That hotel is one of the top class hotels I visited starting with the rooms, the nice people in there and the most amazing food I've tried there. Their food options are wide and international that match all desires. The egg Benedict there is out of this planet, it is heavenish! The location is in the middle of the city and only by walking u can reach everything. An excellent choice for staying in Aqaba!

Amazing 5-star service and experience. The staff went over and beyond for us. We enjoyed the pool and spa, and were happy with the complimentary water park acces (nearby) and beach club. The hotel is beautifully designed and the rooms have high quality feel. Overall, this was a perfect hotel and experience to round up our Jordan vacation. Thanks to the staff!

Edit later: Management followed up and were extremely courteous, acknowledged the issues, and were very polite and much helpful, and promised to resolve all issues that were faced, which were minor. Over all, rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast collection is excellent, pools are clean and heated Staff are very friendly. Will come back again :)

We went for our honeymoon for 3 nights. As soon as we walked in the service was amazing, from the attention to detail to the friendly staff. It was the perfect ending to our holiday, our room had a lovely view and house keeping decorated our room for us with a cake and happy honeymoon message ♥️ Loved it! Cannot fault the hotel, had 3 beaches and 2/3 pools, our favorite beach was the beach club we spent most of our days there. Breakfast was amazing every morning, we checked out early morning and they even made us a pack lunch for the road on request. Would definitely recommend this hotel!!! Definitely lives up to the 5 ⭐️ the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Will be back for sure.

This is a magical hotel. The rooms and services are impeccable. But most importantly what makes this hotel a stunning place is the genuine warmth of its staff. They learned our names, knew our room numbers (we had three) by heart, and made sure every moment of our two night stay was memorable. And all this majestically conducted by the maestro GM of the property, Pedro, who saw to (and anticipated) our every need as if we were family. He was particularly mindful of my elderly father and his needs. He put on a master class of hosting that every hotel GM should take. We are enormously grateful and will be back.

I don't even know where to begin. We traveled to Jordan with our 3 children for a 3 night stay. After some work, I was able to find the email address of the concierge (should be easier to find). Abdallah responded to my email promptly, and was exceedingly gracious in responding to my myriad questions and requests. He arranged our visas, had someone meet us at the border (BIG HELP), arranged the same driver for the duration of our trip, arranged tours of Petra and Wadi Rum, snorkeling in the Red Sea, etc. Everything was completed to perfection. The hotel is beautiful, the staff very kind and helpful, and the location was an easy walk into town. The rooms are gorgeous, very clean, and spacious. The views are stunning. The food was very good (and there was a lot of it!). We were sad to leave. We will definitely return and look forward to our next stay.

Spectacular experience. Got an upgrade to a wonderful suite overlooking the ocean. Excellent restaurants - esp breakfast was a bliss. Pool superb. Yet the best was the highly accommodating, friendly and professional service. Special recognition goes to Karina, Ghaith, Rahman and Riesta - the hotel is very fortunate to have such a great team!!

The atmosphere and rooms were perfect. The beach is private and clean while the pool was very nicely positioned next to a bar. The room was amazing and bed was one of the best I've slept on. I was very impressed with the breakfast as well and is one of the top 5 breakfasts I've had at a hotel. The only slight negative was there was no introduction to the amentities at check in however my group found our way. Excellent stay and phenomenal place.

Excellent facilities and extremely good services provided by all staff but specially by Pedro, Karen and Omar. Hotel is very clean, rooms are big with nice views and nice furniture, gym facilities were really complete, all that you can ask from a Hotel! Everybody was kind, smiling and welcoming, good and fast check in service, and unbeatable quality vs price relationship I would repeat with no doubt if I had the chance! Totally worth it!

Breathtaking views, gorgeous beaches, lovely pools, wonderful ambiance, spacious, comfortable beds and rooms. The location is perfect for walking to downtown or catching a cab and is only 12 min away from the local airport. Staff are very helpful, and if you don't want to leave the resort at all, you don't have to! Perfect place to literally lose yourself in sand and water and regenerate! Highly recommend!

Not only was the property beautiful and well suited for family fun, but the attention to detail, service and accommodations were spectacular. We particularly enjoyed the personal touch we received from the hotel to help us celebrate a special occasion. Karen was always available to help make sure our family enjoyed our time during our celebration and was always available to make arrangements on and off the property throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the beach club and the kids club activities!

One of my best hotel experiences ever. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times, and every time I visit, I get the best possible experience. Their facilities are good. Their food is top-class, and the city is within walking distance. Parking is easy, too.

Can not go wrong with this hotel! Beautiful beaches on lagoon and ocean sides, large pools, smiling staff always willing to help and great restaurants! Centrally located for walking or catching a cab, but also great if you just want to relax and wind down for a few days.

A beautiful and luxury hotel!! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would definitely do so! My family and I stayed at the Al Manara hotel while in Aqaba. From check in to check out, everything was perfect! We were greeted by a wonderful group of staff upon arrival and everyone was so welcoming and so helpful. A big THANK YOU to Mr.Suhaib for going above and beyond and for making our stay extra pleasant and comfortable!! Breakfast was delicious and there was a so many options to choose from. Mr. Mahmoud at the restaurant was very helpful and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed…Thank you to Mahmoud! Can’t wait to come back again!

The staff is very helpful, great breakfast and cappuccino, outstanding restaurants and a very tasteful lobby and decoration. Wonderful pol area and even beach access! We enjoyed this hotel so much.

I will never return to this hotel. My worst experience ever. Rooms are small. All. We arrived with 2 children (4,6) and no extra bad waited for us. We had to call the desk few times to keep hearing "few minutes" then 90 minutes after 1 bad came. Other child had to sleep with us. Other friends waited until 12:00 pm to hear "oh sorry cribs finished 3 hours ago". And booking had number and ages of all children. Rooms are not always cleaned. Some days yes some days not . Depends... We arrived one day to sleep at 15:00 from the pool to find out they did not clean the room, and we have no soap to shower. When arriving to the hotel they scan language and take all drinks and food brought from home. The food in the hotel is good. Breakfast is just ok. Nothing more. Kids entertainment room very low in activity. The pool is small but nice, and private small beach access. Overall very simple hotel, service is also ok, they try but they have strange rules. Not a clean hotel, when left the room i found other people's things under the couch. Electricity in the room: some worked and some not. Very low maintenance around the hotel. Coffee in the room is very low. Coffee mugs and spoons are not clean. Espresso machine but only 1 capsule available....

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly warm staff, and a beautiful room. The facilities were top-notch (very clean) and the location was perfect for exploring the city walking. Worth mentioning the lovely Mohamad who served us the best arabic coffee, and the fantastic FRESH breakfast each morning, I would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at the Al Manara hotel in Aqaba, Jordan, as a couple, was truly remarkable. The stunning ambiance, exceptional service, exquisite culinary offerings, spacious rooms, diverse dining choices, and an outstanding breakfast made our visit unforgettable. Service: 5/5 The service at Al Manara was impeccable. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness went above and beyond, making us feel like valued guests throughout our stay. Accommodation: 5/5 Our suite was spacious and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable atmosphere with beautiful views, although some amenities could use a modern update. Dining: 5/5 The culinary offerings were exceptional, with a wide range of dinner choices featuring different cuisines, each dish was of outstanding quality and presentation. Breakfast: 5/5 The breakfast was a highlight of our stay, offering an impressive variety of options from fresh fruits to hot dishes prepared to perfection. Stunning stay at Al Manara while in Aqaba. The staff were so wonderful, welcoming and friendly. Nothing was a bother for them at all. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, loved waking up to look out over the lagoon. The breakfast was also great with so much variety! Loved sitting either by the pool on at the beach and relaxing. Definitely stay here if in Aqaba.

A stunning place to stay at in Aqaba. The room was very spacious and the staff were amazing. I enjoyed the pool and the beach. Had an amazing club sandwich at the pool bar. Happy hour was great too trying their signature cocktails. Thank you to our butler Karen for the nice welcome and personalised gifts in the room!!! They were great - felt very spoiled; the perfect souvenir 👌🏻 . The hotel has a very secure entrance and they always check people walking in. It’s also close to Fountain Mall. We walked over a couple of times and had great coffee at La Barista. It’s also a short walk to the main beach area where the Aqaba Castle is and the flag, which is very impressive. I’m glad we added breakfast on check-in (it’s cheaper than if you go eat and charge back to your room later), there are lots of options to choose from. The hostess was amazing too, very energetic and friendly.

Beautiful, calm, and luxurious hotel by Marriott Bonvoy. It’s great for leisure and relaxation. It’s provided with a spa, swimming pool, lagoon, and a private beach. Many booking variations for solo, couples, and family offering villas as well with private garden. The breakfast buffet is varied and all fresh! Lovely and helpful staff. They offer two restaurants Manara and Levant.

We only spent one night at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful . The rooms were nice however not very clean. The tv was so dirty , I had to wipe the screen so the kids could watch a program. The beach was really nice , but unfortunately we all sustained injuries due to stones, coral reefs- mine was the worst bruise and a deep cut sustained while swimming. My foot is still swollen and painful. Morning breakfast was good however no gluten free bread. There were muffins and a very sweet rice cake - I was told it was bread. In contrast , other hotels offer a proper gluten free pitta . Not sure why not this hotel? The pool too tiny . For kids more than adults. The other pool is a long walk and a water taxi journey. Not really practical with kids in the hear. Overall nice hotel , but due to the beach injuries, very unlikely will come back.

Best Marriott in the world, hands down? It’s almost like they’re remaking Aqaba in the process of developing this place. It’s massive but still feels like a normal hotel. Service is incredible. Feels more like a Ritz in that regard. Staff is just ridiculously kind and attentive and responsive. We got upgraded to a villa, which has its own pool. Just amazing! The locals all call it the best hotel in Aqaba, FWIW. Food is also ridiculous. They have an epic high end restaurant here and the smaller one is solid too. Can’t say enough.

Incredible amenities, great breakfast buffet and poolside lunch. Staff is super helpful and professional. Rooms are gorgeous, clean, with incredible views of the Red Sea (or an inlet which is just as beautiful). Great experience would stay there again.

Very nice room in a good location. The hotel overall was very nice and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The Levantin restaurant was pretty good , with excellent service. The hotel was only about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Couple of minor issues: the terrace door was broken, would not lock. There is an LED thermostat in the room; but it was quite bright at night. The food from the terrace bar was not very good. Breakfast is expensive.

I had a wonderful experience at Al Manara. Everything was great from start to finish. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly and always checking if we were comfortable with our stay. The room was very clean and spacious with a lagoon sea view and the amenities were very clean. The breakfast buffet had a variety of great quality and tasty food. A Special thank you to Mr Emad and Mr Ahmed for their amazing hospitality.

We had a wonderful experience at the Al Manara. All staff from check in to cleaning were incredibly helpful and the amenities were great! The rooms were wonderful and clean with a great lagoon balcony view. It was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday and anniversary.

Stylish, Luxury hotel with direct beach access. Rooms are super, staff is very kind and helpful. You are served at all places in the hotel. When you are at the nice big beach of the hotel you just ask for what you need. For example: a towel, a sunbed, a jetski, a drink, ... and everything will be provided. I am always traveling on a tight budget, but I needed o make an exception here, because it was so well located an beautiful. It is pricy, but you really feel like a king. The inner city is just 10 minutes walk from the hotel where you can find many good places to enjoy the local vibe and eat out. Go for the fresh pressed juices when you arrive for an immune boost.

This is a new property so it still has that fresh hotel shine. Our room was large and comfortable and the hotel staff were great and helped us with arranging Jet Skis. The outdoor pool is where this place lost a star. There was no toilet paper in the women's washrooms beside the pool and the steak sandwich at the pool bar was short on steak. We only spent a half day by the pool and went over to the Saraya Beach Club the following day. The Beach Club is fantastic and if we were to come back, we'd spend all our pool/beach time there.

Absolutely enjoyed every bit of staying here. Not only was the general manager Pedro, incredibly accommodating, as was each and every one of the staff members here. Everyone made sure our stay was not only comfortable, but enjoyable as well. The cleanliness of this establishment was on 10. The food was delicious. The rooms are beautiful. Incredibly secure. There’s multiple pools, beautiful water view, an accommodating children’s area, the room service for not only food, but for each need as well (kitchen, extra bed/additional blankets, etc) was very prompt and always friendly, and available at all hours. I will be returning, hopefully soon! I love this place and would recommend it to any couple, family, or individual looking to enjoy their stay in Aqaba. An additional thanks to the manager Issa, for taking special care of our family and making sure we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. See you next time! —Marouf Family

One of the best hotels I've been to. I can't wait for a chance to go back. I felt like the queen! We all did! The service couldn't be better. I almost felt like maybe they thought I was someone famous cause the service was just beyond. They have thought of everything - cold washcloths to put on your face next to the pool, with orange fragrance, a guy walking around spraying scented mist on you, fresh pear slices on a stick and in ice, and so much more!! Don't miss it!

Not suitable for families No children activities Food was disaster , I tried both breakfast & dinner at main restaurant 70% of the staff rude & not welcoming Very expensive compared to the service & quality Too mush Miskitos in room No privacy in the penthouse Villa !!! Maintenance team crushed our pool twice without notice . However, I would like to thank Miraj for her efforts since she was so nice she tried her best to make our stay better

I slept at the Al Manara Hotel for 3 nights. A hotel that is great and very new, I was told that it is only 5 years old. The entire hotel staff was nice and welcoming from the reception to the last employee. The breakfast was excellent, very varied and the waiter service during breakfast was fantastic. Another plus is the hotel's new gym, it has high-end machines including towels and almost always bottles of water. Now for the less good things, there were some very strange incidents during the stay that I would have liked the hotel to pay attention to. During check-in, the luggage was taken from me by the concierge service, and in a strange way, I received them after an hour and a half and after I turned to the reception to ask what happened to them, interesting... It was also strange to me that every morning I had to chase the reception to have my room cleaned as usual, probably in hotels 5 stars, there was a day when my room was cleaned at 4:00 pm in the afternoon sucks…. The last thing that bothered me was that the hotel's facilities were not always maintained, it was a shame to enter the gym one evening and see that there were no drink bottles at all and the gym was full of empty bottles scattered everywhere, it seemed as if no one came in to maintain it for a good few hours plus The alcohol prices here don't make sense, 8 Jordanian dinars for a 330ml bottle of beer, It's more than $10. The bottom line is that the hotel is really good, pleasant staff and tremendous potential. But if you are wondering why I put a 4 star rating in the review and not 5 these are the reasons.

Beautiful hotel with perfect location and facilities! The swimming pools are very good for kids and breakfast is very good! The hotel employees are very nice, but the service is fine. Sometimes you need to ask for things more than once and twice, they forget.

  • 5/5 Julie H. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel definitely lives up to its 5 stars. We stayed for 4 nights in November and really enjoyed it - the rooms, pool and beaches are all top notch and the gym was seemingly brand new and amazingly well-equipped. The food at the buffet dinner was also really good. The service was generally very good but they need more waitstaff at the Lebanese restaurant - we arrived on the early side and the service was really good at first but soon we felt like we were forgotten for awhile as there was seemingly only one person waiting on 10ish table. By the time we got his attention, we were tired and decided to pass on dessert - disappointing as it looked really tasty! Overall, the rest of our stay was fantastic and I would definitely recommend this hotel if you visit Aqaba.

One of my all time favorite Marriott properties. Beautiful rooms. Cozy beds. Amazing lobby, pool, and beachfront. But most importantly all of the hotel staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Would highly recommend if staying in Aqaba!

We spent 3 nights with our 1 yr old daughter. The entire staff was fantastic, especially Fadi at breakfast. He really went out of his way to make everything easy for us with a toddler. ( Only "complaint" and it's just being picky... But this is the only 5 star hotel we've ever stayed in that did not offer some sort of welcome drink and /or welcome amenity in room.) The facilities were really nice with great pools and beaches Highly recommend this property

What a wonderful hotel. All the staff are so helpful and curtious. The amminities are well thought out. The rooms as well. Lunch and dinners are very tasty and comforting. Breakfast a little less, but loved the eggs...

The Al Manara Hotel in Aqaba, Jordan is in my top 10. We are already the third time here and happy again. Perfect communication with the butler. My24 without problems. Upgrade to a wonderful suite. Perfect breakfast. Great private beach. Walking distance to the old town. Excellent staff. Traveling is a real pleasure here.

These people are so kind and welcoming. They ask us all the time if everything is OK and they are so prompt with everything you need. We just left and Ahmad even brought us water to have on the road because we are going on a trip to Wadi Rum. One thing that is amazing and I have to mention is that we forgot our RayBan Glasses at the pool yesterday and this morning they were exactly in the same place, untouched. A place where all the people offer amazing services.
