This
park
is
great
but
confusing
at
first.
This
marker
is
to
go
to
the
black
lake,
the
most
popular
part
of
the
park,
and
where
most
of
the
trails
start.
From
this
lake,
you
have
a
few
trails
leaving
for
day
hikes
or
backcountry
backpacking.
Hikes
are
usually
pretty
challenging
with
high
incline,
but
are
definitely
worth
it.
There
are
is
parking
lot
by
the
entrance
park
(2€/car),
from
there,
the
black
lake
is
5
min
away.
Before
going
on
a
long
hike,
make
sure
to
download
an
app
like
maps.me.
Trails
closer
to
the
black
lake
are
properly
marked,
but
in
general
connections
can
be
confusing.
Some
alternative
trails
don't
exist
(anymore?)
making
navigation
by
map
only
confusing.
The
only
maps
you'll
see
in
the
park
are
zoomed
out
maps,
without
any
trails.
The
visitor
center
isn't
helpful
at
helping
you
to
figure
out
trails
to
do,
so
come
prepared.
You
can
get
their
free
durmitor
ring
map,
don't
buy
their
paid
maps,
there
aren't
any
better.
You
can
also
find
trails
from
the
durmitor
ring.
