The carpet in front of the sofa was sticky to bare feet. The kitchen floor had chunks of sticky candy stuck to it in front of the fridge. The dining table has a huge chunk of splintered wood on the leg and it wobbles something fierce. And the layer of nicotine on the shower curtain rod in our non-smoking room has stained the wash clothes twice. This reminds me of the way the bathroom always stained my towels as a child when both my parents smoked like factories. The pool was closed until October or some time way in the future. The eggs were always crusted with a thick dry layer. The bacon was always burnt and twice the sausage patties were in the heating tray at refrigerator temperatures. On top of everything there was an Internet outage for an entire day.

Sorry but there are so many things wrong with this property starting at arrivalπŸ₯΄ Employees congregating in the lobby as if there is nothing to do. The lobby floor was dirty, leaves on floor and other dirt and grime that was tracked in by foot traffic. The luggage carts were filthy. I mean at least wipe them down how hard is that. The room was surfaced cleaned only. We typically will clean and sanitize on arrival but the dirt that was left on the white rag was appalling. There were crumbs on the kitchen counter and the bed linens looked like they had been slept in😑 thankfully we carry linens when we travel. Finally it was unusually cold and I was so looking forward to sitting out by the fire pit.....unfortunately it was NEVER turned on. The very nice front desk agent on Sunday morning tried to turn it on however he had no luck.

It's a nice hotel. But I'm not sure about the price. It originally advertised a hot tub, that's since been filled in. They also advertised a pool and on site laundry services, they have been closed. Indefinitely. The only issue I can find with the rooms, are the air conditioning units. They're built into the wall right in front of the bed, blowing directly on to you. A bad thing if you have allergies.

This Hotel Is Dirty! The housekeepers are Dirty and so is the Housekeeping managers. Poor Front desk Service and the breakfast was terrible, Cold and half cooked. The Sitting area near kitchen in the lobby is Never clean, dead bugs laying in windows, floors and chairs. The Hallway floors Never vaccumm, and those elevators are full of gems. I've stayed here for a little over 8 months and watched how clean it had gotten to it just being a Dump now... plus their all Racist towards black American so Never again.

Very disappointed in this Marriott property! We had booked this specially for the pool since we had a reservation at another property and they called and said the pool was closed. So we cancelled that reservation and specifically called this property to enquire pool ws available and then booked it. We booked a 2 bed 2 bath suite with 2 toddlers who love swimming. But when we wanted to use the pool the next day it was closed and they said some issue. We could not use it for the entire duration of our stay. The manager said they would credit us with points worth one night but they did not. When i called after a month back to enquire about the points a lady rudely said on the fone that we just cant just give away a night wroth of points and said we could only do 5000 points and then hung up. Being marriott bonway members, totaly did not expect to be treated this way. Also the breakfast was not upto the mark, no bread or bagels were there and the pre-packed waffles were way too sweet. Not sure if its the property or the Marriott brand declining.

The hotel looks very nice and modern. I was impressed with the size of the rooms. Parking is free and the amenities are all there. My only problem with the place was their cleaning. On the surface it looks clean when you glance at everything, but once it the room, there was pet hair EVERYWHERE! I understand this hotel allows pets, but all guest don't want pet hair in their rooms. They need to do better cleaning of fur if they are going to allow pets.

The room was very clean and looked remodeled or very well kept up. Gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant. The only complaint was the breakfast. A lot of the food was petrified...must have been sitting awhile. One day, there was not a lot of milk, and the staff member who was restocking the food was never around. Since the hot food was not good, I resorted to eating cereal every day, and without milk on the last day, I just grabbed a muffin.

Was recently looking for a hotel to stay in Hunt Valley for an upcoming wedding. I forgot to write a review about my stay here last year! Wedding was Saturday afternoon, I called on Friday to see if I could check in early… was told it would not be a problem. Called back on Saturday was told the room would be ready early for us. We arrived at the hotel was told the room was not ready, suites could not have an early check in. THE MANAGER CALLED THE COPS ON ME!! She could not handle the problem her staff created. Other people in the lobby had to wait over one hour to get a new key for their room. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Even almost a year later this still makes no sense to me. If you are staying here for a wedding Good Luck. When coming back to the hotel after the wedding it reeked of marijuana. Maybe the Manager should have taken a puff

The senior manager, front desk personnel, and are courteous, honest, and professional. Rooms are clean and free of pests, and breakfast is always hot and on-time. Please note that this location no longer offers dry cleaning services, but for some reason keeps the laundry bags and forms in the room closets. This resulted in one guest's clothes being mistaken for trash when it was put outside his room. Fortunately, the senior manager and manager worked with us to resolve the issue and we are very happy with the outcome. As long as they act to remove the old dry cleaning bags and forms going forward, I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Hunt Valley for both standard and extended stays.

I do not give it five stars because the pool was closed and it looked like it was being used as a storage room. 😞

Quiet and Spacious!!! If you are going to stay in the Baltimore Area and have a good nights rest this is the place. I had the pleasure of staying for a few months was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are huge and we loved our space during our contract. Most of the Front-desk Staff was amazing, some not so much. A few of my packages we're lost in plain sight, but eventually located. Housekeeping was hit or miss if my regular person was out, nonetheless we wait a few days. A special "Thank You" to Simone (who had a beautiful baby boy during our stay), MyLynn (The Fixer), Susie (Great Personality, sw sweet), Jake, Nathan, Breonne (always helped with my puppies), Ms Belinda, Ms Tee and Veltina (THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Veltina made sure that we were taken care of even in her absence. She treated us like family.

My experience at my last stay was especially fantastic. Jake was an absolute pleasure - he went above and beyond with his customer service to help me with a specific situation. The entire staff is accommodating, helpful and kind. However, Jake really stood above and beyond in his customer service. Will definitely continue to stay here!

Super nice and friendly staff. Didn't offer a welcome gift or acknowledge we were elite members. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast is better than most locations.

Full context: I stayed here for a little over 3 months from Feb - May. Staff: Everyone was absolutely wonderful. Front desk staff was always responsive and attended to all of my needs whenever I asked for something. This is not a place where they are going to wait on you hand and foot. If you need something simply ask. Cleaning staff, night staff, and maintenance staff were always nice and did their job well. Room: Having a full size kitchen was my main reason for choosing this hotel to stay in. Kitchen was more than enough for my long stay. Bed and pillows were comfortable. My AC went out during my stay but they had it up and running within 24 hours. They even offered to swap my room in the meantime but it was not necessary in my opinion. Location: I had plenty of room in the lobby to do work as well as access to power outlets and internet. On really nice days, I worked outside in the courtyard. There was great lighting and access to internet and power outlets outside as well. Fire pit was a toss up as to whether it worked but never stopped anyone from having a nice sit down. Pool was under construction during my entire time there so I can't comment on that. I really could not recommend this place more for both short term stays or if you are in need of long term accomodations. I was displaced from my house for about 3 months while it was being worked on and while AirBnB was on option I'm SO glad I chose to stay at this hotel instead. Everyone made my stay as comfortable as possible and I enjoyed my time here and hope you will too.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms at a reasonable price. There were a few problems however. The furniture and rugs showed some sign of wear. Also our refrigerator and one of the TVs malfunctioned. This was quickly addressed by a conscientious technician who got both up and running again. The desk staff were professional and helpful.

Really enjoyed staying here. The staff is SUPER nice. There was an issue with my TV and they fixed it right away. The rooms are really spacious and clean as is the whole hotel.

I have been staying at the Marriott Residence Inn, on and off, since October 3rd. It has been a wonderful experience. The staff is fantabulous! Particularly, Jeniffer at the front desk. She has gone above and beyond to ensure my stay is comfortable and relaxing.

I visited a friend staying in this location. Her room was actually very pleasant. It had a nice little sitting area, a small kitchen area, a bed area and bathroom. It was quite comfortable visiting for several hours and I couldn't imagine staying there would also be pleasant. My friend also had no complaints. The view from the sixth floor was quite pretty. The location is near multiple restaurants and other shopping opportunities.

Family visiting from Boston, they booked this place, I was unfamiliar with it, but I absolutely loved it. Couldn't believe the detail, quality of room, amenities top rated staff, everything.

The room was nice, bed comfy. We had a suite. Our room was by the trash dumpster so we were awake earlier than planned by trash pick up. Great location though and reasonable price. Breakfast selection was decent. Wish they had coffee in the lobby available all the time. Our carpet was damp the entire time we were there or I'd give 5 stars. Likely shampooed since it's a pet friendly hotel. This isn't a luxury hotel but it's a nice place. We will stay there next time we're in that area for Shore Leave 44!

The staff was very nice . The food was awful . The room was expensive especially when the breakfast was so bad . Will look for a different place to stay next time . Not a good value .

Me, personally I like this place ..not perfect, but the staff are friendly, the hotel is generally quiet with well equipped rooms (that maybe need a bit of servicing)and the breakfast more that covers my requirements..I always recommend this place to my company and colleagues .

Just stayed here two nights with my husband. The hotel is clean, well-kept and super friendly. Free breakfast was also substantial. Great value and enjoyed the extra living space. Looking forward to staying in the future.

Im not sure if there has been a management change but this Residence is so much nicer than it was for a few years. The front desk staff starting with MyLynn were so accommodating and pleasant. They all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and safe. The rooms and hallways were much cleaner and the only reason I didnt give 5 stars in all categories was that they were supposed to clean the rooms every other day and missed a couple but I certainly understand as they were booked solid the whole time we were there. When I brought it to their attention they sent someone up right away.

Please avoid at all costs, especially if you work for the government or military. I booked via phone to get the government rate since I was visiting to work for the Baltimore government. I could have checked in online but instead trusted the in person staff, which was a big mistake. I arrived late at night so the staff rudely said they would change my nightly rate because I did not have a government ID issued (it was the first time visiting so of course I did not have one as they needed to take my photo and go through the process the next day). They also did not disclose this prerequisite during booking. I wasted 6 hours to get this corrected. Never again

The staff went out of the way to help us. We were there for 10days, to help with postoperative care for our local athlete. The surgery was performed at Medstar. The hotel and staff were very accommodating, very personalable, and incredibly gracious in each request. Would definitely recommend.

The staff is helpful and kind and it goes a long way. I stayed here 7 years ago and then again this past weekend. There was a renovation and they did a great job. Breakfast was not good. Lol. But there are plenty of options in the area. Even with bad breakfast options, the building, staff and amenities deserve 5 stars.
