Beautiful female monastery near the town of Trstenik. Monastery Ljubostinja was built in the 14th century, in the Morava style, by master Rade Borović (mostly known as Rade Neimar). Here is the burial place of Princess Milica (wife of Lazar Hrebljanović) and Jefimija (wife of Uglješa Mrnjavčević). Jefimija is also known as the first Serbian female poet. It would be great if you could ask someone from people serving in the monastery to tell you all about the history of the Ljubostinja. Great story.

Really beautiful monastery with beautiful garden, and old stone church, with building in old traditional architecture. There is plenty of parking in front, little holly shop inside. It is on the main road, but there is peace and quiet, because not much of the traffic is done there,and wood is surrounding it whole. Trstenik, nice city to visit,is also located nearby.

The Ljubostinja Monastery is located not far from the city of Trstenik. The Ljubostinja Monastery will come from the 14th century. Monastery Ljubostinja is a women's monastery and today it preserves about fifty nuns.
