Nice cozy small rooms. No hair dryer in the bathroom though. Would give 4.5 if I could give half stars. Free WiFi, continental breakfast, and fitness center. Nice views from the room. Closer to the rail system and to a whole foods and other places for food. Overall, pretty good and would come back here again.

7/27/2018 - One night Nice location, beautiful setting, polite staff, comfortable beds, beautiful view from the room’s balcony. BUT: The room we checked in was not particularly clean. The bed sheets were not changed, neither were the pillow covers, nor the blankets. The bed-setting used by previous customers was still in the room, untidy! The carpet was smelly, and there was no face tissues in the room, no clean towels, nor hygiene set (shampoo set, soap & toothpaste). #Attached is the view from our room’s balcony.

The good: It is a beautiful location and an awesome value. Room was clean and nicely appointed with more electrical outlets than any hotel room that I've stayed in recently. Bathroom was very clean. Nice balcony/patio with chairs and table. Room was quiet and no bad smells. The bad: The furnishings are a bit dated, the tv was tiny, and the mattress was sad. I could see the depressions of every guest who stayed here in the past. No kidding. Conclusion: I would definitely stay here again.

Not fancy but good value. Friendly staff. The hotel is surrounded by a large grassy area which keeps it quiet. Despite that only a 5 minute walk from the light rail station and restaurants.The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Weekend breakfast is basic carbs, better on weekends but doesn't open till 7:30.

Great place with a very friendly front desk! Always smiles to make you feel welcomed back! At one point we needed some extra towels so we asked them, and they informed us they were fully booked at the time and doing their best to receive and clean towels from rooms and would get us them as soon as possible. They got them to us in time, which we never expected but they did and I was very grateful! The employees really care about their job and the people who stay there.

We stayed in the Octagon, a beautiful old building with charm and spacious rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although breakfast was included with our room rate, the food was not good. On weekends there's a meager continental breakfast with onion bagels and chalky pastries. During the week there is a "hot" breakfast that adds prefab scrambled eggs and dry breakfast meats.

We called at 9:00pm needing a room at the last minute and the staff was very helpful. The hotel was clean (we walked in our room and remarked how clean it smelled) there were comfy beds, and a nice view. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our experience here.

Stayed in April for a conference. My room was booked through the conference coordinator. I live in Virginia but did not want to drive back and forth in commuter traffic every day. Conference was from Monday-Friday. I had no issues upon check-in, room was decent, people were pleasant. I checked out and paid my bill. No problem, right? WRONG! When I received my credit card bill, I was billed for an additional night for 'early departure'. Apparently they had me departing on Saturday. However they did not mention this to me upon check-in or check-out! They just billed an extra night on my card and are now refusing to credit it! Very shady business practices. BE AWARE OF YOUR BILL. I will never stay here again, and will spread the word far and wide.
