Fabulous beach. For snorkeling and diving as well as sitting and watching the sunrise or sitting in the evening is really great.

The Aqaba Flagpole in Aqaba, Jordan is the 6th tallest free standing flagpole in the world at a height of 130 metres, after the 170 m Jeddah Flagpole, 165 m Dushanbe Flagpole, 162 m National Flagpole

The Arab Revolt Flag in Aqaba is a symbol of courage and unity. Its black, white, green, and red stripes represent the Arab people's struggle for independence. This historic flag flying in Aqaba evokes the spirit of the Arab Revolt, reminding us of the determination and sacrifices made in pursuit of freedom. Aqaba's display of this flag is a poignant reminder of the region's rich history and its ongoing significance.

Nothing special. It is a huge space with a huge flag in the middle. There is not much to do. It is a nice place to hang out in the evening but around 30000000 Jordanians knows about it so expect huge crowds during warm evenings, with children... a lot of children, playing foodbal going on bikes etc.

Big flag that you can see from almost anywhere in Aqaba. It's huge! Right next to the fortress. If you can then go up to it to see the shear side of it!

Huge, and I mean, HUGE flagpole and flag, marking the Arab Revolt. Very impressive to look up at. Worth a wander down to the waterside to see it.

Well it is certainly tall. But it has historical value because it embraces the flag of the Great Arab Revolt and is located near the house of the Leader of the Arab Revolution, Al Hussein Bin Ali. It is also the site where the first bullet of the Arab Revolt was shot. Each color represents a meaning with red symbolizing the blood of the martyrs, green for peace and sustainability, black signifies oppression, and white for the bright future. Standing at 130m, it is the sixth tallest unsupported flagpole in the world.
