Joined exactly 1 month ago and I’m really happy with the overall experience, facility and people! Say hello to my trainer Shelby, she kicks my butt into gear twice a week. Iv lost weight, gained a ton of confidence and muscle while working with her! It’s a pleasure working out in this clean facility with newly installed air purifiers, beautifully lit yoga room (killer Vinyasa on Fridays with Abir), high end equipment, huge pool, kids play room, recovery room with hydro massage tables... yes, this place is literally my mini day spa. When the world becomes too much... this is my place to burn some stress.

I have been a loyal member of Brick Bodies ever since I moved to Cockeysville, but my recent experience has left me incredibly disappointed and frustrated. It is with a heavy heart that I share this review to shed light on the unfortunate incident that occurred during my time as a member. Just a day ago, I encountered a payment issue with Brick Bodies. Despite my willingness to resolve the matter promptly, the staff was unable to process a payment from my credit card. I communicated my intention to make the payment the very next day, but what happened next truly shocked me. The following day, when I attempted to settle my dues with a new card, I was hit with an additional $10 fine as a late fee. To make matters worse, the manager was present during this ordeal, and her behavior was nothing short of disappointing. Despite my polite request to waive the $10 late fee, she displayed a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. Her ignorance and indifference toward my predicament were deeply disrespectful, especially considering my long-standing commitment to the gym. Brick Bodies is supposed to be a place of fitness, well-being, and customer satisfaction. However, my recent experience has shattered this perception entirely. As a loyal member who has frequented this gym for an extended period, I expected better treatment and understanding from the staff, especially in a situation where I was willing to rectify the issue promptly. I sincerely hope that Brick Bodies takes this feedback seriously and reevaluates its customer service policies. No member should be subjected to such treatment, and I trust that my unfortunate experience serves as a wake-up call for the management to prioritize customer satisfaction and fair treatment above all else. Until such changes are made, I am left with no choice but to reconsider my membership at Brick Bodies.

Loved the gym! Recently was told guests aren’t able to come in before 8am which I think is absurd or should at least be in the contract. I pay full membership price if there is a time period guest can only be in the gym it should in my membership agreement. I choose Brick because of the hours which is a huge disappointment.

This gym has everything you'd expect in a gym. All different kinds of treadmills, ellipticals and stationary bikes. There is a room just for classes on stationary bikes. There is a complete set (often more than 1) of weight machines and hand weights. There's a room just for Barre and Yoga classes, Another room has classes with weights, different types of aerobics and Zumba. Plenty of Les Mills classes. Child Care. Excellent, experienced personal trainers. Olympic sized pool next to always warm pool. Jacuzzi also always warm. Men's and Women's sauna. Locker rooms. Showers. Private changing rooms. Water fountains. HydroMassage to calm sore muscles. A pure fruit juice bar And, for an extra fee, a Recovery Room for more healing after a tough work out.

RUN. Horrible management, no customer service at ALL. Nearly impossible to cancel… In June I suffered a moderately severe concussion in a BB pool during a class. The instructor never noticed I hit my head. I reached out to management and nobody ever followed up. I emailed AND called multiple times. Finally after weeks of being ignored I requested my membership be cancelled. Nobody responded. By September. I called the 833- customer service and they told me to use the link on website to request a cancellation. It went through and I received an email confirmation. Then I was hit two weeks later with an “annual fee”. I called. Was told management would call me back. They didn’t. I emailed. They never emailed back. It is now December and my membership has FINALLY been deactivated after months of being billed for a gym I wasn’t even going to. The management here is awful. I do not recommend.

Poor service. Very tough to cancel the membership. Has requested months ago to cancel the membership in person, but credit card still being charged. Has called multiple times asking to cancel the membership, call bing hung up. Now submitted online membership cancel request, still waiting for confirmation.

While enjoyed being a member, it’s been an absolutely miserable experience trying to cancel our account. I would not advise allowing them to keep your credit card or any account on file. Each time we called during Covid to cancel they pleaded with us to just freeze our account. With hopes that we’d be able to continue once we felt safe, we froze again an additional time and then we decided to cancel. When I spoke with Angela from membership on the phone I gave her permission to fill out and sign for me, and the paperwork mysteriously never went through. When we were charged a few weeks later, we called and it was explained that since we didn’t have it written in email confirmation it was our fault. While frustrating, we understood that was on us since we didn’t have “proof” of our phone call so canceled on our end using the online platform. Well guess what? We are still being charged by BB. Each time we call we are given a new run around and fed more BS. Now London Wilkins tells us for the first time (quite passive aggressively if you ask me) after 3 months of an absolute run around that we need to buy out our contract of over $150. This was never discussed in any of the many times we tried to cancel. The communications have been maddening. We have spent so much time and energy on this we couldn’t imagine not warning others who may be considering joining. Do not save your credit card on file with them.

Brick 🧱 Bodies is super clean . Younger folks say this place is “ sick “ . In a good way lol. Pool is clean, locker room too. Tons of classes and a great app. Hydro massage machines and machines on the gym floor that are good for folks with joint issues!

NO STOP DON'T DO IT unless yu enjoy being robbed and mislead than please join. My family of three decided to join brick bodies with intentions of starting a journey of fitness after touring the gym with a lady named Angela my family agreed we'd give it a go. We we lead to a office to discuss pricing. We were told full price for me half for my husband and free for our daughter payments 39.99 bi weekly, one payment due at signing. In a way I was suspicious because of how fast Angela was speeding through the process deflecting from direct questions of how the pricing worked by compliments and laughter, but feeling the gym had genuine intentions we signed up!! Unfortunately because of work flow after a month my family still hadn't found time to get to the gym so two days after I made a payment I called to cancel (which I was told was easy to do during signing) I was told by Angela to follow a email link she sent me and do so ,never mentioning a canceling fee or any other fee to satisfy the cancelation, I did and received a email back of conformation...just two days afterwards my account was deducted 78.00!!!! I called asking why was there a withdrawal after canceling and why when I was doing so i wasn't informed about a after cancelation fee and why at signing wasn't i clear on tht? the other unprofessional employee says yu signed a agreement yu would commit to two months at signing. It was then I realized what all the fast talking ,compliments and giggles towards my husband Angela used deflecting from my questions were for. I guess seeing a black overweight family cancelation conversation weren't of a priority for Brick bodies. I DONOT RECOMMEND unless yu want to be lied to, purposely misled ,and robbed with no gun during cancelation.

Hands down best gym ever. This place has so much to offer and continues to improve! The people, the equipment, and the classes here are what make this gym so amazing. If you’re considering getting a membership here, this is your sign to do it!! I had Erika V as my personal trainer for awhile and she was outstanding! I would’ve never thought I’d be able to do deadlifts if it weren’t for her. She has taught me so much about fitness and I couldn’t be more grateful. She always motivated me to do my best and pushed me past my limits. Thanks, Erika and Brick Bodies!

If you are concerned about Covid, I would not recommend this gym. I went on a Wednesday, arrived around 3:30pm, left at 4:40pm. While jogging, I noticed very few members wearing mask. They were taking, laughing, joking and had no intention to wear a mask. I heard one member. (55-60 years) yell to another, to take the damn mask off. It’s was craziness. It was crowded with minimal staff to ensure Covid protocols were followed, no one wiped down the machines. 😩. My experience was disappointing.

I've been coming here with my wife and son ever since they opened. You definitely cannot beat the value and the always updating selection of cardio equipment, weights, workout themed areas (The Yard, TRX, private rooms for yoga) and the amenities. Little Bricks kids club was great to take our son to from infant up until age 8. The staff was always knowledgeable and our son Liam looked forward to going every time as they would draw with him and as he got older play basketball and soccer on the little kids court. The security for dropoff/pickup is excellent (they print out a name tag with your name and exact check-in and which parent checked the child in and they will ask you where you will be to work out in case there is an issue so you can feel relaxed knowing your kid is in good hands and having fun while you work out.) They are constantly renovating. They recently took out the basketball court area and put in its place a pretty sick turf field to train pretty much anyone of any age or athletes and they equipped the room with a ton of new racks, along with sleds for push/pull and a decent amount of atypical equipment for most gyms these days. There's a room you can box in as well as spaces to take classes, if that's your thing. The men's locker room amenities are great as you don't have to bring a lock as they have a 4 digit code built into every locker that you set when you get there and it is very easy to use. (If you ever forget your code, which I have done a few times the staff is quick to help) Speaking of the staff, almost everyone is friendly and there to help. Before and even after Covid hit, they are constantly wiping and disinfecting cardio/ weight equipment in case members elect not to. Staff have a smile on their face and will make you feel welcome and not once in 10 years have they been pushy when it comes to personal training or trying to upsell anything. Always a polite hello As you come in and exit and whatever they can help you with they will. I have never paid for a personal training lesson but I've spoken to members who have and I would agree with them that all of the personal trainers are extremely nice and knowledgeable. Always there to answer any questions me or my wife have ever had and happy to demonstrate proper technique on any piece of equipment. We have had the pleasure of getting to know one trainer over the years, Jamaal Dickerson. Jamaal is an extremely knowledgeable trainer with a plethora of experience. He gave my wife a free fitness consultation with body composition, workout planning and full nutritional analysis and it really got her going and motivated her to where she loves to go there nearly daily. Vicky Brick does a great job running the business and anytime we've ever had any billing mistakes they have been quick to help and correct. Overall, the facilities meet and exceed the cost of membership and they really put attention into the little details that most fitness clubs do not.

Brick Bodies as a program, Brick Perks, where you receive points just for going. Through Brick Perks I saved $44 by redeeming my points for awesome gifts as opposed to spending my money to purchase items. Customer support was absolutely awesome and the redemption process was super easy and my items were quickly mailed! The value is great! I was able to get items I needed just by going to the gym! 😊

Updated: Kurt (operations manager) has effectively addressed my concerns with the boxing studio. Not only did he personally reach out to me, but he also devised an interim solution while we await repairs. I think Kurt's conflict resolution skills prove him an exceptional asset to Brick Bodies. I look forward to this boxing studio returning to its full potential soon...

Fantastic Facility in a beautiful area. That said; It's easy to say that a Gym is great but what I think makes this Gym exceptional is the evolution of this Gym over a long time of living in Baltimore from 2010 to 2023 /2024 and I think that represents a solidarity of the Gym not only as a place of Fitness but as a Company. Drive and motivation to deliver consistency is a refreshing thing to see in Business and this Gym, I think, is a good example. I love the Astro-Turf Room where most seem to gravitate for it's welcoming and interesting amenities. I think that's great that people are taking more attention to the skills that can be developed at any level from basic hypertrophy to even Amateur or Professional Athletics. I've always said that more Gyms should adapt to using TANK Sleds and this Gym has 2 and so points for exceeding expectations are more than deserved in that instance. The TANK Sleds are incredibly versatile and hugely beneficial in support of Amateur / Professional Athletics to simply building and developing phenomenal Strength and Conditioning with great and functional results. This will be great during the cold Winter Months that I love so much in conditioning for endurance Cycling at high altitude and long distance. I could go on and without express that point too exhaustive; I would say that Brick Bodies offers the most progressive and encouraging atmosphere with the most quality and inspiring equipment to propel any goal(s) that Anyone might have coming from no Exercise background or experience at all to a high-level Boxer with 12 Years of Training for instance to perform and improve at some level that is noticeable and significant. I like that my 7-Day Free Trial includes an actual Key-Tag that allows for Me to check in like a Regular Member would as that also makes that easier to quickly get in, get checked in and get to your Workout. The Juice-Bar is fantastic and the Kombucha especially is excellent. The Greens Juices look of higher quality *in my opinion* than some competitors in the area and that's saying something for the Timonium / Cockeysville / Hunt Valley area. The only thing that I would change or love is an outdoor area to do anything like tire-flips and sledgehammers but that's what my Bicycle is for! I wonder what the interest would be in a Cold-Plunge as not many Gyms anywhere really seem to adopt that, though that again seems like a niche interest. The Pool looks great! I need some Trunks and I can try that out but other than that; The parking and area itself is a huge selling point in my opinion as Who doesn't love this area? Winter Time will be gorgeous as always and I hope that Brick Bodies is packed to the rafter for it! Good times and good things ahead with this Gym!

I’ve been a member for over 5-6 years, this place used to be good, they use to value their members by giving discounts if you refer someone! Now these days they give you some points, funny part is I try to take my son to the gym which originally the person who signed me up says you can bring the guest, so last time they redeem all the points I used to have and they told me I have to pay $20 each time I’m bringing him in. What a joke! Im planning to leave this place after all these years, my family and friends planing to move out of here.

Decent gym, poor customer service. Most of the times folks at the front desk won’t say hi, just ignoring you while you scanning your membership card. After talking to a shift manager, nothing changed

If you go to do a tour, be prepared to give them your full name, birthday, phone number, email, house address, and a picture of you as well as your license… to just walk around and see the place. We walked out - it is so wild that places are requiring this much information before you even commit to joining. People are way to comfortable giving up all their data these days…just think twice. They told us it was about liability but I just do not buy that - we have toured other gyms without telling them our house address and everything else. My child did swim lessons recently and all I had to do was sign a waiver as her guardian…. That is significantly more “liability” than a gym tour. Just saying.

  • 2/5 Manisha B. 2 years ago on Google
I went for two weeks continuously for my weekly swim lessons and the instructor didn't turn up and neither did the assigned person contacted me. I requested for refund and got my refund after three months and everybody out there denied to give me any ETA on my refund. After few phone calls, they even stopped picking up the calls and said they can't help me. It is highly non professional gym so think twice.

I attended this gym for years, and I absolutely loved it while I was a member. The issue came when I attempted to cancel my membership. Every few months I will check my account and find that they have started charging me monthly fees again. Each time I reach out to a manager, they apologize and tell me that they don't know what happened. I guess they have no interest in figuring out what happened in order to prevent it, and so I keep getting charged. At this point I've had more than ten unauthorized charges and have been trying to get this resolved for over a year. It is time consuming and incredibly frustrating. I recommend that you avoid this gym simply because you will have to be vigilant in making sure they don't keep charging you after you cancel.

  • 1/5 Crystal L. 8 months ago on Google
**NOT FOR MOTHERS** They have childcare, but when I went to use it, the childcare was closed. Highly inconvenient and it costs extra. Things just have to get easier for MOMS. Never in my life have been things harder or more inconvenient. If you provide childcare, provide childcare. I shouldn’t have to work around YOUR schedule. Work around mine. I finally canceled my membership after never using it. Like I wasn’t tired enough. I brought my kid to the gym with me and had to turn around and leave. Zero out of five stars.

I am big fan of Greg Plitt. Does someone know if he went there? I know he was growing up in Lutherville. Does maybe owner know something about him going there? I will be very thankful for answer. Best regards far away from Poland ;)

Update: I've been going for a couple of months now and still very much like it. The aqua classes are great and there are other good class options for those of us who are working with old knees or aren't quite ready for high impact. Most people are respectful of COVID and wipe down the machines when they are done. I've only been once but so far it's great. Lockers have locks so you don't have to bring one, some machines count your reps, showers look nice & everything was very clean.

*heavy sigh* This is how the bathroom looked when I walked into the gym this afternoon. I’ve been really trying to give this gym a chance. There are management issues, customer service issues, billing issues, roofing issues (several leaks in the gym consistently from the roof), and bathroom issues to say the least. I’m unsure of whose managing the gym, but they have poor standards.

Love working out here but the one thing that is a caveat is the amount of high schoolers running around unchecked. Their behavior is distracting and therefor dangerous. There needs to be better supervision around the younger patrons.

  • 5/5 Dee H. 1 year ago on Google
Love this place, they have everything you look for in a gym. I was a member at Merritt which is right down the street from me, they cost the same and don't provide nowhere near what BB offers.

I am the owner of Anywhere Headlight Restoration and I came as a guest at Brick Bodies in Timonium MD. At the welcome desk they greet you with a towel, and before you leave they invite you to their state of the art recovery room where you get a 20 minute session on their reclining massage chairs. Absolutely amazing 😎👍 Egheosa Anywhere Headlight Restoration

I've been a member of their Padonia location for years. This is one of my favorite gyms. Very clean and spacious, I've always been able to get my workout in even during their busiest hours. The fact they have multiple sets of equipment for commonly used workouts like multiple flat Bench stations and Squat stations is a big plus. Along with the have one of the largest selections of dumb bells I've seen. The turf area is the largest one I've seen in a commercial gym and allows for a variety of training. They have a swimming pool, a room full of heavy bags if you're into combat training, and separate rooms for cycling, yoga, and aerobic training. They also have a sauna and steam room! If your budget allows I definitely recommend the Brick Bodies Padonia location

This is really the best gym ever. Great atmosphere, plenty of equipment thats kept clean and upgraded when needed. There are so many group classes available and the staff is always friendly. They will make it a point to learn your name and create genuine connections with you. The amenities are icing on the cake I love being able to treat myself to a massage, sauna or steam room session after a long workout. Keep up the great work guys, Brick Bodies is my happy place! 😍
