Hostel

👍👍 One of the best hostel, which we found during our long journey. Biker friendly with safe parking. Phenomenal hospitality. Very clean rooms and toa. Chef Mohammed’s kitchen is a chapter for itself. Dir Bah’a has excellent senses how to run an enterprise. Would we stay there again? Absolutely yes. People often mention hostel, breakfast, friendly, stay, home, Hakaia, nice, great, Baha, Home,

I’ve been traveling for over a year and I’ve never felt at home as much as I have in this hostel. The staff are so helpful with everything from letting us wash our laundry for free to giving us extra breakfast if we’re still hungry to helping us plan our snorkeling tour. Literally anything we asked for the two brothers who run the hostel would go above and beyond to help us out. On top of that, there is air conditioning, a kitchen, a nice outdoor area and the beds are super comfy!! Definitely stay here during your time in acaba!

It's hard to put the love I experienced at Hakaia Home in words. It literally is as if you were staying at your best friend's place, that welcoming they are! It really is a little save haven and I'm super happy to have found that place! Thanks again for everything and until we meet again :)

A 'house full of stories' or full of 'hakaia' in Arabic. Baha and Mohamed run two super cozy hostels in Aqaba. On my journey from Belgium to Egypt through more than 10 countries, this is undoubtedly one of the highlights: A good price. Close to the center and yet out of the hustle and bustle. Small and cozy. Every effort is made to keep it tidy. And above all, super friendly. If I'm in Aqaba I will definitely go back!

I’m someone who only writes reviews when my overall experience was undoubtedly 5 stars. Hakaia Home is located in a quieter area of Aqaba, about 15 mins walk away from the town where Hakaia Community is. I went to see both and decided to base myself at Home as I really liked the relaxing homey vibe. Community has a fantastic co-working space (with AC now!) and I walked there almost everyday to work on the days I didn’t dive or have a short trip nearby. Baha’a and Mohammad are the best host you could find. They go above and beyond by giving you local information (“real” taxi fare and good restaurants for example) to organizing spontaneous trips and cooking for the guests sometimes. To any requests, they attend at a lighting speed. The hostel is well-maintained, very clean, and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was so filling I didn’t need to have lunch. During my 18 days (!), I never had an unpleasant experience. And I can tell you this because I stayed there long, but they work real hard to ensure the guests’ happiness. They really care.

There wasn't any single thing wrong with this hostel. The big heart and hospitality of the owner and his brother, the impeccable cleanliness of the whole hostel, the perfect location and amazing breakfast, the lovely cats.. What can I say? Everything was perfect and it was literally one of the best stay I have ever had during travelling and the best choice for Aqaba and my Jordan trip. I totally recommend this place if you wanna have an amazing stay in Aqaba!!

We came in Hakaia home for few days and stay much longer than we planed. In firsts days we met another backpackers here. Such amazing people. The owner of Hakaia cooked dinner vegetable soup and feed us. Which not include in options of hostel. Just from unbelievable hospitality of owners. Very very clean in hostel. Stuff do good cleaning every morning. Kitchen small but comfortable . Kitchen has everything that you need. Always hot water. Very comfortable beds, and you can have extra blanket if you need it. 24 hours per day hot tea in reception in termapot. My favorite spot in Hakaia home it is terrace. I spent here a lot of time on comfortable sofa and chairs under palm’s shade. The best in Hakaia home - it is Baha and Mohamed - the owners. They very helpful. The best hotels/hostels owners I ever met. And of course I dream to come back in Hakaia home.

My 1st stay in 2018. You'll find there a small hostel own by a family with such a nice atmosphere and nice owners. Baha'a and his brother Mohammed will do everything they can to help you. I really enjoyed my stay so much, than instead of visiting the rest of Jordan, I spend so many days in their place because I just love it. I traveled in lot of different places and countries and you'll never find an hostel like this, simple but so good. Feel everytime like being with family or meeting old friends! Don't hesitate and go there, you'll love it I'm sure!!! I came back in 2022 and I had a better stay than my 1st time because of coco, they had to reduce the hostel, so it's even more feeling like visiting friends from a long time. Everyday delicious breakfast, sometimes dinner with the owners. A lovely place to go and stay. One of the best experience and hostel I've been!!!! Shukran for everything again. Hope to see you in the future, Inch allah

Top drawer hostel experience. Cool space run by two great people - Mohammad and Baha. I was travelling along and it was my first time in Jordan. They were super flexible - gave me the choice of staying in either Hakaia Home or Hakaia Community - then gave recommendations for where to go and where to eat in the city, as well as hooking me up with a car rental and scuba diving. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The place is right in the center, near the bus station and run by two awesome brothers. They go above and beyond for every single guest. Staying there feels like being at home or being a part of a great community. The hostel is super clean, the beds are very comfy, the breakfast is great and the wifi is spot on. But most important are the brothers who make your stay as comfy as possible. They can help you out with just anything.

We have never felt as welcome as at Hakaia Home. Baha was an amazing host that made us feel like family father than guests. As soon as we arrived, Baha made us tea and a delicious breakfast. The same being the case the day after where he, though we had to leave early, woke up before us and made a lovely breakfast. Baha is always around, ensuring that all guests feel welcome, curious to hear their stories and telling about his own experiences. Finally, upon leaving one night for Wadi Rum, Baha welcomed us and gave us the opportunity to shower and relax at the hostel - even though we did not stay there anymore. Overall, staying at Hakaia has been an experience in itself. We are so thankful for everything and truly recommend anyone to stay at Hakaia Home.

Really nice hostel, the staff is very helpful. They help us to organize a diving in aqaba and a tour to Wadi rum. Very nice breakfast, room is ok with fan and ac, really nice the part outside the hostel where you can take a sit and relax.

Baha‘a and his brother are the kindest persons you will meet on your trip in Jordan. Even before we arrived they supported us with tips about how to get there and were always reachable via Whatsapp. The Hostel itself is very cozy and comfortable with a nice patio in which you can relax in the shadow and a breakfast that is extremely delicious and made with love. They have all the connections and informations you need and will gladly help you with everything. Sadly they were severly compromised by Covid but do their best to build up again and are currently renovating. We loved staying there and would recommend it to anyone!!

I arrived at the hostel and immediately felt relaxed after a busy few days exploring Jordan. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Everything perfect, Wi-Fi no issues at all, breakfast was delicious 😋, bed is comfortable and the perfect place to enjoy good vibes and amazing hospitality. I can’t thank everyone enough and next time I’m in Jordan I will 100% be back. Best place in JORDAN! Thank you 😊 Helen

Hakaia Home was my start location for my trip around Jordan. Upon my arrival Baha was waiting for me and showed me around the hostel. Baha and his brother Mohammed were so helpful during my stay. I went to Wadi Rum, Amman and Petra, but this was definitely my favorite place to stay.

Hakaia Home meant home for me. The brothers, Bahaa and Mohammed, made us feel all the more welcome. They organized everything for us. They made breakfast for us. They provided us with towels or fresh linens when asked. Hakaia Home is a home to all travelers, with no restrictions. I was so glad I got to be a part of it.

Originally I booked nights, in the end I stayed 6. This place is great price-value deal. In the price of the room you have included breakfast that is quiet filling and similar meal in the city could cost you even 4 JD! The hostel is ran but 2 brothers who are always willing to help and provide you with useful information. Personally, I prefered Hakaia Home to Hakaia Community, because of its location 0very quiet, residential area. And just as it's name says it has much more home filling - dorms, common areas, kitchen and nice patio. Moreover, the place is very clean, they brand themselves as first hostel in Aqaba but it looks better than many hostels in Europe that I have been to. It is not located in the very city center but Aqaba is small you'll get everywhere walking within 10-15 mins. Highly recommended.

While walking in the streets of Aqaba, the name " hakaia community" caught my eye. Hakaia in arabic means " a story" . I met the owner, who generously offered us beverages and advice on where to go and what to visit in aqaba. He gave us very honest and diverse options. And then took us on a tour of the place. Loved the concept, the place is clean, the people of friendly. Will recommed thsi place and will definetly book there for ly next trip to Aqaba. Do not hesistate to pass by .

Hakaia home is a welcoming and well kept hostel. The top thing is the breakfast, you can have your food sat outside in a small lovely courtyard! Every morning one of the owners ask you if you fancy a omelet (seasoned with local spicies) and some flat bread, on the table always a big variety of jams and creams with which you can guarnish the hot bread. :) the environment is soo chill, the perfect place where to make new friends! I loved it!♡

(Translated by Google) It is a beautiful hostel for the hospitality and the operator. Through a courtyard that is used as a residence for the travelers, it comes to rainy talks at breakfast (included in the price) among the travelers and also with the friendly host or other locals. That is especially pleasant. In addition to flitting two young cats across the yard, a turtle and her child crawl through terrain. A nice to hang out. Das ist besonders angenehm. Neben flitzen zwei Junge Katzen über den Hof, eine Schildkröte und ihr Kind krabbeln durch Gelände. Ein schöner zum Abhängen.
