5/5 geraldine c. 1 year ago on Google
We
were
blown
away
by
the
value
for
money.
Everything
tasted
really
good
and
the
price
was
very
reasonable.
Their
Chuleton
would’ve
easily
fetched
£100
in
London.
It’s
probably
one
of
the
best
steak
I’ve
ever
had
and
I’m
not
even
big
on
steaks.
Their
omelette
with
crisp
Iberico
ham
was
seasoned
very
well
and
their
vegetable
tempura
with
molasses
was
such
a
revelation.
I
highly
recommend
this
restaurant.
Just
to
add
as
well,
as
most
restaurants
in
Avila,
they
close
at
16:00.
We
arrived
15:15
and
stayed
until
almost
17:00.
They
even
allowed
us
to
have
desserts.
Oh
and
just
to
add
to
the
steak
as
well,
due
to
the
language
barrier,
they
probably
didn’t
understand
that
we
wanted
ours
medium
well
done
so
they
brought
it
to
us
medium
rare.
We
had
to
ask
them
to
cook
it
a
bit
more
and
it
was
no
trouble
at
all.
If
anything,
it
became
even
juicier.
Excellent
service.
You
also
feel
old
world
luxury
on
their
setup
with
their
heavy
table
cloths
and
starched
napkins.
All
in
all,
this
alone
is
worth
a
trip
to
Avila.
Feels
like
a
bonus
to
see
the
sights
as
well.
