Why this was considered a 2-Star hotel, I do not know. It clearly needs to be re-graded to reflect its 3.5-Star accommodations. The rooms were clean, appeared to be newly remodeled, roomy and quite comfortable. My husband was super impressed with the breakfast as well. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

The room was very nice. It was spacious, with all the amenities. The king bed was very comfortable, and the shower was impeccably clean and modern. The only small issue I had was the TV reception went crazy every time the fan / furnace came on. Not a big deal, because I don't watch it much.

From the time I entered the hotel on a Wednesday, until the time I left Sunday morning, the service in this hotel has been IMPECCABLE! The continental breakfast was made with love! Ashley was so attentive and made sure that food bar and drink station remained well-stocked, hot, and clean! Thank you Ashley! If only the service and the staff hospitality could be duplicated at every hotel chain I visited! Whenever I return to Baltimore, I will reserve a room here! This was a last minute reservation since the conference host hotel was booked. What a blessing for me! Thanks for making my trip feel so special! Dr. Hill

I want to compliment the staff of the Holiday Inn Express Towson. I stayed there this past weekend (Friday, February 10), while in town to visit family. I arrived to the hotel very late that Friday night (after 1am, due to a late flight) and the overnight attendant at the front desk was very polite and very helpful. I believe his name was Chris. Then on Saturday morning, I was very frustrated by an issue with the breakfast buffet closing at 9:30am. I believe that is too early to close breakfast on a weekend, especially when you have some people who arrive late the night before like I did. But, the staff at the front desk and the Manager (via phone) did try to help me. I appreciate the effort they put in, especially considering how frustrated I was. I will stay there again and recommend it as a pretty good hotel if you're in the Towson area for a night or two.

A very nice hotel for extended stays and short trips. I was here for a couple weeks and the room was very spacious and well laid out. Light switches took a minute to figure out and the bed side lights were a little brighter than expected. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming and made it a point to greet me whenever our paths crossed. The amenities included a well stocked breakfast every morning, featuring fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy, warm biscuits, hot and cold cereals, fresh fruit, juices, toast, and lots of coffee! The hotel also features an exercise center with treadmills, stationary bikes, an elliptical machine(I believe), and a free weight rack with some benches. There was always cleaning and sanitizing supplies on hand as well. This is a wonderful hotel offset right beside the 695 entrance and just off one of the main roads through Towson, so access to comings and goings are very simple. I thoroughly recommend this Holiday Inn Express if you're stopping or staying in the Towson/Northern Baltimore area.

Where to start?...Staff was courtesy & helpful. Rooms were pretty standard. Only there were some maintenance & upkeep needed in our suite. Air unit was noisy in seperate area while the one in the bedroom was thankfully quiet. Found the bed to be really soft compared to most mattresses found at Holiday Inn Express. Comfort level was ok. Sadly the drain plug was closed in bathroom sink not allowing water to drain. That was an inconvenience. Advised front desk of bathroom sink concern but checked out before that issue was resolved. Note experience is based on a one night stay. Water pressure was low for the shower while high for tub spout & the bathtub drained really slow(like a snail). Panel on air unit had a cracked across it too. So as I said this suite just had some maintenance & upkeep needs. Parking lot & walkways were mostly cleared from snow & ice making accessibility decent with all the snowing weather. With all that said, since the staff, breakfast, overall service & atmosphere was good... gave it a 4 star rating.

For a 2-star hotel, this is great. So clean, nice, spacious rooms and a very friendly staff. Also a large lobby for groups/friends to gather and a really good breakfast buffet. Very close to nice restaurants in downtown Towson. Should be rated higher than 2-star.

My experience this time was ok. One of the things i didn't like was there was an automatic charge for the use of the safe in the room. When I asked what the extra charge was for I was told, I was going to explain why. The explanation should have came about when I was told there was a $100 hold for incidentals and to swipe my card on the machine, not after I asked. The guy told me that I'd have to come to the front desk when I check out to let someone know that i didn't use the safe. That would be the only way to get that fee refunded to me. Secondly, when I got to my room there was a dirty cloth sitting on the shelf where the coffee machine is. So, that had me thinking whether everything was sanitized and wiped down or not.

This hotel was conveniently located. The employees were very kind. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, the softest bed I’ve experienced in a hotel. Unfortunately during a 4 day visit no one ever cleaned my room. I also booked an accessible room with an accessible tub and nothing about the room was accessible. (I did ask if the room was an accessible room and was told it was. There was a spot where there should have been a handheld shower head but there wasn’t one. In the photos there was a shower chair but there wasn’t one. The room wasn’t accessible in any way that was helpful to me. If i didn’t need an accessible room and there had been cleaning this would have been a really fantastic experience but because of those two problems i need to give a lower score as they affected my experience in a big way.

Nice hotel! We arrived when Happy Hour was almost over. The ladies at the reception told us to go to the bar quickly so we could have some cocktails and they kept our luggage safe.

I gave this hotel 5 stars because I was pleasantly surprised in many ways. I was impressed how the Holiday Inn Express upgraded to a modern day hotel. The rooms were spacious, linen was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of floor space. Added features included a countertop with sink near the mini fridge and modern day upgraded bathrooms. The bathroom included a full line of easily accessible Dove products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion). An additional feature is the delicious hot breakfast bar meal and modern seating area equipped with TV's. The check in and check out process was great. There was plenty of space in the outdoor parking area. There are conference room areas you can utilize for various entertainment or meeting functions. This well managed facility in my opinion is a reflection of management valuing the input of customers and front line workers. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

Really great place to stay, rooms had everything we needed: workspace, microwave, mini fridge, coat hooks. Great location. Only complaint was there seemed to be a faint smoky smell in my room even though it was non smoking, but that would be the fault of the last guest, not the hotel. Thanks, will be back!

This is my go-to hotel when I visit Towson. My twins go to Goucher College nearby, and this hotel meets my needs. It's a combo of convenient location, affordable price, clean rooms, and reliable breakfast. The breakfast is good as long as you get there about a half hour before the ending time. There's eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, bagels, pastries, and a waffle machine. The workers throughout the hotel are hard-working, friendly, and customer-oriented. The hotel has some things that need work--a couple of my rooms have had AC issues or a toilet in need of repair, but the staff will either complete the needed repair or move me to another room at my request. The maintenance staff have been friendly and very responsive. The cleaning staff does a great job too. I also find the beds very comfortable.

Besides the people smoking weed and it getting in my room, it was a pleasant stay. Alexander gave the highest customer service and was very efficient. I was very impressed. The kitchen staff was fast and amazing with the food. It was very clean. The bed was nice. Everything worked. Thank you.

We were here visiting Towson University. This Holiday Inn was really nice for being right off I695. The service was good, with front desk staff and housekeeping. The breakfast was amazing. Towson University and downtown were very close with lots of shopping and restaurants. The room was clean and more spacious than expected for a regular two queen bed. The only issue is that they didn't have coffee until breakfast was served. The Keurig in our room was not working properly. But in all, we had a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I know we're definitely staying there again next time.

Renovated hotel that seems popular for weekends parties and events. Weekend quiet hours start at midnight. Hotel staff is pleasant and easy to access. Room was cleaned once during a 3-night stay. Cleaning was very good. The main issue was the linens. Towels and sheets have some unsightly stains and hair in them. This could easily be fixed with better laundering. Overall, a decent hotel in a good area with hard-working staff.

I made a reservations for 2 beds when I when I called to confirm they said I had one king bed and they could put a roll away bed in the room. When we arrived after midnight after driving over 3 hours the roll away bed was disgusting with a stained mattress. It was bad enough we didn't get the room I requested with 2 beds and then to have a disgusting roll away bed.. It was too late to even complain plus they already told us they didn't have any other rooms available. Also the cleanliness of the lobby area and elevator weren't very clean.

I worked an event in the banquet hall of this Holidae Inn. The space was nice, had AC, and very spacious! The hotel features a pool, fitness center and area for working on the computer. The service was a little slow and slightly off for my liking as far as the staff at the hotel. Bit, I definitely recommend folks to come stay at this hotel!

The staff was polite and helpful. The rooms are nice and accommodating. We're booking our next stay for another event in a few weeks. I'm critical of hotels especially after Covid. This hotel checked all my boxes.

Clean and comfortable. Didn't bother using the WiFi, gym or pool. Free breakfast had lots of options. Eggs could have been better. Front desk staff was friendly and pleasant. Booked adjoining rooms, but they weren't available upon arrival. Close to the city with free parking seemed like a better option than staying in the city and dealing with parking garages. Overall fine stay.

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. They charged me incorrectly and have continuously given me a hard time trying to redeem my money. They drop your calls and transfer you to someone else so it’s not their problem. The hotel itself was unsanitary and very ghetto feeling. It constantly smelled like marijuana all over. Only stay here if its a last resort, and even then, perhaps its smarter and safer to sleep anywhere else.

Excellent staff and management they were always looking out for the needs and comfort of their guests. Always handled any situation faced with by using professionalism compassion and respect. I also noticed that the Front desk agents were always attentive to guests needs and concerns.
