I booked this location a few weeks ago and the staff was nice but the room was out dated and looked like it had a leak of some sort in the rest room and they failed to patch/paint it properly. I was a bit disappointed that the pool and restaurant were closed; (I think they are still in pandemic mode) also there was construction around the surrounding shops. I think they need to mention this on their website so that guests can know in advance. If they get more modern-day features, and once construction is complete I think this hotel will definitely get better ratings. I say give them another year or two then book.

No refrigerator? The hotel is somehow in COVID 2020 mode with nothing open (including the free food) and no staff even though it is Summer 2022. The room was clean and it's in a nice quiet area, but that was about it. I could not even store food there because the room had no refrigerator due to "santitation"?! BS that is just lazy. I have never stayed somewhere without that. Not even the cheapest of rooms (which this wasn't). I was told to use the pint sized ice bucket for my groceries (yea right). I expected more from Marriott. Didn't even accept a gift card.

I can say the room we were in seemed pretty clean. It smelled clean. The bed & bedding was clean & very comfortable. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk. For long enough even the night janitor said something about her not being at the front desk was purely unprofessional. Ok so we're all human maybe you needed to use the rest room or handle something in the back. You'd think an apology, you know a ' sorry for keeping you waiting' would be said right?! Nope not even. Then after checking in i came down to find out some info. Where is the front desk help NOW! No where to be found. OK so shower time, at first glance it looked clean but nope?there was a glob of someone else's blonde/gray? hair on the shower wall, which i certainly do not have. Looks like that person is losing there hair. That was disgusting. No refrigerator, the breakfast consisted of tea, coffee & waffles. There's a good pizza place nearby though to order because there are no food trucks or restaurants downstairs. Unless your a senior citizen don't stay here, spend your money elsewhere.

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING. Do not stay here unless you absolutely have no choice. The rooms are dirty. The hotel needs maintenance and major upgrades. The staff is loud and unhelpful. I cannot believe that Marriott allows this hotel to carry its name. A Motel 6 would be an improvement over this hotel.

Hi, After bringing up our luggage and organizing our stuff around the room, we went to bed and found BED BUGS. Management REFUSED to accommodate us in any way. Even worse, they knew the room was infested and STILL gave it to us. The check in girl told us that a group of gypsies had rented the room and left it with bed bugs. Additionally, that the hotel was not making money and needed to rent the room for profit. We had to contact Marriot's headquarters and after an hour of waiting in the lobby, in our pajamas and with our suitcases, they found us another hotel about 20 minutes away. We were there with a wedding party that was taking place the next day, so you could just imagine the frustration that we felt. THE ONLY compensation that management offered was "complimentary quarters so we could use the dryer to kill the bed bugs."

I absolutely love this hotel. Definitely my favorite in Baltimore. I'm so puzzled why such bad reviews. I stay in hotels more than I do home due to my business travel. It's clean, the staff is cordial and they have free breakfast. It's a 3 star hotel not a 5!!! The front desk manager Dell Taylor and the rest of the staff makes me feel appreciated. I will definitely stay again and very soon.

I stumbled on the Delta Marriott by accident, and since then this has been my hotel every time I come to the Baltimore area. However, this time was not the most pleasant because I found hair in the shower. Then in the cheese during the complimentary breakfast. I also noticed none of the staff that served the breakfast wore hair nets or any type of hair protection to prevent this. All the staff I have encountered is usually pleasant and the rooms are clean. I recommend you wear slippers in the room. Overall would I stay again YES! It's my hope they make the proper corrections so no one else has to be inconvenienced and perturbed by these infractions.

Incredible service at the front desk. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Wife and I stayed here for a quick overnight and besides the confusion of find the entrance as well as the weird elevator buttons, it was a easy and affordable trip!

Large rooms (2 queen beds) but small bathroom without working fan. The gym is on the 4th floor with new treadmill, elliptical and recumbent bike. Dumbbells up to 50 lbs and a cable machine as well. Lots of Marijuana smoke smell in the halls.😑

Room doesn't come with a refrigerator or microwave you have to call and ask in advance. Place is way back in a hole and uber drivers had a hard time finding the hotel. Big stain on mattress and no cover or pillow protectors. Lack of communication when it came to being blocked in due to a race being held.

This place is clean and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff as well. Free parking! It's kind of tucked in the back of a complex, so it wasn't easy to see from the main road, but we found it. My only complaint is that the bed I had was super old and worn in. Very little cushioning or comfort. Outside of that though, it was a nice room.

Good location, pleasant staff...and that's about it. Been here for 9 nights now and despite repeated requests to the Front Desk for a full room service...fresh bed and bath linens, dusting, carpet vacuum, sanitized cleaning of all hard surfaces...they haven't even managed to keep the room trashcans empty. Windows are dirty. I understand most hotels have leaned away from an automatic daily room service, but 9 nights without changing linens, even after asking numerous times that it be done? That's unacceptable. Can't say I would recommend this hotel to family, friends, or professional colleagues. I know I would not stay here again. Marriott brand takes a beating here. Traveler's advisory...they are undergoing major renovation work here right now and the construction workers start drilling and sawing and hammering at 6:30am, so be sure to ask for a room that is not adjacent to ongoing renovation work.

Stayed after a company holiday party. The location is easy to get in and out of. The overall facility is in good condition, but not the newest amenities. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were very clean.

This hotel and the attached shopping area is under renovation. Despite that we had a good experience. Service was friendly and helpful. Excellent bed, good pillows, clean, spacious room. The bathroom was clean though not spotless. Minor negative was we had some thermostat problems. Very quiet. The parking area has a gate attendant. Average breakfast, coffee better than average. We would return.

My mom had booked a reservation through her insurance company for two nights. Upon returning to the hotel for the second night, we were informed that the second night had been canceled (despite receipt and bank statements proving the rate for two nights was debited). The front desk agent Lynese *sp (brown skin, pie face) was very unhelpful and rude. She even began going back and forth with my mom and stated "I am not a child" when my mom gestured that she calm down her tone. Because my mom's home is being renovated, she obviously needed a place to stay and was charged an additional $200 when her card had already been charged! Worst customer service ever!

Had a great experience overall; staff was friendly and helpful, and my room was clean. They also have conference rooms you can rent, as well as a nice lobby with plenty of seating and outlets. There is a small (and very overpriced) bar in the lobby that opens at 5pm. The continental breakfast is included with your stay, and there are plenty of options including eggs, bacon, yogurts, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, fruit, juices, and coffee. If you get coffee from the lobby, be warned that the lids are slightly too big for the coffee cups. I would suggest drinking your coffee without a lid, or you may end up spilling coffee all over yourself like I did, lol. I would also suggest that the hotel invest in lids that actually fit the cups. I stayed for 1 night for a work event. I would stay here again. I didn't use the parking garage during my stay, but I believe it does not cost extra to park in the garage during your stay. The hotel was a bit difficult to find at first, as it's all the way in the back of a shopping center and there was a ton of construction going on when I stayed, making it a bit hard to navigate the shopping center. The inside of the hotel was clean and decorated nicely for Christmas, although the exterior looks a bit dated and could use a refresh.

Thank you to David the Jamaican front desk host. He was truly amazing. His attitude was contagious and he looked after our every need. Marriott please spend some money on the hotel! It's in need of an update.

No signs outside for entrance to front lobby. Most areas under construction. Front desk staff is so so. No acknowledgment of Titanium members. I had to extract where the continental breakfast will be. Elevator in the lobby looks like a freight elevator. Room AC didn’t work. You can hear a person pee in the next room. Breakfast is a joke. Oh yeah don’t open the window.

Comfortable room and attentive staff. The breakfast was delicious. Flat on the air conditioning in the common places regulated very strong (but it seems that it is common in the US) Pool and fitness room : top! Journey for 3 nights was totally enjoyable!

Helpful staff. Rooms were clean but a little tired. I've definitely stayed in worse for more. The big issue is the elevator situation is a 1/10. At busy times expect to wait 5-10 min to go down the few floors to the lobby. There wasn't an obvious stair option I found, the one I did take took me outside and then to the 3rd floor (after a quick walk around the closed pool) where I still needed to use and wait for the elevator. Unsure if it was user error or it had a mind of its own but the elevator kept going up while the completely full car was determined to go down to the lobby.

My stay was pleasant until I ordered food using Door Dash this was on 12/19/23 @6pm my food was delivered and my Dasher (who happened to to be a awesome Dasher as he has delivered to me before) tried to accommodate my order by delivering to my room as he has done before, however the man at the front profiled my dasher and would not allow him to deliver my food nor did he attempt to assist in contacting me for my order especially since there is no designated place for orders to be left. I just had surgery and have been recovering this particular hotel staff member made me feel so uncomfortable and I do feel he made the Door Dasher feel disrespected and uncomfortable as well. I stood aside and observed someone of another race walk in with bags and he never attempted to stop this person to ask any questions or show any concerns of safety so I don’t understand why the Dasher was stopped and told that he would be a safety risk for him as staff and everyone else if he allowed him to bring me my order yet you allowed others to walk in and out freely! Though I enjoyed my room and stay I have checked out early as that one staff person made the entire environment uncomfortable and unsettling. He is not good for business all people should be treated fairly and this man who is there now being selective to whom he insults vs who he politely greets (short light skinned male with a bald head) needs to be reconsidered as an employee there! I don’t care how clean a room is how accommodating a price is, stopping guest (profiling) is not ok if he is going to stop people he should stop everyone. I should not have had to be inconvenienced, made to feel uncomfortable, or be a witness of him insulting and embarrassing anyone especially when it’s someone making a honest living the same as him! I cut my stay short and will not stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend any of my family friends or business associates to either!!!

Was here for a work conference. Building is old but well kept. Free parking. Peaceful and serene. Pleasant staff. Hotel needs to hire more people to accommodate large conferences, weddings, receptions and baby showers. Our conference had to order out due to hotel staff shortage.

This hotel was...an experience. I got in fairly late to find my bed confusing. Weird, right? One side was hard like a board. One side was ....almost like being in the frame. Soft but if I shifted wrong I could feel the bed underneath. I thought it might just be two mattresses pressed together but it turned out it was a sleep number bed. I called the front desk, and the person was kind. The whole hotel used to have sleep number beds (which are basically camping air mattresses ?? How did I not know that.). They require remotes, and I would not be able to get one until the morning. Which eventually happened, thanks to a kind engineering staff member. Everyone I encountered here was kind with the "doing the best with what we've got" vibe. The rooms are very large and feel run down. The walls are thin, so definitely pack earplugs. The hotel is in a mall which seemed barely inhabited, although I was mostly there outside of work hours, so maybe it is a party during midday? Without a car it was a little frustrating.

Location is OK and the Village Shopping center is remarkable. Terrible house keeping. Hotel room is dirty and the carpet seemed never been steamed cleaned. Breakfast service is a nightmare.

I want to thank front desk staff member Dell Taylor for his kindness, courtesy, and excellent customer service during my stay at Delta Hotels. I can't express enough appreciation for Dell quickly resolving my issues with the room I was initially assigned and getting me and my family to a better room. Dell is very knowledgeable, always friendly to guests, and is an asset to the hotel.

They allowed us to do an early check-in. Very helpful and courteous concierge staff. Our room is big (booked 2 queen-size beds), clean, quiet and spacious. Parking is free and easy (parked underground with access to elevators to go up to our floor).

This place is great! They were able to accommodate a (very) early check in for me on a busy Baltimore weekend. They also let me team store some retreat supplies and luggage when there was a delay with our transportation. I would stay here again. Dell and Shateil were very helpful!

Great location and staff! Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Dell gave great service and made sure accommodations were perfect!

Very lackluster. The elevator is old and only one is in operation which results in a long wait to make it up and down. The breakfast was pitiful with just waffles, some cereal, coffee, and school juice cartons. The pool is closed, which is ok since it’s winter; however, the door to get back in from the pool is broken, so you’ll have to go up some stairs. The rooms are decently sized, but could use some updating. Would recommend to stay if it is near where you have to be and money is an object.

Decent stay for what it is, very friendly staff. They offer a wheelchair for use if needed, but fail to mention that it’s a broken wheelchair. Also, during my stay, construction was being completed on the adjoining rooms and they started promptly at 6am each day. This forced us to have very early mornings unfortunately. Would probably try and find another place to stay next time I’m in town

FoxNewBaltimore reporting : “This is not the first time that Morgan has invested resources to house students on the waiting list off-campus at a hotel site. During the last academic school year, the (Morgan State) University secured the entire Delta Hotels by Marriott (in the Village of Cross Keys) to house students for both fall and spring semester. The students that stayed there really enjoyed the experience. And the year prior to that off-campus hotel space was also secured temporarily for students on the waitlist.” It is about the time to watch the old movie: “Animal House” starring John Belushi…
