This was one of the best memories we took with us at our Kerala, Munnar trip. The Kathakali dance performance was good. But the Kalaripayattu show was beyond words!! One of the amazing cultural art depicted very gracefully. Special mention of the hero of the show "Sudhish", you were super amazing!! Would love to see you guys at Indias Got Talent!!!

Very nice and interactive show. First they will explain about dance and then some live with audience and in final dance performance.. sad thing to note is that Mohini dance performer was Men dressed like women. Why this is happening to us ? Why girls r not playing the role .. very bad .. parents have to think and send their daughters for acting. This only mad me sad.. our rich cultural we r loosing because of shyness..

Excellent shows to see traditional art forms of Kerala. The flawless movement from the kalarappatty artist was superb. It was a nail biting one hour performance. The timeless performances from the artists are appreciable. Personally me and my family enjoyed the 2 hour performance a lot

One must see the traditional Kathakali performance while in Kerala. The entry ticket for one individual is ₹300. Its such a good experience. Half an hour performance of traditional dance of a scene from Mahabharat. Detailing of expressions in hand and face movements is all to be noticed. And after performance you can have pictures with the artists.

Nice place. It's just near the Munnar market. Walking distance from chai bazaar shop. 300 for kathakali dance show and 300 for kalaripattu marshal art performance. I attended the former one only. The artist are wonderful funny and they also incorporate audience in the show by calling them in stage. In the end if the show free photo session with artists. It's 1 hr show and full if fun. Don't miss in Munnar.

We went to see their martial arts show from 6-7 PM. The Malayalam name of it is Kalari Payattu. It was an amazing experience to watch the artists performing various stunts. In one of their acts they involved some members from the audience as well to help them as part of the act. It’s a must watch if you are in Munnar. It costed us 300 rs per person and it was totally worth the money. The artists were nice enough to allow us to click pictures with them after the show.

I had the opportunity to attend a traditional Kathakali show at the Thirumeny Cultural Centre and it was a truly fascinating experience. The show focused on emotions and how to portray them through body movement and facial expressions. The actors were dressed in typical Kathakali attire, which is characterized by colorful costumes and elaborate makeup. Throughout the performance, the actors used a range of facial expressions and body language to convey a variety of emotions, including joy, sadness, anger, and fear. The musicians provided the perfect backdrop for the performance, helping to capture the mood and ambiance of the show. It was impressing how they used their voices, drums, and other instruments to enhance the experience. The second show I watched was Kalarippayat, which was a warrior fight performance that showcased the incredible athletic ability and skill of the performers. The fight sequences were intense and thrilling, and the performers displayed incredible strength and agility as they executed their moves with precision and grace. Overall, both shows were a fantastic cultural experience that gave me an insight into traditional Indian theatre and martial arts. I would highly recommend anyone visiting the Thirumeny Cultural Centre to check out these shows for an unforgettable evening of entertainment.

One of the best shows I have ever seen. Worth every penny. Kathakali show was very much informative and the actors were experts. Kalarippayyattu was shown with great skills. Some moves were scary and exciting. We went with a kid of three. He too enjoyed a lot. Kudos to the cultural centre, he sat all the two hours without getting bored. It is once in a lifetime experience.

One of the best things that made my stay worth the while in Munnar . What a show !!! Performances beat one after the other and the depiction of their culture through art is just beyond words ! Infact the charges are way lesser for the kind of entertainment they are putting up . Kudos to the entire team and all the best to their work. Complete Respect to all the artists. when you went to munnar, without visiting this place will never conclude your trip. visit and experience the culture of kerala. Only problem is when the show completes, organizers demand for tips. If you don't give, they will treat you rejectedly, Very bad mannerse.
