Mohammed Mutlak camp is the best one in Wadi Rum and I visited many of them. 1/ the location deep in the protected area is just wonderful 2/ the tents, seating area around the fire, dining tent and winter tent with fire place are absolutely lovely 3/ everything is perfectly clean and comfortable 4/ Salem, the manager, is amazing and very welcoming person and his family and staff will make your stay in Wadi Rum unforgattable 5/ the food is simply perfect thanks to the excellent chef 6/ the Wadi Rum tours they provide will show you the real desert experience For me, visit of Wadi Rum and especially Mohammed Mutlak camp, is the highlight of Jordan!

Amazing experience, highly recommended. We had a little trouble finding the person that would take us here, but that is the only thing that wasn't outright perfect. The tents were great, the food was amazing, the staff was knowledgeable, helpful and incredibly friendly. We did a sunset camel ride which was expensive, but really enjoyable.

I can’t praise our accommodation in the desert camp enough! It was an amazing adventure, made possible by our great guide Fahad. He was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He showed us beautiful places. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, full of flavors and aromas. The camp was clean, comfortable and safe. Staying in the desert was the best experience we have ever had. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something unforgettable!

This experience was amazing. The best location in Wadi Rum, great beds, woodfire with tea at night before gazing at the stars, amazing food and the kindest staff. I did a jeep tour with Fahad, and it was amazing. I felt like a princess, being looked after very well. He cooked the best lunch on woodfire, showed me the nicest spots and was great company as well. I highly recommend this camp and going on tour with Fahad!

Before arriving at Wadi Rum Desert, always communication with Salem by whatsapp to explain everything before our arrival. Fahad, our guide, very kind to our group (we were 5, they grouped us there). Making stops, giving a short explanation and having good food in the middle of the desert. At the Camp, always attentive. A very full dinner, asking if we wanted more. Restroom with fire, shisha, tea all you want.. To sleep they left us more blankets due to the cold, being January, and the common bathrooms were very clean. One of the best experience I have ever had. Salem's father founded this camp 20+ years ago, this is why they have the best spot. Everyone is very friendly and helpful in the camp. And the day tour was amazing. Sayel showed us many pretty spots. The most special thing is that we saw a one day old baby camel and drunk fresh camel milk. Highly recommend this camp.

My favourite place in Wadi Rum. I’ve been over 3 times and I will continue to visit! No only do you get the best views of the sunset and the sunrise but Salem and everyone working at the camp are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious (lots of salads, vegetables, chicken, etc). Accommodations are clean and bed is comfy. Don’t look anywhere else. This is your place.

Highly recommended. Mohammed was nice, talkative, and kind. Food was so delicious. The camp has shower and a toilet which has been appreciated. The staff in general was nice. We had a private jeep tour with food included. We could see everything possible. Unforgettable experience of two nights in the desert.

You could not wish for a better camp than this one. Great dinner, excellent breakfast. All is buffet. Some meals for dinner were made in traditional beduin way, a barrel in the sand. Very juicy and tender. Location is perfect for both sunset and sunrise, with a big mountain in front of the camp just begging to be photographed. Two hills behind the camp are great to climb (scrambling experience required) for a view of the desert from above. Out of this world experience. All the camp staff, included Yusef the cook and Salem the manager were very knowledgeable, friendly and are true professionals at their job, but do it with their heart. Also great value for the price, so the experience and Mutlak camp is highly recommend! 👍

Ferris the camp manager and Yousuf the cook are an excellent team that will make your stay superb. The team of Bedouin guides are also exceptional. We did two Jeep tours a camel ride for the sunset and a hike of 3 hours thru the desert. All trips gave us a very unique and different experience in the desert! We can highly recommend this camp!

If you’re going to Wadi Rum you have to stay here! My partner and I had an incredible experience with them. The camp is in a great location - genuinely otherworldly views from the camp - and the room was really clean and tidy. The facilities were kept really clean throughout our stay too. The food was incredible and really authentic (we loved the sand oven) and there was wifi too! Our jeep tour was a real highlight and all thanks to Fahad! Overall, we were really well looked after and I think it’s highly likely that we’ll be back! Thank you so much.

One of the best camps to enjoy a authentic experience in Wadi Rum. The number of campsites in the area has become ridiculous and the difference in quality of service is huge between places. For an authentic campsite with simple bedouin-style rooms, this is probably the best campsite Wadi Rum. The food was so good. Service was perfect and very friendly staff. Toilets and rooms were exceptionally clean for a campsite surrounded by sand dunes. Highly recommended

We had an amazing time at Mohammed Mutlak Camp. It is very well located (beautiful spot to see the sunset), also staff who works there are very easy going and always up to help ))). We had an amazing dinner (the best food we tried) and ended the night watching the starts drinking tea with a bumfire next to us. During the day we got a full jeep trip around Wadi Rum and Susu the driver was the kindest person we have meet, he showed us the best spots, cooked for us in the middle of the desert and he was always attentive to everything we needed. We highly recomment Mohammed Mutlak Cam and definitely we will come back one day. Thank you for everything.

One of the best experience we ever made! We had the best time ever, even if it was just for one night. The place is so amazing and beautiful. We did the Jeep tour with Abu Fahad, he is the kindest, funniest and loverly person we ever meet! We cooked together in the middle of the desert and shared many stories. Furthermore he helped however he could, he become a friend in the first 2 hours. We miss him. As everyone of the camps stuff, they had been very kind, attentive and just amazing. We had an amazing experience with Mohammed Mutlak Camp and felt completely safe the whole time! Everything was well organised from the pick up from the parking space outside the desert, desert safari and drop off back at our car the next day! We also had the best experience with our guide Fahad - he truly made the time for us unforgettable and was so kind. 100% recommendable :)

As i spend two nights at the bedouin camp the location a very nice and quite place u have a view to the amazing moutains. Also as i am a vegetarian there good variety of food and they are freshly cooked Salam and the guys are really nice people. And if ur intrested in activities u can directly ask Salem the owner (Abou Maroun) and he will organize it for you in very good price. I took a private 4x4 around 40JD for 2,30hr. Cost is really good for one day including breakfast and dinner 25JD. Just be aware theres no internet there only for emergency u can use the Wifi

Really kind people with a lot of experience and hospitality. The food was amazing and there was a lot of variety and the tents are nice. Internet connection doesn't reach Wadi Rum very well, but it's a great opportunity to disconnect and have great talks by the fireplace drinking some tea. Thank you for the great experience!!

The entire team did a wonderful job making our Wadi Rum experience memorable. From the truck ride to the site to great food, campfire, tea and hospitality, the peace and freedom were tangible. The location was serene and secluded, and the host Mohammed and our personal guide Alex were just lovely and attentive. Definitely a great experience.

Unforgettable experience! Everyone there is super nice and the camp has everything you need - from a warm shower to phone chargers, while still maintaining the traditional look. We took the jeep tour and camel tour and both were fantastic.

Amazing camp! After you get your free van transport to the camp you will be greeted by a perfectly located tent city, including sleeping tents and community tents for relaxing and eating. The staff is friendly and helpful. They can help you organize a tour that fits your shedule, prices are fair for what you get. Visit the sunset from the rock behind it if you are there. The rock formations you can see from it are marvellous 🤩

Amazing experience! Very nice and welcoming staff - special mention to Salem, the manager and Yusuf, our guide. The camp and the bathrooms were always clean. The tent exceeded our expectations. The food was one of the best we had in Jordan! I recommend it 100%!!!!

We absolutely loved our experience here. All the people who work here are so kind, the camp has a very special feel and both the jeep and camel tour were well worth it. Its clean, safe for us 2 women travellers and friendly. It is a little more expensive than others but really really worth it, its definitely worth paying a bit more. Highly recommend !

The cabins are so cute! The staff are kind & the food authentic! We went in winter so, unfortunately, we were beyond cold! I imagine this would be idyllic in spring/summer!

We travelled as a group of four friends and we really enjoyed our stay and the interaction with our guide, exchanging cultural differences, his kindness and sense of humor. The incredible hospitality of the camp staff also made us feel very welcomed. The overall experience left an amazing impression on us and thanks to this Wadi Rum will for sure remain one of the best memories of our Jordan visit.
