Do visit for views of the water and Hannover Street Bridge. But while you’re here remember the tragic tale of West Covington Park. The City and the Aquarium spent millions recovering this old industrial waterfront property and create a verdant garden of native vegetation that would be a refuge for migratory birds, and for people. Amazingly, it was done well and it worked! Alas, then the City gave the park to Weller Development Partnership, which immediately bulldozed the property, drove off the wildlife, and planted a wasteland of lawn. This does not bode well for the waterfront areas of Port Covington, given that Weller is the prime developer, and they’ve vandalized the first park they got their hands on.

Beautiful and clean, a small safe place to spend a few minutes out doors in the big city. Just a few minutes away from busy downtown Baltimore, this quiet pocket of a park provides a private escape by the water. There is a great view of the water.

Wow, I didn't know this existed in Baltimore!!! Everyday there is new discovery of dope and cool spots in the City. I went down for the Vegan festival/Black fest. The venue sits over the water, it has a sand volleyball court, you can sit in Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. It has great views of the bridge. An over all great venue. I want to come for the Jazz concerts I heard about on Thursdays.

Wondy but nice to be on the waterfront with a view mostly of a park across the way. Of course you also see the hanover bridge and 95 mostly it's quant, untraveled waters

Well, of course I'm going to give this place 5-stars. I've attended a couple of events here such as Jazzy Summer Nights, Reggae RiseUp, and my very own, Vegan SoulFest. This park is perfectly located and the waterfront and art installations are amazing. They have a sandbox to play volley ball. We use it for the children to play in at our festival. When the park is not rented out for events, the public comes in to walk their dogs, sit on the chairs and look at the water, nature watch, read a book, or walk some laps. Whatever you decide to do there, it's tranquil. You'll be at peace.

My son invited me to join him and his family on their weekend fishing trip. It was so peaceful, serene, and relaxing. I will bring a blanket next time. The only drawback is apparently West Covington Park is privately owned with restrictions that weren't visibly posted such as park hours and no grills allowed (of any size). Yet, I will visit again and again.

I came here for Jazzy summer nights and had a great time. This was my first time experiencing this event, and I will definitely be back next summer when it starts back up. I love the artwork they have displayed throughout the park. If you want to sit and enjoy the view, there are chairs around the water. Baltimore has some hidden gems, and this is definitely one.

My favorite park in Baltimore city! People are respectful, and everyone seems to have a good time here playing sports or practicing Yoga!

The only issue with The Vegan Soulfood Festival was that the food trucks were way too congested. Overall, this was the most beautiful experience, and the trip was worth it.

I was here recently for a Pit Beef Festival. It was a lovely day! I've never been there t any other time, so I can't speak to anything about the park or area outside if a (very well run!) event

A beautiful wide open space that is conveniently located . When I visited people were playing volleyball while others were just relaxing in the sun enjoying the the beautiful evening. There is plenty of parking and they served food and adult beverages .

I've lived in this area for over 5 years and never knew this park existed. It was fairly empty, which is a nice change of pace considering most parks have tons of people. There are some areas that look ideal for casual fishing, if that's your thing. I'll say make sure to bring sunscreen and a hat, as there aren't a lot of trees or shade to shelter under. It's also right by Hanover street bridge, so expect a little bit of traffic noise. There were plenty of seats by the water and made for a decent afternoon visit.
