This must be an older location, as it feels kind of dated compared to others in this chain. Definitely could use some work to the interior. That said, it was clean, service was excellent, staff were friendly, and the location isn't too bad. The price definitely made up for any negatives. I expect to be in the area again in the future and I will stay here again.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Terrible service. Our friends got stuck in the elevator and had to call the fire department to get them out when the hotel staff weren't helping. Then we left something in our room after checking out and asked the front desk to look for it. They lied and said they looked and it wasn't there. Luckily housekeeping had the door propped open still so we were able to get in to recover our property that was still in the room.

Only one elevator is "working". Our friends got stuck in the elevator and missed our friend's wedding. The lights in the room were only half working. I needed to get back in the room to get my wallet and the person at the front desk was rude and kept telling me it wasn't in the room. I got into the room and found my wallet. Can't recommend staying here .

The Holiday Inn Express in Hunt Valley is a clean hotel, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. Shower had hot water, and towels were clean. Hotel serves free hot and cold breakfast, depending on what you want to eat. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Hunt Valley area. Prices are reasonable. Anything I needed I just had to ask the front desk for, and I got it. Will definitely be staying here again.

I'll start with the positives. Hasan the General manager is so kind and helpful. Beds are comfortable. Shower was hot with nice shampoo and soap options. Breakfast is decent. Negatives for the price of this hotel there is not a pool. Parking is creepy. Carpet in room 217 smells like mildew(mold). The Shell gas station lights shine into the room. Soap holder and fire sprinkler have rust on them. The layout of the bathroom is awful. Headboard had missing fabric.

Stephanie at the front desk was great and went out of her way to accommodate us. Kudos to her. Unfortunately, the overall stay was disappointing. One of the elevators was broken and the second was hit or miss; the cable tv was on and off all evening (same problem in our friend’s room); the air conditioner was clicking all night, annoying my companion. The breakfast was poor: bacon overcooked, omelets dry and luke warm; tots were undercooked and greasy. I’ve stayed here multiple times and the hotel feels like it’s been on a steady decline and they are simply going through the motions. If it weren’t for Stephanie’s extra effort, this would be a one star review. Disappointing.

Not much to say about this place. filthy and bed bugs. My wife was covered in bed bug bites after our stay. Our room front door was partially broken and had to be shouldered to get in. Cabinet doors broken rust and dirt on most things. Bathroom design is awful. Beds are springboards. Noise was a constant issue, walls and windows paper thin. Would never stay here again. Should have stayed at another place around the corner. Avoid this place

This hotel property was clearly built prior to Holiday Inn Express' brand modernization, so the interiors and rooms are old school. Think less sleek greys, more beiges and wood. Staff are friendly. Coffee and tea around the clock in the lobby is nice. Breakfast met expectations. Beds were clean. Fridge and microwave in room. Strange bathroom layouts. You think this is minor when you read it, but wait until you experience it. Bathroom toilet and sink were dirty upon check-in to our room. Light pours in from the sides of the curtains in the morning, so take them up on their offers of eye masks and curtain clips. Maybe ear plugs too, as the noise from any room in the hallway is heard in your room very clearly. Affordable accommodations, so our expectations weren't super high. Missed the mark just a bit, but the price was right.

I've stayed here many times. Everything is nice except two things. One is that they have a parking pad in the rear over top a small small parking garage. Although they have signs up that say "no trucks permitted" they allow SUV's up there and that creates a difficult area to park. More than w or 3 makes it impossible to turn around. They need to put a parking restriction bar up there (the bars that limit the size of a vehicle that can enter). The other issue is the elevator(s). As stated, I've stayed her numerous times recently. Out of 2 elevators one has been out of order for what seems like months. In a 7 level hotel this is an issue. Add to that the elevator that works is sketchy and this is an issue. Sometimes the elevator hits the floor, dings, the button light goes out and the door opens and closes about 3 inches. Then you have to hit the button again to get the door open. Very unnerving when you are in the elevator. They have to have a warranty and should be able to get them repaired.

Our wedding guests stayed at this Holiday Inn Express for the weekend of our wedding. The staff here are wonderful people who are courteous and excellent to work with! The hotel was 30 minutes from our venue and we were even able to work with the hotel to coordinate a shuttle service for guests going between the hotel and venue. It was very nice that we didn’t have to use a third party service and work with another vendor. Nicole was especially fantastic in coordinating our block and making sure our guests received our welcome bags. She was easy to talk with and always responded very quickly to any concerns or questions we had.

The room was very clean and nice and had alot of added features, like Dove toiletries in the bathroom, great breakfast. The only thing I can complain about is that the bed is way to high for people who have handicap issues. I was not able to get an accessible room and I couldn't sleep in the bed that came with the room. Also the bathroom was a little on the small side.

I will echo the slightly dated decor but the kindness and clean rooms satisfied us. We had a remarkable breakfast and parked behind the hotel in a parking garage. The elevator is available from there up to the lobby and rooms. Glad we stayed there. Easy in and out with multiple restaurants and shopping available. Door dash was quick!

I have stayed at this hotel twice now, and I've been impressed both times. I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the of the staff, and the quality of the rooms. I thought the price was great, and the breakfast offered more than what I would have expected. This hotel is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. My only hesitation is the parking. There is plenty of parking for regular sized cars/trucks, but it is limited for large vehicles pulling trailers. During my second stay I was pulling a trailer and had to get "creative" with parking. I was able to park on the hotels property, but you should be aware of this if you are pulling a trailer.

It was my birthday weekend so I was treated to a short getaway away from Pennsylvania. If I could say just one thing. Having a king size bed and all the comforts of their bedding all day everyday in my own home I'd never get out of bed. Thanks for having us there.

Owner/manager Hassan is a very pleasant and wonderful Man to work with, and he also works hard with and alongside his staff to keep the hotel in great running conditions, and to maintain the best hospitality. The hotel is clean, the upkeep is nice, the beds are extremely comfortable and I love breakfast in the morning. I've been here now for a little while, and the staff has made it extremely pleasant to stay, very generous and professional.

I was not empressed with the hotel for the amount i paid per night. I stayed july 2nd through july 5th. First when you walk into the room it smells like mold and bug spray. I inspected the bed and didnt see any bugs which was a plus. The rooms is outdated with no ironing board. The sheets were stained. Breakfast at first glance looked not bad until i went to get fruit it was molded, the milk was old which i didnt realize until after i gave to my young son. Another lady poured her milk out and clumps came out which made me instantly sick. The manager did not remove the milk. The yogurt was expired. After those things i was turned off from their breakfast the entire stay. I was told they can comp a night which i didnt accept because im a person that pays for my usage but i will not return. I guess this would be an ok place if no other places had rooms.

It was an awful night stay. The hotel is right on the corner of an intersection and from 5am on we had constant noise from trucks. We got very little sleep. The bathroom was so awkward and small that it was hard to get in and close the door. It was an odd and lousy design. It was a relief to check out and go to a different Holliday Inn for the next night. Such a difference in quality.

The AC was so loud as to sound broken, my door handle broke off the first time I tried to use it, different elevators broke multiple times I used them, the lobby was hot as if not air conditioned and it’s at the dead end of a horrible T intersection with no walkable amenities. It barely meets the minimum requirements for shelter despite the employees best efforts. It could only be worse if they had bed bugs which previous reviews say was the case.

I work away from home and I must say this is one of the most friendliest hotels I've stayed at. The staff always greets me with happiness and cheer. It's almost like coming home. I recommend this hotel. It's close enough to the city for convenience but far enough away that you feel safe. All the staff are very kind and courteous.

I experienced beg bugs from a 2 night stay. Documented all the bites with photos and a medical exam. Provided all information to both Hotel manager and IHG of which I am a member. IHG gave me the run around for several weeks then finally said they could not help me and said I had to work with the manager and they provided all my information to the manager. I emailed the manager and left messages for him to call me. To date, no reply. Pretty clear Holiday Inn must have a “playbook” on how to handle bed bugs claims to so frustrate its guests that they give up. All I want is a refund. I have decided to cancel my IHG membership and will no longer be a loyal customer. Does anyone know if there is a class action I could join to address these issues?

The hotel is clean and comfortable, breakfast surprisingly tasty. They do have an issue with "HUNTED" elevators that have a will of their own, hope they finally will fix them. Just in case don't book the 7th floor.

No frill hotel with clean rooms, good breakfast, super nice staff. As with most hotels at this range there maybe occasional hiccups and the wall could be thicker. But overall I always have a good night sleep when I stay here.

The Hotel is very dated and not clean. The rooms need new beds. The bathroom was extremely small. The staff were courteous. We have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express and this was not a good experience. Didn’t have hot breakfast one day.

Parking is weird. The breakfast is eh, breakfast. The elevators have serious issues. You need to press both buttons to “recall” the elevators as seen on a printed note near the elevator. It seems as though this hotel was once nice and lost its “pizzazz.” The entire hotel smells like Bed bug spray. I know from experience. I tried to ignore it but I can’t. I knew exactly what it was. The cleanliness is better than I thought. The rooms are okay. I would’ve given the hotel at least 2 stars but after waking up this morning to a bedbug in my bathroom, alive and obviously healthy it’s upsetting I couldn’t give you -0 stars. I’m traumatized from living with bedbugs as a child and a young adult.. I will not risk it for anything or anyone.. black listed for me.
