Theater Lourival Baptista

Performing arts theater

🫤 It's sad to see a space of this level being deteriorated over time. There isn't even water in the drinking fountains. The authorities need to carry out revitalization work in this place or it will end one of the few leisure options in this city

Very good. Could be bigger. It would reduce the parking lot or that huge sidewalk and make it an internal space. But other than that, the space is cozy.

Good place, but with an old structure without much maintenance

The theater is not very big, but the good thing about this is that the audience is closer to the artists. The structure needs some repairs.

The structural infrastructure needs renovation as it is already old, and does not have space to support a lot of people, in addition to lacking a water fountain, but I had enough fun at the dance festival yesterday.

The place is in need of renovation. It is a public place, owned by the state government.

TRAVELING AND WALKING: Teatro Lourival Baptista. Aeeee, let's perform in Aracaju! Woohoo OK! But how!? Fu#$&¨... Getting to know Aracaju through the Theater was a dream that I never imagined coming true in the short time since Cia Tevia had been in existence. The stage that welcomed us with so much love and affection is part of the beautiful trajectory of Sergipe theater that takes us back to the Jesuits, the dispute between Cias de Teatro São Salvador and Cia Dramática Santo Antonio, decline, tenements until the process of ascension in which it finds itself. Former auditorium in the 60s became the Lourival Batista Theater and cultural center with a capacity for almost 150 people. Nossa Cia was part of the Sergipe Festival of Performing Arts with 02 packed house performances. Go Travel and Stroll.

Nice theater, it's not the best in the city but it has nice acoustics for its audience capacity.

There could be more lighting at the door and a parking space.
