Nice clean hotel at a good price. Kind staff. The pool is a few stairs below the rooftop and not on the rooftop as the original photos made by the hotel might suggest. That is actually good because when it is windy, and it can be really windy, it cannot blow over the pool. The rooftop is a very nice place at night.

Our Favorite Hotel Group and I will always recommend it. Nice view, Very Good location with all shopping and restaurants around. Warm welcoming as usual from receptionist with warm delicious double tree special cookies. I have some points to be considered. Electricity outlets in the room should be increased in numbers. The hotel toilets should has a hose 🙃!! Especially in the Middle East.

Absolutely the best location in Downtown Aqaba. Restaurants and shops are everywhere in the neighborhood. Warm welcome with DoubleTree traditional warm cookies. We were upgraded to a Deluxe room which was so spacious and clean. Helpful front desk staff. There are few comments which didn't spoil our stay. Electricity outlets in the room should be in more convenient locations and should be increased in numbers. Air-Conditioners are a bit weak!! In a middle eastern hotel I was expecting a hose in the toilets!! 😁 Would definitely recommend this place for future stays!!

Nice rooftop in Aqaba. I believe it is the only one according to my research. Staff was friendly. Prices are affordable. They didn't have some drinks on the menu. The view is good. Prepare a jacket because they don't have blankets and not all the heaters were working... Overall a good experience. You feel good and safe. People are respectful in here. Great option if you want to run away from the street harassment.. Would definitely come back

Mixed Feelings - Great Service but Disappointing Room Service I recently stayed at the hotel that offered excellent service and had a beautiful room with a stunning view of the sunset over the sea and a lovely pool. The price and overall services were worth 4 stars, with one notable exception - the 24/7 room service. I decided to order a pizza, hoping to enjoy a relaxing evening in my room. Unfortunately, the pizza had a strange taste and texture, as if it was made with puff pastry. To make matters worse, shortly after taking my first bite, I became ill and had to rush to the bathroom. I spent the entire evening feeling unwell, which certainly wasn't what I had anticipated for my stay. The pizza was far too heavy to digest and left a negative impression on my dining experience. Upon checking out, I shared my feedback with the hotel staff, who apologized for the inconvenience. While the room service was a disappointment, the rest of the hotel was delightful, with a beautiful room and impressive facilities. It would be nice to see a better selection of slippers provided in the room for guests' comfort. Overall, I had a mixed experience during my stay, with the disappointing room service marring an otherwise lovely hotel experience. I hope that future guests will have a better dining experience than I did.

Amazing experience. Best people to stay with. So welcoming, So helpful. Each one ready to go above and beyond to help. Best part, their Smile that they attend you with - right from the gate keeper, to the receptionist, to the restaurant staff, to the spa team, to the bell boys, each one of them. Team Double Tree, you guys are awesome!!! Kudos! 👌👌👌👍🙏

Beautiful and clean room. We waited at the pool for our room to be ready and had drinks and they brought us the key when it was ready. Loved the free cookies and they let us have a box of them upon request

The hotel is very nice as were the rooms. There is a fantastic rooftop bar and lounge perfect for watching the sunset and relaxing in the evening. It is close to really good restaurant but what I underestimated was the ability to walk to the beach. While the sea is close in proximity, it is not a sandy beach. There is a shuttle to a fantastic beach club which is free and a 15 minute drive away. The food isn’t very good which is why I gave it a 4. The rooftop menu is limited and salmon was so dry it was inedible. The breakfast didn’t have a great variety and wasn’t stocked well enough for the amount of guests. Overall a nice stay but in the future I would opt for one of the resorts with direct beach access.

the breakfast was nice, hotel room very spacious. but the swimming pool is so tiny that i wouldn't be bothered to jump onto swim suit honestly. not to mention that it says that its an infinity pool which is not. but overall is ok.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Hotels Restaurant (Gusto) and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The waitresses especially Ellen and the rest of the staffs truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to assist. The check-in process was seamless, and the front desk staff was not only efficient but also took the time to provide me with information about the hotel's amenities and nearby attractions. The breakfast spread was delicious and offered a wide variety of options to cater to different preferences. What stood out, however, was the attentive service from the restaurant staff. They were not only prompt in taking orders and serving food, but they also took the time to engage in friendly conversations, making me feel like a valued guest. Overall, my stay at the Hilton Aqaba exceeded my expectations in every way. The exceptional staff, combined with the comfortable accommodations and delectable dining, made it a stay to remember. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a top-notch experience with outstanding service.

We liked the pool but my eight year old didn’t like the fact that she was not allowed in the bubble hot tub; perhaps a detail but the pool closes at 6pm- roof top bar is great

The rooms size is a bit smaller than expected. The standard is below par compared to other hilton hotels. Facilities in the room are also limited & not much option. Overall a good stay.

Reham the receptionist was very welcoming and did a good job explaining us about everything. The hotel was clean and close to everything. It was a great stay and I highly recommend people to stay here. Definitely will be back!

Amazing experience. apart from the lady on reception who need to smile when she see guest arrive to make them feel welcome. But all other staff from the bell boy to the management also the 7th floor staff the lady’s are all amazing. Cannot fault this hotel at all.

Thank you for your prompt reply despite that unfortunately I haven't stayed in your hotel. Dealing only with Security and Reception was professional. Few hours in Diwan were the best in our stay in Aqaba due the high standard, cool, professional and respected band as well as the excellent service although seats are extremely uncomfortable.

One of my favorite hotels in Aqaba, stayed there several times, great location, and the quality of service is consistently great. The checkin staff are well trained and welcoming. The welcome fruit plate and pastries waiting in the room is a fantastic touch. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable, and great views of the Red Sea. The Parking garage is conveniently next to the hotel.

The hotel is good, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. However, a major issue arose with the laundry service. Two "sports shirts" were mistakenly labeled as regular "shirts," resulting in a tripled price. This mislabeling was confirmed by one of the managers, yet the invoice was not corrected. Due to time constraints and without further resolution, we left the hotel with the inaccurate bill. While the financial impact was minimal, I prefer not to overpay on principle. The next day, I requested the retrieval of my laundry in the room, but upon my return in the evening, it had not been done, and it was too late to have them ready the next morning.

Travelled here with a large family in December - Alhumdullilah had an excellent experience - a lot of this was a result of how the staff treated us - Security, Receptionists, Waiters, Chefs etc were all extremely nice and looked after the whole family. Made me want to revisit Jordan to stay in the hotel - Would love to revisit one day InshAllah ❤️

Delicious cookies and great hospitality, staff are nice and free pick up to Aqaba airport to catch up flight. The staff offers me to help sending the post card when I already on my way to airport. Very nice

Had a great stay at the DoubleTree in Aqaba. Reham was very helpful upon check-in, and the entire staff was extremely attentive and professional. The free parking and valet service was very convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is excellent. The rooftop bar is great and the staff there, too, is amazing. The breakfast may have been one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever eaten. The spread was gigantic and delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here if in Aqaba!

Super clean, staff are so friendly and polite specially Areej. The location of the hotel is great (in the city center). Loved our stay there but did not like the breakfast, they don’t have variety of dishes. But in all cases I recommend this hotel.

Came in with food poisoning, barely walking and without reservation. Everything was take care off in the most carrying way. Grateful for everyone's input. Special thanks to managers on duty who came every hour to check my temperature and see how I was doing. On top of A+ services the quality of room carries the Hilton comfort. + room service did a great job

Stayed here 2 different times. Good location. Rooms are very spacious. I like the open terrace restaurant bar at top of the hotel (photos are taken there). Great view and good service. Breakfast is ok but still with some room for improvement.

Pros: easy parking, delicious cookies on arrival, location, kind staff Cons: incredibly loud room. I thought the window was open and it wasn’t; could hear car horns and even the music playing in cars, people talking, etc. was not able to be moved to an interior room because hotel was full. Windows need to be replaced at minimum to make all exterior rooms tolerable. bed was very squishy / lumpy

Wonderful staff who go the extra mile to make sure your stay is top notch. Lovely rooms, plentiful breakfast. The rooftop terrace is amazing. Nice pool, but not heated! Great to cool down in though. Location is ideal. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

The staff are very friendly and the hotel location is excellent right at the heart of the city. There is a public beach next to it (crowded but still nice). Other reviews mentioned the hotel is dated. Apparently the whole hotel has been fully renovated. It is now new and clean. We enjoyed our room and breakfast at a modern restaurant. Highly recommended!

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. very nice and quit place, Most of the front desk staff are friendly and helpful, the waitress and their manager are an amazing team. its located in an amazing location to walk to dinner, check out a couple galleries, and have drinks. It was great. I highly recommend this hotel

The location is excellent and easy to find. The Staff is very attentive, and friendly. The front desk processing is quick. The rooms themselves are starting to show their age (furniture, walls, etc). The bedding and room were clean, with excellent shower pressure. As previously mentioned in other reviews, the A/C seems unable to keep up with the outside temperature. The room was cooled down, but not enough. The on-site restaurant has excellent food. There was one drawback, the amenities were lacking, but called the front desk to get with Housekeeping, and got it taken care of. Overall experience was excellent.

The service in the Hotel was excellent. The staff is very attentive. In the night local drivers love to honk in their cars' horns. Unfortunately we could clearly hear it in our room. Bring earplugs.

Much improved from a few years ago, rooms have been refreshed as have the public areas. Got a nice room with a seaview, great for watching the sunset. Good central location in Aqaba, handy for shops restaurants and the market areas. Also good value compared to other major chain hotels in Aqaba.

To begin with the good side of the hotel the reception and the staff are very friendly and welcoming other than that the room is dirty the bathroom is full of hair and the pillows were covered with blood!!!!!!!! Yes blood our room is 426 Never coming bag again they changed it directly when we told them but it was shocking not one pillow 2 pillows were coverd in blood 🤢🤢

Great Hotel. Rooms are spacious, Food is good and the hotel is clean. Close to down-town but not next to the beach. There are shuttles with reasonable cost to a private beach.

The hotel is nice with clean and tidy room. In the heart of city so u can go around and so close with the beach. The check in so smooth and fast, they inform about anything clearly and carefully. The service was nice specially the room service and breakfast staff. The rooftop just amazing, with superb item and entertainment. But got one problem that little bit ruin my moment. Was there for my birthday, and ended up order some brownies and wine. I got my candle by myself and trying to ask for lighter or matches. Was call the front desk 3 times, but nobody came to give it. Waiting almost 2 hours till the ice cream on the brownies totally melted. Was a bit upset with that. Need to fix the problem of following up the request so there will not be bigger complain. But overall its worth it to stay here.

On arrival, our luggage was all swiftly removed and car taken for parking in Hotel car park. The security staff always smiling and very welcoming every time. At check in Jamal was so very helpful, very friendly and a charming gentleman. Both our rooms were very nice and whilst one had Sunrise the other Sunset view. All breakfast staff, including Chef Muhammad, Roxanne, Grace, were always smiling and provided excellent experience, including Muhannad the Manager. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. The Diwan on 7th Floor was yet another beautiful experience all the staff including Rose, Kasisslyn and Chef Jeff provided an excellent service 👏 an unforgettable and memorable time. Overall this hotel staff and service went far beyond our expectations, having stayed at Hilton Hotels in over 45 Countries worldwide. This was a lifetime experience to remember. Well done and congratulations to the GM Mr Darwish, from all our family, from both the rooms from the bottom of our hearts. Shah family.

Great Hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. Service was great and all the staff members were very nice. Especially receptionist Reham treated us very kind, we could check in a few hours earlier without extra charge.

  • 2/5 Rhys T. 1 year ago on Google
Great location in the town area and close to the beach and sights. Nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff. However not quite attentive to our special request for a quieter room and putting both rooms next to each other and on the highest floor we were given level 2 and facing into busy streets. It doesn't pay to book early as you would need to check in early or on time to avoid being disappointed with the rooms given. Probably should consider other options in the area.

Double Tree Hilton. Our rooms double bed , comfortable. The rooms are starting to look tired. Old wobbly furniture , needs upgrading. Bed was comfortable , room very dusty in areas. Very nice pool area with outside jacuzzi. Very nice roof terrace to relax in the evenings. Staff very good. Breakfast also good.
