They started charging $12 a day for parking. I been staying here for years, same parking lot, but now $12 a day. Prices going up services going down. The carpet in my room looked like it needed to be cleaned and vacuumed and I got a bit on my ankle. It would be nice to have coffee available during checkout hours or longer than breakfast hours.

We have been coming here for 6 years on March 12 for our Anniversary. We loved it. The atmosphere was relaxing This weekend we were to stay the weekend as usual. We were shocked at the first steps into the Hotel Everything is different. It was not the same. Even the beautiful ponds with the fish and waterfalls was gone. That was only the beginning. I am a handicap person. I requested a handicap room when I first made my reservation. When we got to the room, the toilet was so low my husband had to help me up and down. Also toilet seat only had 1. Bolt. It was The room is not inviting. It is not cozy. Very cold. We slept in our jogging suits to keep warm. Even with the thermostat turned all the way up. The next morning we checked out. There were no menus in the room to order out also. I am sorry but we will not be returning We loved it here. This is a room compared to MOTEL 6. The price you charge it could have at least had a bedspread. We are very disappointed in. Only good thing was Leslie at the bar.

I have been coming to this hotel for over I'm thinking 20 plus years. They've recently renovated and I love it! I liked the original Embassy Suites too with the fish pond but they have definitely made this place a beautiful hotel. We come here because it's a tradition to stay here when we visit Maryland and we have never been disappointed with our stay. I have now stayed here with my mother, grandmother, my children, and my grandchildren. I can't wait to bring my great grandchildren too🙂

My mother and I were in town for a medical appointment for myself and thought that the hotel fit our needs. One thing I loved about the stay was that your hotel has fantastic employees! The front desk was helpful, the bartender Leslie, was accommodating and friendly. The breakfast and happy hour were nice additions to our stay. The atrium was beautiful, decorating throughout the hotel was clean and modern. I loved the Christmas tree and music in the lobby! The shower would not fully turn off, so the water was running; the maintenance was sent up and managed to turn it closer to off but needed a part to fix it fully. We told the lady at the front desk at checkout, and she wrote the room number down for management to look into the issue. A few issues during our stay include that there was also a small burn on our coffee table and a small hole in the ceiling by the kitchen sink when we arrived. When we were checking out, three out of the four elevators were being worked on- which made checkout a little stressful. The front desk employee was helpful in finding the correct elevator. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and liked the staff. Just a few issues, and the coffee was bad.

Although the hotel looked lovely upon arrival, our experience changed once we checked in. The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke and filth, and it was overall disgusting. We were also disappointed to find that there was only one washcloth provided, and there had been no water for the past 14 hours with no indication of when it will be turned back on. Additionally, the hotel's system was down and they couldn't add our Hilton Honors number to our account for points. Considering these issues, we would recommend finding another place to stay. Despite being advertised as a 3 1/2 star hotel, our experience was only worth 2 stars.

So I was- still am going through a seriously horrible situation and ended up here one night after leaving the hospital. From the moment I walked in between the front desk ppl, the bartender, even the housekeeping staff... They were just so amazingly helpful and kind and accommodating. I didn't know how long I would be staying and kept coming down extending and they just were so understanding and lovely, really just made this horrible time in my life so much more pleasant. I got names- Dakota-Sasha-Carol- and Leslie are just truly wonderful people. I appreciate them and I would have stayed there again last night but they were booked for a Lacrosse tournament. I plan on heading back there today if there is space. The room was just amazing and the happy hour/ breakfast👌 I mean complimentary happy hour from 5:30-7:30 ? Why not.. but the staff really just made this hotel my forever favorite hotel. I hope I made it clear to them how much they truly were appreciated.

Rolled in for a quick overnight stay on the way someplace else. Front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. Grabbed a couple of free drinks from the bar during happy hour before unloading to our spacious and very clean room. Breakfast in the morning was pretty good (with the exception of the eggs which had an odd consistency and taste). Checkout was quick. Access to major roads is easy. Close to plenty of places to eat and drink in the area.

This hotel has a really nice layout lobby wise and room rise! The room was very spacious. We loved the balcony and the natural light that came through. The cons were the smaller shower, with water going up to a warm temperature, not as hot, and the random bugs, probably from the balcony and wooded area. In our room we saw a ladybug, a fruit fly, and a beetle. Lastly the dial on our refrigerator didn’t work. If you’re not squeamish or too particular, it could be the perfect stay for you.

Our family of 4 stayed here for the weekend while visiting family. The renovations they've done are nice, the staff was so kind and helpful (and patient with my 2 year old!), breakfast and reception were great - really couldn't ask for more. Also, the location could not be more conveniently located to the highway but also so many restaurants and shops. We will absolutely stay again the next time we're in town!

Staff was amazing but other then that it wasn’t great. The hot tub smelt like an old fish tank my mom said it smelt like old mildew. The indoor pool was freezing not heated at all. Our A/C didn’t work in room 810. The door was so hard to open. The shower head was super low. I’m 5’5” and it was close for me. The room had been “updated”but it was more like putting lipstick on a pig just wasn’t very nice. The atrium on the other hand was beautifully redone. Breakfast was also yummy but we would never go back. For the $184 we spent for one night on a basic room the quality wasn’t there. We went down the street to Hilton garden inn and stayed for $109 the next night. It’s way better at the cheaper place.

**UPDATE** IT'S SUCH A SHAME THEY CHARGE YOU FOR PARKING EVEN IF SOMEONE DROPS YOU OFF. THEY DON'T EVEN ASK THEY JUST STICK YOU WITH THE BILL. THE DIGITAL CHECK IN IS A JOKE. I experienced some issues during my stay such as long wait for room to become available, locked out of my room due to broken door lock and unexpected charges for parking. I ultimately enjoyed my stay in spite of it all. I must add I liked the water fall and river much better than this new look. This hotel used to be my favorite because of the nature feel. That was disappointing.

Everything else was good. Breakfast was good. Front staffs were kind and friendly. Bathrooms were clean. But there are things I was less pleasant during my experience at this hotel. 1. I could hear someone snoring from other room from my bed. If you are a light sleeper like me, please be aware. 2. House cleaning woman tried to come in to my room. I was not in a shape to be revealed in front of public. I shouted "no, I am checking out in an hour" but she still tried to come in. Good thing I had door latch device locked. It seemed she was listening to music or something. 3. The linen of the bed smelled as if it did not spend enough time in drying machine after it was washed. 4. You have to pay to use the hotel wifi. My tmobile was slow in my room.

This hotel used to be the best hotel in the area. Our company uses it three times a year with 4 rooms Thursday through Sunday. This past weekend was unacceptable. Only 1 of the 4 elevators worked properly. Stairs are not an option on the 7 floor. One elevator was broken in our October stay and it was still in the same stuck position this past weekend. Then the $12 parking fee PER DAY. What is this for? Another add on fee at a hotel for no reason. No other businesses are near this hotel.

Best breakfast. Cannot say enough about how delicious it was and the friendliness of the breakfast staff. Really like how the guy that made the omelets made sure he talked with each customer and wished them all a great day. Rooms were nice but lobby and bar area are freezing. That was my only complaint. Other than that I would highly recommend and I am a travel agent that travels alot.

A huge suite. Living area. 2 big screen Tv's. Office desk. Big bedroom. Sink & refrigerator. Super clean. Fun fact - I got married here in 1989.

Embassy suites is always my go to when traveling out of town. They always provide such excellent customer service and this location was perfect! From the time we arrived, Ashley the front desk receptionist was great! She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. She truly exemplified great customer service which now a days is such a lost art! The room was super clean and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was top notch and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. If my family should ever travel back that way again we would hands down stay again without question.

Frequently come here for business in Sparks. Hotel had been under construction for a while during the pandemic but is back up to fully operational now. New dining area is nice and set up well for both single and social dining. Open bar happy hour between 5-7pm each night is a pleasant perk as well. Rooms are clean and relatively spacious, and front desk is very helpful in making sure you are accommodated.

The staff are very attentive. When I arrived my room was clean and well arranged. The fridge and microwave in the room were much appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and it feels like they are making a strong effort to make guests feel welcome after the chaos of COVID.

1st time at this hotel was nice the lady at front desk checked us out (9/5/23) was super nice and staff was friendly. However the pool hours sucked. Hotel was clean. The breakfast was amazing. The room was nice.

I stayed at Embassy Suites the first week in July and left my jewelry box in my room. Carol called me and I was so grateful I gave her a different debit card to FedEx, my jewelry. Now it is the second week in September I get a charge on a different card not the one I paid for the room with or the one I gave them over the phone. I called and spoke to Carol again. She looked up the transaction and acknowledged that this is correct and not sure why they charged that card it wasn't the one I gave her, and she would have the general manager call the next day. So, Katie the general manager called, and I questioned where did they get the card that was charged from and why didn't they call me and advise they were going to charge my card two months later? She rudely advised that they could use any card they wanted, and it was attached to Priceline. She offered no apology but said they will reverse it tomorrow. So, watch your personal information with them, it’s not safe.

Had a great stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Hunt Valley! The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Sasha at the front desk. The room was clean and since my stay was a little longer, it was definitely nice to have the extra sitting room. The location of the hotel is also great. It’s located near the highway and there are also loads of restaurants nearby. The airport is also not far away. The only cons I would say are that the walls between rooms are not that soundproof. Had a few nights with very loud guests next to us. The balcony door and the bathroom and suite doors are also a little old and could use some maintenance or replacement. Otherwise, this was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!!!

We've stayed here twice now and overall it's a comfortable hotel. We like that all the rooms are suites, so there are two rooms separated by a door, each with their own sleeping area and TV. The lobby can get a bit loud especially when there is a wedding, likely because of the acoustics of the tall ceiling. For the other hotels available in the area, the price is reasonable. Although not a 5-star hotel, it gets the job done and hits enough marks to make it a comfortable, worthwhile stay.

Just impeccable service from every member of the staff. Baltimore leaves much to be desired, but every employee here is an absolute rock star. Host of my daughter’s wedding guests, and I could never imagine better kindness and service. Thank you, and God bless you all!

Nice hotel. Clean comfortable room with a nice sitting area. Separate TV's in both areas with a door in between in case someone wants to go to bed early. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices including omelettes and waffles made to order. Also, evening happy hour with free drinks daily. Pool was under construction when I was there (early Feb). Rates were pretty reasonable. Parking was close and free. Lots of nearby dinner options.

What a great Hotel. Super friendly staff and very clean rooms. Really like the buffet breakfast with the strong coffee and very comfy seating area. Rooms are nicely decorated and bedding you can relax and feel confident they are clean.Apreciate the sitting room as I wake up at 5 and hubby at 7 so a room where I can close the door and put the lights on is great. The cherry on top is the Happy Hour, glass or two of free wine is a great way to relax after a long commute, or day working. Will gladly go back.

We arrived late, slept, ate breakfast and left. The room was excellent, right in line with expectations. The best complementary breakfast in the industry lived up to expectations. Very pleased.

The hotel is beautiful, but the water is shut off for the vast majority of the day today, and the pool is only open from 5p to 10p. Whoever heard of a pool only open for 5 hours at night. Great, instead of a relaxing early workout, I get to share the pool with 1000 screaming kids from 5pm to 10 pm.

Hotel was recently renovated, rooms were spacious and clean, staff were great, especially Antoine at check-in and Leslie at the bar. Complimentary breakfast and evening reception with free alcoholic beverages and snacks was great .

The hotel was clean and well appointed. Close to a nice shopping area with restaurants. The hotel breakfast was very nice with lots of options including made to order omelets. I noticed that staff was very accommodating to disabled and elderly guests which is always lovely to see. My only complaint is that they put a 100$ hold on my card for room service "incidentals" that wasn't used, and there is a pending charge still on my credit card 3 weeks later. I called and spoke to the manager and they were unable to "see it" because it hasn't been charged. Unfortunately it still shows on my balance because they charged it as a "pending" charge. I've never had this issue before and will never allow it again.

Ever since Covid when most Hilton hotels adopted a “opt in” policy for daily housekeeping (ie, you have to request service if you want your room cleaned), many embassy suite facilities have really taken a downturn in terms of quality and cleanliness. I stayed in Room 609. When I entered the room, it was set to 41F. I turned it up and that’s where things stopped working. The humidity in Baltimore was unbelievably high and the air system was non functional, making the room feel and smell super damp. The furniture and lights were in disrepair and super dirty as was the carpet. Hard to get comfortable with such a dingy feel to the place. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast buffet is one of the better ones I’ve experienced at an embassy suite but right now, there really needs to be more managerial oversight to improve the shape of the rooms

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I love the layout of the hotel. The bathroom was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The living room area was a great addition to the room. While this is a hotel review, my comments is really focused on their breakfast. OMG, like I would randomly stay here just to have their breakfast. It was on point!! I know it may not seem much..it hard to mess up breakfast, but you’d be surprised how other establishments have ruined the experience of a good breakfast. This place nailed it, for sure!!

A very good hotel for business travelers or a one night getaway for the wife and I to spend some "quality" time together. Really comfortable rooms, limited room service and not sure how long this goes on but this past weekend they had FREE HAPPY HOUR until 10PM Friday night and FREE full breakfast buffet Saturday. We picked a good weekend! Very nice staff and no crazy party animals or teeny boppers boozing it until 6AM (not that I didn't partake of those activities as a younger man) 😉 Good job Embassy Suites Hunt Valley 👏

I love staying at this property, I feel I am treated more like family than just an average guest. One of my highlights this trip was when Chef Joshua came in just because he heard I was there and asked for him (even though he was not scheduled to work) this made me feel extra loved. Also, Roy blessed me doing my entire stay with the service he provided. I had the entire pool area to myself to relax in the hot tub while I enjoyed my Sunday School group on Zoom, that's Favor of God🙌🏽

We got to the Embassy Suites in Hunts Valley, Baltimore later in the evening on Christmas weekend after a long day of travel and were informed, quite curtly, by the general manager Katherine Williams, that our reserved double queen room was unavailable AND our family of four, with two older teenage boys, had to sleep in a single queen bed. I told Mrs Williams that "this was unacceptable, two adults and two teenagers can't sleep in a queen size bed." Mrs Williams then offered us two king sized beds at a higher rate and I said that she should give us that room at the same rate because she was unable to fill our reservation. She told me she "didn't like my attitude" and then denied us service completely telling me I could take it up with management on Monday, it was a long Christmas weekend. Careful at this hotel. Your room reservation is not guaranteed and if you question Mrs Williams regarding the loss of your reservation (or anything else) you may be insulted and denied entry. Katherine Williams is not accommodating or apologetic. She is a poor at customer service representative and should not be in guest services. I certainly did not feel like a guest, as a matter of fact, I felt demeaned and insulted. I have stayed in many hotels throughout my life and have never been so poorly treated by a hotel employee, let alone a general manager like Katherine Williams. Skip this one, there's plenty of other hotels who need our business and value customers. Embassy suites management would be wise to reassign Mrs Williams to a position that is not in customer service. Needless to say I'll take my business to the Marriott up the road or any of the other hotels in the area where I would undoubtedly feel like a Guest.

I am from Baltimore and was in town for the holidays. Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The location is safe and convenient to 83, which will quickly get you in to the City. Nice breakfast and a happy hour. The pool hours were a little odd (5-10). My kids were bummed they didn’t get to swim as we had other things planned in the evenings. Overall - highly recommend and will stay again when we return to Bmore.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in hunt valley and Baltimore. The ladies at the front desk reception area at the embassy suites were very accommodating and friendly. Any issues we had they took care of. Including getting someone to get the unruly kids out of the pool and hot tub area and kept it open later for us and the other 2 ladies that were trying to enjoy the hot tub as well. The breakfast buffet was great. Lots to choose from and loved having fresh omelettes made and waffles fresh. The evening reception was great. Free drinks and light snacks from 530 til 730. We had a 2 room suite with a king size bed and the room had it's own personal refrigerator where we kept our bottle of wine and complimentary water. The bed and pillows were so comfy we slept so great and no noise. We will definitely be returning again

I lived there for about a month and it was a great stay. It was over 100 degrees for a couple days and the a/c kept the room nice and cold. The employees were helpful with anything you needed and the place stayed very clean. The free happy hour and breakfast buffet were huge bonuses. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

The Hotel is excellent. but as the wife of a user in a wheelchair, I think that the dispensers for hygiene products should be placed on the side walls, not on the ends, in order to facilitate handling. And I also think they could change the bathtubs and put fixed benches like in other hotels to provide more security and independence to users!

The included breakfast at the Embassy Suites in Hunt Valley is hands down one of the best you’ll find anywhere. The variety of items and fresh omelet/waffle bar along with very friendly and attentive staff make it unique in the in the industry. We have been staying here on occasion since it first opened in the early 1980s. What was very disappointing on arrival was to see a sign at the check in desk stating that starting November 1st a $12 nightly parking fee would added to the “guest folio”. (Why don’t they just say bill?) This charge is absurd, as anyone who knows the area, knows that there isn’t any paid parking anywhere in about a ten mile radius. None of the other hotels nearby have ever, or do now; charge for parking. To the integrity challenged middle manager who made the decision to sneak in a parking fee: If need the extra money just add it to the room price and save your employees the customer hassles. By the way, the fee was not disclosed in my confirmation when I booked through Hilton Honors.
