Greetings. I stayed with the Beyond Wadi Rum crew. This is a group of brothers who collaborate to facilitate tourist accommodations and tours. I spent one night in the camp and one night in a cave. The camp was great. The breakfast and dinner buffets were filling and the meat and vegetables were cooked in the ground. The large dining hall was used for music and dancing in the evening, and the tents were comfortable. You can also take showers. But the cave was a real treat. The cave is more an enclave built into the side of a mountain with stone walls to protect from wind. We did campfire and played games in the desert. We also had a short star-gazing expedition. I recommend two days. One day for the truck tour to see the sights and one day to self-explore. The camp was happy to help arrange everything.

Very basic but comfy camp. We arrived in June, so the tents were incredibly hot, and although they say it gets cooler at night, the temperature didn't actually change that much. The toilets are external, divided males and females. As the camp was full, the water actually finished overnight and was not restored till the morning when the staff came back. Food was good and the entertainment too. They asked us to pay ½jod for fresh water and 5 for the narghilè

We took part in the “sleep under the stars” experience where we literally slept on a flat rock in the middle of the desert. Our guide, Hossin, prepared dinner with tea, mattresses, pillows, comforters, tents, and water. There’s no bathroom to use in this particular experience. This is one of the most amazing experience I’ve had: listening to the desert’s silence, watching the sunset, watching the “moon rise”, stargazing, seeing shooting stars, and more. Highly recommend!

I love the hospitality and service here. The camp was a wonderful place to stay and get an authentic experience of bedouin villages. 💕 be wary, there is no service or wi-fi here, and come ready to disconnect from the tech. 😊Amazing slow cooking demonstration for dinner, and fresh personal omlettes for breakfast.

Had the best time here and I can't wait to be back for more! Food, tours, and accommodation were all lovely. Camp was tidy and my hosts were the most friendly and welcoming! I cherish the time in serenity, the talks by the fire, and the adventures in the magical desert! Much love and many thanks again! See you soon next time~~

Great camp with amazing hosts. We spent two nights and Salman and his family took great care of us. The camp has a beautiful cliff behind it with panoramic views of the Wadi and great hiking routes around it. The food was great. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience in Beyond Wadi Rum camp. The camp is managed by real Bedouins. Big thanks to Ali (Abu Mohamed) and the driver Mr. Udah. They were very generous and stayed with us until they made sure that we slept and that we do not need anything. My 3 children enjoyed playing with Mohamed and kept great memories of our stay. We will surely dedicate one of our future trips to come back just to Beyond Wadi Rum camp.

The camp is in wadi rum protected area, closer to a view point (little bridge), staff was helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay there, took the jeep tour in day time in which the jeep tire got flat and it took driver 2 hours to bring tire and fix it. For that, the owner of the camp (Mr Salman) refunded us some of the paid amount. Food was good. You get to experience stargazing at night & sunset in the morning.

I had a great time at Wadi Rum and with Beyond Wadi Rum tours. They took great care of me. I did this trip solo and felt very safe. I was comfortable leaving my items at camp while I went out on my tours. The tents are comfortable. Bring warm clothes if you're going during the winter. The nights get cold and I highly recommend sitting out under the stars because the view is incredible. The food was good. My guide was knowledgeable about the area and personable. He seemed to genuinely care that I had a good experience. One tip: coming from the US, I'm used to set tour start times and needing to be certain places at a certain time. They are much more flexible and will work your tours around when you get there. That caused me some confusion so hopefully this can help someone else with their planning. I did a day and a half at Petra and then went to Wadi Rum. I had a hard time finding the guide because I went to the wrong parking lot, but I messaged them and they got me pointed in the right direction. Salman is the owner and he's really great! I enjoyed working with him. Another tip: credit card connectivity is 3G and we couldn't get my card to work. Fortunately, I was able to use my phone and the payment went through. Cash is better or pay online ahead of time if that's a possibility. Finally, I recommend adding on the camel ride. They appear to take good care of and care about their camels, so I felt good about the tour. And its fun to ride one!

We loved this place!!! We started with a half day Jeep tour and arrived the camp in the afternoon. The staff was incredibly friendly and nice! They made us delicious Bedouin BBQ dinner and nice meals. We were fed with many dishes. They also guided us where to see sunset, the stars, and the sunrise. It was so beautiful!!! The place is clean and comfortable. Don’t miss the chance to camp here!

I stayed at Beyond Wadi Rum Camp in the last week of November 2021 and it was an amazing experience! Our guide, Auda, was really informed, polite and kind, and so were all the staff at the base camp. Facilities were comfortable, with tiled floors in each sleeping camp. Communal showers and the bathroom were clean. Food was great too, highly recommended.

Terrific camp in Wadi Rum. Great location to get around to all the best locations, such as the big red sand dune, smaller one, sunset area, and it has a small arch that is accessible anytime, like sunrise or sunset. But it's ideal for sunrise. The food is delicious, with some small variety if you're staying more than a few nights. Coffee and tea are available any time. WiFi is only accessible by the main tent, and is a little spotty. The best part is the pick-and-choose tours. The owner comes by about every day/night, if you ever need to book something. All reasonable prices, better in larger groups of course. There are a bit of flies in certain spots, so could do with more cleaning from the staff. But they are friendly, and welcoming to requests, such as getting a hookah setup, or a fire going at night by the front of the camp. Just ask.

We had an incredible time at this camp. The tents are simple and equipped with a heater if it’s too cold. The bathrooms are solid too with warm water, functional toilets etc. The overall experience was awesome. The camp is in a beautiful location. I highly recommend the Jeep tour to explore the desert. The only feedback was the food was pretty bland and unseasoned.

Great camp with super helpful staff. Aawad was our driver and showed us all the great spots in the desert and prepared delicious lunch in the desert. We paid for 6h tour but we received 8h + free room upgrade :) At the end of our stay the owner got us some gifts, typical beduin clothing :). Highly recommend this camp, they will ensure you have a great time!!!!

The camp is authentic Bedouin no touristic so it is perfect if you like enjoying the desert and it’s silence, staff is fantastic and food as well. Salman, the manager, is a very nice person, he takes care of guests and also explain everything about Bedouin life. Great experience.

Super rewarding experience! Huge thanks to our tour guide "Dave" who brought us to all the places always with a smile helping me and my partner live a full experience. Besides he cooked for us the meal and made us enjoy the sunset with a cup of tea. The tents are good, and the meals of lunch and breakfast there are not the best but simply correct. Thank you so much! We recommend it, and if you want a full experience with a local friendly guy who knows every spot of Wadi Rum ask for Dave!

Beyond wadi rum is the best camp here. It has authentic culture and clean spaces. Salman bhai was extremely sweet and helpful. The staff is also very generous. They offered dinner and breakfast along with stay and organized a cute Bedouin party after dinner. Loved it. 100% recommended.

We stayed 2 nights there and booked for a 5 hours jeep tour. Everything was perfect, the location of the camp, the hosting, the food, watching the stars at the small arch. The owners of the camp are extremly friendly, they shared personal stroies about bedouin life. There is a gas heater, which was very useful in december! :) The tent was clean. I absolutely recommend this camp with a good heart!

Extremely friendly hosts, very adaptive and overall great people, our driver/tour guide Hussain was great, the tour he gave was wonderful, he even brought us water and some sweets even though it is the middle of the ramadan. The tents were clean and comfortable, there were heaters inside for the cold nights too. Overall very great stay, thank you!

We had a splendid two night stay at the Beyond Wadi Rum Camp! We were offered a free upgrade to a room with private sanitary, the room was very clean (and looked brandnew). The shared facilities were new and clean. Dinner and breakfast (with plenty of vegetarian options) were served in a main area where guests could join the staff in traditional bedouin dance routines. We did a full day desert jeep tour with our guide Awwad, who did an amazing job. Tip: wear your hiking shoes during the tour!

The "room" in the tents is basic and so far so good. The problem is hygiene: sheets, pillowcases and blankets are filthy. Full of dust and sand and definitely haven't been washed in a long time. The bathroom is separate from the rooms and basically you shower with either boiling water or freezing water. The Bedouins are not particularly kind, the food is below average compared to other places. Furthermore, the photos you see on the site are NOT realistic.
