A nice spot to watch the Red sea, relax, watch nature, and get outdoors. Unfortunately, there is a very large amount of pollution and litter on the beach, meaning it is not safe for wildlife or humans who haven't taken the proper precautions. Be sure to keep your feet protected, otherwise loose shards of glass or fishing line may shorten a trip.

Stone floors hurt feet. Beach care is poor. Street vendors are not cooperative and expensive prices on the beach.

Public beach in Aqaba. Quite place to just sit and watch yhe ships crossing, sunset. You can see Palestine, Egypt from the distance.

Amazing place to enjoy the sand or have some swimming or sunbathe, but no food available here, only some cottages for soft drinks, water, some biscuits, chocolate, small snacks and nuts.

The water is full of gazlene and the place could be improved. ☹️

The place is quiet and beautiful, especially at sunset. However, there is exploitation by sellers

Beautiful public beach, perfect to swim and relax

Our family visited that beach two weeks ago. This beach is pretty close to the main cargo/industrial port. And there had been an oil spill from the ship just some weeks before we were there. There was no sign about that, and no person renting sunshades or chairs said anything. At the time, we didn't see that the pollution was still there. So we have let our kids play in the sand by the sea. At the end of the day, they had a lot of black spots on the skin that wouldn't come off. It took us more than an hour to clean our 5-years old kid with the baby oil. Besides, the beach was dirty with cigarette butts, broken plastic spoons, forks, etc. I instead recommend the next public beach (from Aqaba toward Saudia), next to Aqaba Marine Park Visitors Center. The beach is cleaner, and it has clean showers with hot water :-)

Not good for swimming the beach is full of stones and rocks, but if you want to set under amprella you have to bay 1 Jd /chair .
