Old, extremely dirty, dingy, torn curtains, broken bed, no lock on the door, yellow water in the sink and the shower, questionable food, hallways like from the horror movie. Receptionist was exceptionally nice and professional, but that doesn't nearly enough make up for this horrible experience.

Old and dingy place, dirty furnitures, not even a proper lock on the door. The hotel is quite old and it shows, e.g. the walls and the AC system were very old and not in a good way (vanished paint and cracks) Windows were dirty. We encoutered problems with wall plugs, the wifi did not work, neither the electric kettler (there is kind of no point to serve a nescafe in the hotel room if you do not have proper equipment to prepare one cup). Yellow patches in the shower walls and floors (which tells that the staff don't clean he bathroom properly). There was also somewhat unqualified drainage in a shower base so the water spills a lot when you take a shower. The breakfast was VERY poor, only vegetables they served were cucumbers and tomatoes, no fruits at all. The juice and coffee were terrible. I saw the kitchen there and the staff there and it seemed rather chaotic. The cooks and waiters were continuosly rushing everywhere but they could not respond to our very reasonable requests for bread or spoons. Elevators don't work properly and it stops randomly to floors and suddenly goes back down for no reason. So it's faster to use stairs instead of an elevator. Receptionist and other staff were nice and professional, but it does not take away all the big problems that the hotel does have. My advise is that if you want to stay in a decent 3-star hotel I recommend you to NOT choose this place.

An absolute disaster of a hotel, definitely not recommended. The rooms are VERY disgusting, specially the bed and toilet. The toilet was broken as well, even the hallway was stinky and dirty.

I recently stayed at the Mina Hotel in Aqaba from June 22nd to June 23rd. Overall, my experience at the hotel was fantastic, the service provided by the hotel staff was truly exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome. The front desk staff (In particular Mohammad bani Atta and Raghad) went above and beyond to assist with check-in and answer any questions I had throughout my stay. The hotel's location was excellent. It was conveniently situated within walking distance of popular attractions and restaurants. In conclusion, my stay was excellent. I would gladly choose to stay at this hotel again in the future.

We have arrived to this hotel with a group of people who bought this tour through the travel agency but they wouldn't tell us which hotel we will be staying in Aqaba and now I understand why they didn't inform us , if we only knew where we were going to stay non of us probably would have stayed there. It was nightmare!!! Health hazard, dirty, dirty , dirty!!!!!! Blocked drainage in a shower base, water spills ever where, mould , dust , sticky surfaces, we asked for bed linen to be changed on our arrival as we didn't think they were changed!!!! Quality of the food was very average and the worst was extremely dirty air conditioning units in dinning area with water leaking on the floor. Honestly we were scared for our health and didn't want to think what was the kitchen like!!! Staff in dinning area were polite. If all this wasn't enough on the first day of our stay in this hotel we went to the swimming pool for 20 minuts leaving our handbags in the room and our some of our money was stolen , quite substantial amount at least for us . As we have learned later other people were robbed too. We have reported this incydent to the manager and demented the refund of stolen money, thanks God we were successful in getting them back but it caused us a lot of unnecessary stress, we were on holidays after all!!!! What an experience!!! So may advise is if you don't want to ruin your holidays avoid this place at any cost!!!

Worst experience ever, after having travelled in quite some countries ... We have booked and prepaid for a room there, via booking.com. When we arrived at 18:30 they said that there was no room available for us and that we had to find accommodation on our own, even though they never contacted us to inform us that there was no room available and in booking.com our reservation was still appearing as confirmed. They claimed that this was booking.com mistake, but it was clear that their story did not hold up. On top of that, the person in charge was impolite, even saying "get us to the court for that if you want, you are not gonna win", simply counting on the fact that we were from abroad. After a lot of discussion and nerves from our side, they sent us in another hotel, belonging in the same group of hotels, saying it was even better and more expensive... The hotel was AWFUL, super dirty room, no toilet paper, no telephone to reach the reception, the fridge was loosing water and our stuff got wet. The room was in no position to be rented to anyone and was definitely way cheaper than the one we had already paid for. People, just stay away from Mina hotel.

Update: the next day they returned me the full booking fees. I'm writing this review now from my room in this hotel using my mobile internet, not because there is no internet, but because there's no ELECTRICITY!!! So I'll briefly mention the points, of one of my worst experience ever in the hotels: 1. The reception guy was very unprofessional, and not welcoming at all. 2. At around 10:00 pm I came to the hotel finding the electricity is off (power was cut off just on the hotel building) since I don't know when, and the tourism police is here trying to solve it (in picture below). 3. Yesterday, there was no water (I just arrived today, and didn't know that before I check in). 4. The room is very dirty and very much dusty. 5. A/C, lights and room's for need maintenance (very old systems) 6. The funniest and most embarrassing: They take 5 JD as "key insurance" and give it to you back when you return the key🤣, it seems like the key is the most valuable thing in the room! 7. The receptionist lady was very rude to the customers when they were trying to ask when the electricity comes and what to do now. I recommend just don't book here :(

This hotel is my worst experience in Jordan. It's old and dirty and breakfast is served in another hotel. The guy on reception was complicated and he didn't know how to find our reservation. We got separated beds although we booked king size bed.

Read everything about the hotel here: Available: (Sea view room with Balcony, swimming pool, WiFi , alcohol , and Breakfast) . All services and shops are close by No parking “usually it is hard to park . The room price is very good when you get a sea view room with balcony + swimming pool + breakfast. Breakfast is a a bit poor and not that delicious food. Room service is really poor and they always busy and you need to do it yourself or wait for your turn or to bring them with you on spot. In the room you can find TV, safe, central AC but you can’t control the temperature, hairdryer in the bathroom, shower box ,fridge but not that good. Swimming pool is good but almost 1.5 max depth and catch always around.

It's an average hotel.. Room is bit old, door needed effort closing and flush in bathroom was not working well. I went with group tour so had limited options. Staff in reception were really nice though and really helpful. Location is good, close to old market and public beach with many restaurants in vicinity.

Rooms were not clean, water leak coming from the air condition unit. The on duty manger was unhelpful and rude. The hotel is located in a very lively area of town and the breakfast buffet was very good.

I am very satisfied with the hotel. Very helpful staff and very good prices. The bathroom wasn't the best, there was some kind of leakage from the water tap. The room was very clean. There was a fridge but the button was broken and we couldn't control the temperature. On the TV there was only one English channel. Great location and it had nice view to the harbour. Not wheelchair accessible.
