i like the fact that this is one of the few places in all Sardinien where you can see a little bit of good conserved history, and the history itself is super interesting! sadly a lot from the museum outside you couldn't visit, and also it's not explained a lot about the history and what is explained is old and not up to date. also if you're visiting the museum in english you don't really learn anything about it. it's really sad that there is not the possibility to get to know more of this really interesting past of Sardinien, sadly it's in all Sardinien like that.

Local artifacts from the nuragic era dating from 3500 bce (!!!) onwards. Well displayed and thoroughly explained. It's a small museum but unique in its kind. Great insights about the local territory.

One of the most important museum sites in Sardegna. Great presentation of many intriguing items, and extremely kind and helpful staff.

A nice little museum, and there is the option to pay a little more to get access to the Tharros tower site, but its 10 km away. You can take the bus there from Oristano, they run about once per hour.

Small Museum with a number of notable exhibits namely the Giants but also lead ingots from a sunken ship. Worth visiting if you're in the area...

A decent amount of artifacts are on display, including the giants. However, there isn't much information available in English. I would personally skip this museum for non Italian speakers.

Most-see if you are in Cabras or nearby. Buy combo ticket with Tharros and Spanish tower, it is 30 eur for families.

Excellent museum, with such interesting artefacts and stone carvings. Some fascinating information beside each display.

Small museum, not too far from where the giants were discovered. Unfortunately most of the info is in Italian, and even if there are few QR codes to some info in English, it’s not exhaustive. You could try using Google Translate camera to do the translation - I tried with limited success. It became very tedious mostly due to the necessity to read it all on the phone screen...

Nice small museum. Giants of Monte Prama are most interesting here. Information panels could be in English too, you get only brochure with little info. There is also souvenir shop with bistro (you can have espresso and some cookies).

(Translated by Google) Really interesting museum just outside the center of Cabras. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area not only for the incredible exhibits present (giant warriors and more), but also for the courtesy and preparation of the staff who help you understand what you are going to visit with a short and interesting introduction, that places what will be seen in space and time. And therefore it helps to fully appreciate its importance without depriving the visitor of the taste for discovery in the visit. The experience of this period of Covid emergency is however pleasant, since, although not being able to use the digital tools to aid understanding, there is still time and calm to observe the details of statues and objects due to the staggered entrances. The next walk along the pond completes everything, particularly suggestive if done towards sunset.

A little gem of brilliance. A total must for a wonderfully curated museum. The people who work there are passionate and super well informed. Beautifully set out with plenty of explanations. Great find.

Small but nice to visit. Unfortunately a lot of the information was in Italian only which made that we didn't really understand the background of the excavation etc.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful museum, not very large but undergoing expansion, inside there are many treasures found in the generous Sinis peninsula, starting with a part of the lead ingots found in a Roman ship sunk off the peninsula, and then continuing in a wing of the museum dedicated entirely to them, the Giants of Monte 'Prama. A unique and indescribable show, seeing them one meter away from you is a wonderful emotion. Visit not to be missed for those passing by Cabras.

(Translated by Google) A small museum that does not lack interest especially with these giants of unusual stone that resemble, as some have said, to extraterrestrial characters. See also the remains of the cargo of a Roman galley loaded with lead ingots and which flows near the coast of Sardinia and many other things to discover.

(Translated by Google) Interesting archaeological museum on the Nuragic and pre-Nuragic history of Sardinia and Sinis. Possibility to make tickets for the visit of the archaeological site of Tharros. Rich in finds, artifacts lead ingots found in the tombs and in a sunken ship off the island of Maldiventre. All explained with printed and interactive explanations. Inside there is also a small bar and souvenir shop and postcards books. (Translated by Google) It is located in the museum citadel which offers free admission during the "open monuments" days. Very suggestive because it hosts numerous finds from the Nuragic age created thousands of years ago by a people of whom little or nothing is known. Very nice children who presented the various sculptures.

Museum undergoing expansion which will include interesting additions. Unfortunately the multimedia interactions interrupted for the covid period, but still very interesting. To visit! (Original) Personale gentilissimo e preparato.
