet restaurant, food was very unpleasant, chicken was so greasy and fishy, beef “or lamp NOT SURE”, was so chewy from inside and hard from outside and fishy as well, fish was the same “unbeatable”, dessert we could only taste sugar, we end up eating fruits for dinner. Next day for breakfast buffet as well, we were shocked how a 5 starts hotel with such a prestigious name serve water from a WATER COOLER !!, instead of bottled water, juices glasses were prefilled “1/3 of the cup only !”, the whole restaurant didn’t have a single piece of napkin tissue, only the linen napkins, food was fine, only the cheapness in the quality of drinks was shocking. Even water inside the room, was only 2 pieces, we had 2 joined rooms, and we were 5 of us, when we asked for extra, we had to pay 5$ for each !! Food and beverage experience I give it 1 out of 10. Beach side was nice, small but neat, the only thing I can say about it that it has too many stones “small ones”, poolside was amazing, evening party was great and joyful. The best thing of it all was the great hospitality from each and every employee.

Overall, 10/10. Rooms were beautiful and constantly stocked, beach was incredible, and the pools were out of this world. Spa was amazing. Went every day of my stay, sometimes twice a day. The steam and sauna were top of the line and din’t get me started about the gigantic jacuzzi. They carry great products and the staff is AMAZING!

The best 2 nights I have spent here in Intercontinental, Very excellent and caring staff.. If you want a hotel that really takes care of its customers then choose intercontinental.. Breakfast and Dining is excellent. Rooms are great and taken care of.. Whatever you need from room service you dial the customer service number and they immediately bring what you need.. Highly advise If you want to have a great time ! Will be here again.

The staff were amazing ... The staff at the pool who gave us our towels and water every morning. Despite the heat, they always had a smile on their faces and were super nice. The wait staff at breakfast were also amazing and the coffee guy too. Housekeeping was excellent... Ammar at reception.was especially helpful and super nice. Unfortunately, the food quality was not good, and prices were insanely high, including the water sports...etc . The hotel was also way too crowded with kids running around unattended. The beach was littered with cigarette butts and garbage, including broken glass. Finally, there was a group of Israeli tourists who were drinking whiskey at the pool early morning and playing their music loud and despite the fact that I made a complaint to the staff at the pool and they talked to them, they continued to play their music loud a d we left the pool as a result. That's why we cut our trip short and left a day early. All in all we enjoyed our stay mostly because of the wonderful service and beautiful beach. Thank you.

My stay in this hotel is excellent, Me and my family got a very warm welcome from everyone, weather it was in the restaurant , at the pool or the reception. Everyone is very nice and their work is irreproachable. What I like the most is the entertainments, especially the fire show by Momo and maria and the games with the kids also with luigi. Me and my little siblings love it! There is place for fun and relaxing.

Very enjoyable experience at this hotel. Hotel was a great location to explore Aqaba, Petra and Wadi Rum. We had breakfast each morning in the Corniche restaurant and our server Fadel was excellent. He also served us in the Martini Lounge in the evening. He was one of the many friendly faces we met during our stay. Thank you Intercontinental Aqaba for a wonderful ending to our vacation. We would definitely stay with you again.

IT WAS A GREAT STAY!!! I really recommend you guys and keep up the amazing work, there is some nice guys at the front desk (Fadi and Ahmed) they were too nice and polite. Special thanks to the spa receptionist and therapist i really had an amazing experience there. And finally thanks to the beach front staff an extraordinary service.

The first thing we noticed on arrival was the lovely fragrance in the lobby. We spent a very happy 8 days here using the hotel as a base to explore the surrounding area. There are excursions available that can be booked either from the concierge or from the taxi company / tour operator in the lobby. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful fragrant gardens (a lot of jasmine bushes) and there were many birds flitting about the gardens. The pool area is spectacular and we enjoyed a great view of it from our room. We sometimes got up early if we had a day trip and had a coffee on the balcony where we saw the staff busy making sure the garden, pool and beach areas were spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the food served in the restaurants and the beach bar. The hotel is a short walk from the city centre of Aqaba and is close to some of the important historical sites. You even get a pillow menu. I found the original pillows in the room too soft and chose some firmer ones. There is a spa and a gym on site and a giant out door chess set next to the beach

Beautiful hotel with lovely facilities and wonderful staff. We had a very nice woman help us in the breakfast buffet and she got us everything we needed. I didn’t catch her name unfortunately. However Khetam in the spa was wonderful and accommodating for all our needs. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

Spent 4 nights here. The staff bend over backwards to make sure everything is satisfactory. The breakfast bar was always well stocked, and very good food. Aqaba is a busy modern city, with an old world flavor. Loved the market downtown and some of the little restaurants and shops that one finds while out and about, but was always a delight to return to the hotel which felt like our home, away from home! Our room was very clean, and well supplied with the things we needed. There was even a bathroom scale in the closet! Coffee and tea were restocked every day which was welcome. Hated to leave… but the time comes in which one must go. We will be back…. Someday.

The rooms are nice, especially the suites. I ordered room service and they were fast but don't expect the same quality or standard from the individual restaurants on site. There are a few nicks on the walls and ceilings (I would assume from the humidity) which need to be taken care of as well as making sure that the room is serviced completely without the need to call room service to refill empty tissue boxes. Service is good and fast but they need to keep an eye on maintenance. All in all I enjoyed it, nothing major to complain about.

I reserved a room for my family, and upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Mosab at the front desk. He provided us with an introduction to the hotel's amenities and some helpful guidance. The room size was just right, not cramped at all. However, the furniture appeared a bit dated and lacked a modern touch. The balcony view was decent. We made use of the public pool, and I must say, the pool services were excellent. They supplied me with an icebox and towels, ensuring a comfortable experience. In the evening, we headed to the beach to enjoy the sunset. I ordered an orange juice to beat the heat, but unfortunately, it wasn't served cold and lacked ice, which was a disappointment. The breakfast was passable, but I couldn't fully enjoy it due to the limited food options available. On a positive note, the hotel provided parking facilities, including charging stations for electric cars. Regarding room cleanliness, I would rate it 3.5 out of 5, as I noticed some cleanliness issues during our stay. Overall, I'm open to giving this hotel another chance in the future. Our stay was enjoyable, and my family had a good time. I hope the hotel management considers making improvements to enhance the guest experience.

Outstanding venue, we re coming here for 7 years already, and witnessed how this "sleeping beauty" of a resort, came back to the highest service standards in the face of competition. It's good for both families with kids, and adults without kids. The venue has a huge natural sandy beach, fully private, incredibile breakfast and service in all its restaurants, including beach side where you can order via a scanned menu, and not moving a finger. Every issue you meet is dealt with, and the staff is professionnal and very friendly. Particular kudos to Mr Saleh and both Maricris

I totally would choose staying here over and over again. This hotel is an amazing option for family vacations. The staff were so friendly, the food was perfect especially the breakfast buffet and room service. The beach was just mesmerizing and perfect during the day and night, we absolutely loved it. I would like to thank Muhannd at the reception and Fadel at the Beachfront, both were super helpful and friendly.

Perfect location, perfect beach, nice view. However, I have my own experience,s observations and I am pretty sure this can be enhanced: 1. The service is not that much, not reaching the 5 stars level. 2. The breakfast is simple, can beat the 2 stars hotels’ breakfast. 3. The hygienic level of the room is not that perfect. The overall experience is poor and 2 out of 5

The hotel is beautiful, has a nice beach and pools. The rooms are spacious and clean and have a beautiful sea view. Furthermore the dinner at the Lebanese restaurant was delightful. We were served by a very kind waiter Fadel.

We stayed at this hotel with a large group for a tour in Jordan, so we sleept only one night there. But we could have stayed more longer. It was the perfect hotel after spending two days in the desert of Wadi Rum. Very nice, great rooms, huge pool area and just very nice to relax. In the evening we had a very tasty dinner with very good service. Fadel was really accommodating and funny, but not too pushy. The food was also very very good! There was a large selection, that i couldn't try everything. All around a great visit! 100% Recommendation!

From the moment I walked through the hotel doors, all I saw were the warm smiles of the staff. Upon checking in, the reception person gave me the room I previously occupied that had a beautiful sea view. The room service and house cleaning staff always warm and smiling. The restaurant staff from the manager to the chefs to the waitresses radiant warmth and smiles. My breakfast table is always ready with my coffee, juice and water. All this without asking for it. It is the restaurant staff headed by Mohammad who pay attention to the little details that make my experience wonderful always. As for the trainings, I am always left speechless, the hospitality and smiles and wonderful. Mahdi is the master at making our experience in trainings perfect and works his magic in making sure we are comfortable.

We love coming at the pool. Our daughter gets entertained with Luigi and Mo’s team - playing darts, having games in the children, and also getting - cotton candy at the end! We love the evening show they perform also, and pften we are staying on the beach to listen to the music and see the show they put together with passion. So great!

Our child took ill and the entire hotel rallied to help her, organizing trips to the hospital with the hotel shuttle in the the middle of the night, ensuring we had food when we couldn’t come to breakfast, extending our checkout despite a busy time in the season. It seemed that each member of the staff knew about our baby girl. Oh and the play area and kid’s pool is first rate! Thank you, Faten!!! We will be back

This hotel resort was a delight and provided a relaxing and restorative experience for this weary travelled. The views from the rooms and from the beach are spectacular. The quality of the rooms and the service is top notch, as was the musical entertainment from the lounge. All around, five stars. I’ll look forward to staying there again when next in Aqaba.

I stayed at the hotel for Christmas eve for 3 days in 2018. It's really such a spacious room, excellent room services and so friendly staff. The breakfast buffet so variable ( I dare you to count how many countries' famous food included in the buffet). What I liked the most is I asked one of the staff to let me light the Christmas's candles at the hotel entrance. ^.^

Yesterday we spent an incredible day with my friends, we always choose to go to this hotel because we really enjoy the activities!! animation team are very friendly and funny. constantly active with their activities and shows at night. they do a good job!! Everything about the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel checked with us everyday to say that everything is as we expected. I stayed there for 4 nights with my wife and 2 kids. We all enjoyed our stay including the food , hotel facilities and the room. My only complaint is regarding the room because it had no actual balcony. But I take the blame in that because I should have checked with the hotel first. Highly recommend.

Good hotel however not so well maintained. good private beach. The breakfast was quite boring after a couple of days.

Everything about this place is perfect. The staff are very welcoming,friendly and attentive. They focus on the small details that make your stay more pleasurable. Everything is clean and well put together. Overall, an amazing place for a peaceful vacation.

Great staff who could not do enough for you. Lovely room with great amenities. Resort was well kept and the pools, beach and play area were fantastic for relaxing and to keep our little boy entertained. Would definitely return!

Staff ….. Staff …. Staff … Every single person was really nice and helpful. For me reception is 50% of satisfaction, and it seems that they were trained really well. The rooms are spacious and clean, the view was fantastic. The breakfast was versatile but the handling of dishes due to corona regulations caused long queues and dissatisfaction of some guests. The location is perfect, it is quiet and only a few minutes from the city center. By and large, our stay was really nice and I recommend it highly.

I had a great time in this resort, the staff were very hospitable indeed and made my stay very lovely. Rooms were well organized and tidy and I had the most relaxing time here on the beach. As a solo female traveller, Jordan can be slightly challenging sometimes but staying in this hotel was very lovely and made my vacation simply great.
