Such a unique perspective of the redwoods! The sky trail allows you to walk 100 feet up in the air in the redwood forest in Eureka. The best thing about this trail is that it’s all wheelchair accessible. Even if you are afraid of heights yes he’s a must see a traction! The trail is very safe for kids and very memorable experience. From the top of the bridge you can see wildlife and the lush green forest blow. This is a great addition to the zoo!

Beautiful experience, the park and zoo are amazing. The staff at the zoo is helpful, polite, the food is very good. I really enjoyed my visit to this place. Sky walk is an experience that my family and I enjoyed so much! We are planing to come back when the 🐻 area is open.

This is worth the price of admission! The walk really puts you in touch with nature and the explanatory signs along the way connect you to the science and preservation efforts. If you're visiting the state or national parks to see the redwoods, then this is a "must" stop as well.

Amazing!! Lots of fun and interesting animals to interact with. The bridge was fantistic and we even watched a bear do acrobatics 60 feet in the air.

Nice zoo and the newly opened skywalk. This is right in the middle of residential area. But we’ll maintained. Zoo was OK, nothing great. But the Skywalk among redwoods was amazing. The height it takes you in short walk is unbelievable! Worth the visit to the zoo only for this walk. Ample parking on the road. They appear to be doing more work on the park next to zoo, which will be pretty nice!

This was worth the price to enter the zoo. We walked it 3 times. We had all ages from 2 years to 60 years and everyone loved it. I'm not a fan of heights but this was safe and secure. There were employees at almost every stop answering questions and helped take a few photos of our group. The redwoods are breathtaking and beautiful. It's such a cool experience being able to walk amongst these giants still looking up with many more tree still to see. Little cold on a summer July day, bring a sweater.

Great little zoo and ecological preserve. Regular admission is a little elevated at $25 per person, but there are discounts for seniors and folks on EBT. They are adding bear and coyotes.

This is a short but very pleasant walk among the lower third of the Redwood Grove. It has educational signs all over. A part of the sky walk is wheelchair accessible, but the rest is not. This is the "adventure" part with hanging bridges that do move a bit. People who are afraid of heights might not enjoy this very much. It is a great experience to be higher up among these ancient trees. Dress in layers since it is much cooler among the trees.

Worth the zoo entrance fee just for this! The sky walk makes you feel like you're up in the trees and give prespective in how giant the Redwoods really are.

This was a very cool experience. It's fully accessible and doable even for a person who diehard like heights or suspension bridges. The zoo is fun too - tiny, but lovely.

The skywalk is inside the Sequoia Zoo. The entry ticket to the zoo includes the skywalk as well. As you go around the zoo watching different animals, you will come across a wooden pathway that leads you to the entrance of the skywalk. The walk itself is beautiful and take you through age old redwood trees on high platform and suspended bridges. It is pretty safe and well made structure so don’t get flustered at all. Go for it. The air is crisp and the view of the greenery around is just heart warming. For the tickets It’s 27 bucks for adults and 12 for kids. Humboldt county people get $10 discounts.

What a fantastic zoo/park! The zoo was quiet and not over crowed. The animals were accessible to touch in some cases, and easy to view in all situations. The tree bridges were amazing. The kids and I loved the thrill of feeling like we were in a tree house.

It has construction currently for the bear habitat, but except that the place is awesome. The Cafe serves ice cream and different foods, and a lot of different habitats. Overall a great experience. (Not to mention the skywalk)

This Skywalk is awesome. Kinda scary if you're afraid of heights but definitely safe. It's pretty high up so be prepared to take some good pics. Great scenery. I love these trees🌲🌲

Beautiful place and amazing sky walk.. the entrance is $24 PP but definitely worth the views and the walk. The zoo has really new and different animals/birds which I have never seen in my life. Worth visiting for the kids for sure.

Definitely a must see if you are in the area. Being up with the redwoods is an amazing experience. The suspension bridges get more wobbly as you progress but still extremely safe and can’t say enough about the views.

Little pricey for normal admission, but we got a discount with our EBT cards and got in at $4 each, which was totally worth it. The sky walk was awesome! Random mix of animals but still really cool. Lots of cool little photo op things for my kids. Overall great experience!

An awesome zoo, a great place to explore with kids. My niece and nephew loved the petting zoo. The sky walk bridge was a great experience, reminds me of the ewoks homes in Star Wars.

Very cute little zoo. We got there at 10am and most of the animals were inside or sleeping. Around 11:30am most of the animals were out. We saw the red pandas, bears, the otters and we used the redwood sky walk. Very nice and very cute. The entrance is expensive $72 for 2 adults and one kid.

This was a delightful little stop in Eureka, California, where my husband put aside his fear of heights, and went on the sky bridge, and he was a little scared on the longer suspended bridges, but he was a big boy, and he made it all the way across and said it wasn’t as bad as he thought. The Bears are really active and it was a great view to watch them goofing around.

Quaint zoo. We did not see it all as we event strictly for the Skywalk. We did stop and spend time at the red panda exhibit. The keeper, Nate, was awesome at sharing information and teaching about the animals.

Great for a 1-2 hour visit. Small but has some great quality exhibits. The red panda was gorgeous, the otters were very playful, and the parrots were very talkative. The sky walk lets you walk above the bear enclosure and you can see them doing their bear stuff.

The Sequoia Skywalk is a humbling experience. Walking amongst the giant sequoias.was breathtaking and made me realize how insignificantly short my existence has been compared with these massive trees. The experience is coupled with the Sequoia Zoo and right next to a free park for kids to play. The zoo isn’t comparable to SF or San Diego zoos in that they don’t have ‘safari’ type animals such as giraffes, hippos, lions, elephants, etc. But toddlers will most likely love it as ours did. The skywalk doesn’t take you more than a few stories high, but it still caused sight moments of panic for my partner as she is afraid of heights. Parts of the skywalk feel more secure as the bridges are held by tight steel cabling. Other parts have bridges that are more ripe and plank type, allowing for more movement, like those at a children’s park. The skywalk isn’t long, but it’s beautiful and fills one with awe. The air quality is incredible and the sheer peacefulness makes one long for simpler times. Children are welcomed if accompanied by an adult, but strollers are prohibited.

Great place for families! Go check it out. Cute animals like the otters, red panda, screamer bird, the barnyard. The skywalk is so cool!

A totally unique way to experience the redwood forest and get a new sense about how tall and massive these majestic trees really are. Safe, but quite exciting to cross from tree to tree.

It is a really neat experience for every age. I loved being so high in the Red woods, and the sky walk was beautifully constructed. It's not very long, which makes it perfect for kids. Although short, it is a unique experience that I recommend if spending time in Eureka.

Not a lot of animals but it was very fun for my grandkids. Can't wait for the bear enclosure to be finished. Will be coming back to the sky walk to see it.

Sequoia Park Zoo Skywalk is nice and new. Great on a sunny day and the zoo can take an hour or two.

  • 4/5 Freddie C. 1 year ago on Google
Wow the skywalk was a great experience. We spend a little bit over an hour in our visit here. It’s a small zoo in which they are continuing to expand their exhibits. Worth the price to enjoy your walk up in the Redwoods.
