This restaurant is not a fancy one. They have no air conditioning so can get pretty uncomfortable eating here in summer. But the food is amazing, and the seafood is very fresh. The staff are friendly. It is not a touristy place, it is visited by more local people. Prawns, calamari, whole fish… fried or grilled. They serve it perfectly. One of my go to restaurants in Aqaba.

We had dinner here today. Lovely sea bass (JD12 per kilo) and three decent salads, with a plate of calamari and shrimp and two large bottles of water came to JD44. Fab to choose your own fish from the wide selection. Recommended.

My experience at Abu Bakr Restaurant and Fishery in Aqaba was disappointingly negative. Firstly, the wait time for food was excessively long, and the restaurant's cleanliness left much to be desired. The employees seemed disinterested in providing good customer service, and it was frustrating to have to place orders with multiple staff members. As for the food, while the spicy sea bream was passable, I cannot recommend the fried shrimp and calamari at all. They were far from satisfactory, making this restaurant a poor choice for seafood enthusiasts. Adding to the dissatisfaction was the high price tag, which didn't align with the overall quality of the dining experience. Based on my visit, I strongly discourage dining at Abu Bakr Restaurant and Fishery in Aqaba. There are better options available in the area for both service and seafood quality.

I came here based on a review on Google; I had grilled sea bream: the taste was very good, it is really tasty; I advise you to try it and it is also cheap. I bought a sea bream fish weighing 550 g. He grilled it and gave me bread, potatoes and salad and all this for 5.5 JD.

A very good option to eat there.. Food is tasty but it toook alot of time to deliver .. So be ready to wait if you were so hungry!

Amazing experience, you pick your fresh fish and they cook it as you like tried their whole fried fish (Denis) , oven baked fish and Calamari ( Fresh Aqaba squid 🐙) . Place is not fancy but food is amazing just like any other good food places around the world. Argula salad and Bakdonsia salad is a must. Enjoy 😊

If you are looking for an authentic local fishery and restaurant in Aqaba, it's the place to go. Super simple, super fresh fish (the owners are renowned fishermen in Aqaba) that is cooked to perfection the way you want it, or you can simply take their recommendations. Big selection of different kinds of fish and shellfish. I don't usually write reviews but I was really impressed by the freshness and quality of the fish and the lovely owner and staff.

I strictly recommend you to abstain from this place if you are a tourist. They don’t like tourists and insulted us when we were paying (because we wanted to pay with the credit card and not in cash). Furthermore, all locals were served quicker while we had to wait an hour for the food. The food itself was not good. The only dish which was ok was the Arabic salad. Even the fatouch was pretty bad. The fish itself left a lot of room for improvement, being too dry. We have tried another restaurant just across the street two days earlier and it was so much better, just choose any place but not this one. Thank me later.
