👍👍 Great little place with some of the best falafels I had in Jordan. Went here twice and even got a takeaway order after our second visit because we were leaving the next day. It's that good and super affordable! The owner is super friendly and caring. Put this place on your list of restaurants to eat... 6/2021. Looking for a good cheap falafel place away from the main roads? This was it. There was easy parking on the other side of the road. The owner didn't speak much English and neither is the menu, but another customer translated for us (and you can guess from the title to get hummus, ful and falafels. They also have homemade ayran which is much more fermented/sour than the bottled stuff. I think they probably use a bit too much oil in some of the dishes (eg. topping the hummus and ful) but the meal overall was good. All this for 2 people cost only 4 JD.

We loved the hospitality, how the man treated us. Giving us a very good meze with tea, free water and a little taste of the local joghurt drink (maybe laban). For two of us it was all together 5 JOD.

Local, authentic restaurant with tasty traditional dishes. We had humus served with pieces of chickpeas and olive and a salad. All served with pita bread. Great price (2.5 JD, Nov 2022). Both for take away or dine in. Friendly and helpful staff.

Been in Aqaba for a couple days and have been here for each of them. Place is simple, cheap and the food is good. I’ve been the only tourist in here each time I’ve gone. Falafel is fresh and crisp. If I could bathe in their hummus I would.

Had hummus, falafel and fuul for breakfast for the 3 days we were in Aqaba. 100% recommend. Everything delicious and definitely the best fuul we ate in Jordan.

We were super hungry when we arrived in Aqaba and found Al-Basha restaurant on Google maps with good reviews so we directly went there to have a lunch. We got hommos dish, masabaha dish, salad dish, falafel dish and tea. We have been trying local foods in Jordan since a couple of days and all of the dishes we got in Al-Basha were the top quality with very reasonable price amongst the ones we tried so far. Anyone looking for a great food in Aqaba can visit Al-Basha without any hesitation. We will definitely visit it again.

First experience of a traditional jordan breakfast, and it is definitely worth it. Everything was fresh made, super cheap and MUCH way better than continental breakfast proposed in all hotels around.

Simple place, with simply the best falafel 🧆🥙 small falafels are excellent, but big falafel with spicy inside and sesame on top is just amazing. Complimented with a nice salad and great hummus. Reasonable price, helpful and interesting lovely owner who speaks besides English, Serbian and Croatian language.

We arrived to Jordan a week ago and had hummus every day. All of them was amazing but this one was the best! The locals eat here too, so should you. The owner was extremely kind and we paid a super fair price.

Great Local Experience! The menu is simple, Falafel, Hummus, Salad, Pita Bread. They also serve sweet tea and soured Joghurt Drink (didn't try it though). We went early in the evening (by local standards) and lots of locals were ordering Takeaway. We had walked by at 6pm and they weren't open for evening service however, and returned later on. As mentioned, there isn't much English spoken, and the menu is Arabic but the homemade falafel is worth trying! Cool photos of what I imagine to be old Aqaba hanging up. Very cool local restaurant! There is no toilet. Cash only- bring small bills. It was hard to change 20D note!

The staff is nice and really welcoming. Their falafel sandwich was super! It is so tasty and really worth of money. After finished the sandwich as dine-in, we ordered stuffed falafel for take away and it was also really yummy(a bit spicy which I like so much) Definitely a must when you‘re in Aqaba.

👍 They don't have hundreds of options in the menu but what they offer is good quality. 👍👍 I have to give this a 5/5 rating because I just think the 3,9 it has now is not enough. It may not be a fair way of rating but hear me out: This is a classic Jordanian diner, usually pretty busy, with a select amount of dishes and many people bustling about. No, it’s not a fine dining place and some...
