THIS IS NOT A JOKE! BEWARE!! It is unimaginable how disgusting this place is. No refund after 10 minutes is the first sign. If that doesn't scare you away, the cockroaches that scatter when the lights go on or the ones squashed on the wall probably will. Nothing had been cleaned except for the new sheets. It smells like old cigarette smoke. Lamps won't have shades, the furniture wouldn't be accepted by the homeless. No phone, no trash can, and 3 dirty towels. And when you check out, they'll go check your room (as if you could have made it worse) before giving you your $20 deposit back. The city of Eureka should be ashamed it exists, let alone be on the main street. If it still exists the next time I drive thru then I'll have lost all faith in the health department. The most shocking part was that the tweekers next door really weren't that bad..

Last place to stay. Staff great! Room is roach motel! Killed 2 of them! Smell so bad I never got ride of it till I left. Drug long term renter neighbors in other rooms. Last place to rest it you have no where to go! Again,the staff was awesome! They tried very hard.

They were nice until moving day where the tried to cheat us out close to $800.00 The manager tried to tell me no refunds after telling us several times he would refund our money. After we checked out, he told me there would be no refund as we paid monthly. He even threatened to call the police on me and to never come back. So fine, I didn't rather I sent an email to the California attorney general's office. Long story short, I got my money!! Had them meet me at the police station where the owner still tried to talk the refund down!! What Sheisters!!

The owners are kind and try their best. They keep out unwanted thieves and drama. The rooms aren't high quality. But they are clean, your things are safe, and basically you get what you pay for. Not the nicest in the area, but by far one of the best for the buck.

The back rooms it’s disgusting TERRIBLE worst than Penitentiary!!!!!!! They gotta do something unbelievable!!!! Nasty 🤢!!!! Disgusting !!!

There is expanding spray foam throughout the room against the walls where the wall meets the floor and there's cockroaches and they're highly expensive

Very rundown, only three out of four blades on the ceiling fan, no light fixture over the bulb. One of three light bulbs in the bathroom, a door handle only on one side of the bathroom. The bathtub was very hard to turn on, it was clean but very filthy. Dings and dents all over. BUT WAS THE ONLY PLACE IN TOWN I COULD PAY CASH AND JUST A TWENTY DOLLAR KEY DEPOSIT. I WAS BLESSED FOR THAT...

Not sure if it was the manager. But he was handsome. He gave my my money back after I said I didn’t want the room. I feel bad cause this place needs a lot of help.

Quiet, private rooms, well maintained and clean. Very cheap pricing, well worth it. Helpful, friendly staff, with extremely convenient location, easily access most of Eureka, with many stores in walking distance. Would highly recommend

Broadway Motel is well groomed, the managers are friendly, polite, and quickly respond to requests and needs. The rates are reasonable. Their are no vagrants allowed on property, which means it's quite and peaceful. Enjoy your stay.

I walked in, flipped on the light switch and nothing happened. Then I struggled to find a switch on a tiny lamp they set out amidst a tangle of cords. The light turned on and a roach scurried by my foot. The floors were sticky and there was no curtain on the bathroom window. The comforter was full of holes and the sheets and pillows were visibly dirty. I took a shower and water came from the bath faucet and the shower head, the temperature has three settings, lava hot, Luke warm, and cold. I walked out of the bathroom and noticed THREE roaches crawling on top of the bed. It was then I decided I was better off sleeping in the car. I went to the office to find it abandoned and noticed a sign which read no refunds after 10 minutes. I put the key in the mail slot and left. Maybe they will use the $70 they robbed me of to do the bed laundry. Who knows.
