This is always my favorite hotel to stay at in the area when I travel for work. The beds here are especially comfortable in comparison to other hotels. The gym is a little small but it gets the job done. I really enjoy being able to walk to several restaurants and being a short drive away from major stores / the movie theatre. The breakfast is a little too simple but it’s standard for the chain. The staff are always nice here too - I’ve never had an issue with anyone. A lot of people stay here for work and you often run into the same characters every week - which is a good sign in my book.

Everything about our stay was top notch. Great employees from the front desk to the maids. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We had a large group for a funeral. They gave us a discount and let us hang out in the dining area whenever we wanted. They made us extra coffee and best of all were happy to do it. Great experience!

The location in close to food and retail. Access is a bit tricky because of the geography but the roads are wide and well marked. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, properly stocked, and comfortable. Parking was ample and easy. There was even a nice view! The breakfast was simple but even here there was an emphasis on quality. Nothing here feels compromised for "value" and the overall impression here is of attentive quality. Yet it remains afordable.Staying here is a problem. Once you stay here, any other Holiday Inn Express seems just a bit substandard and shabby...

One of the best hotels that we have stayed in. The staff were welcoming and the facilities very clean and beautiful. Accolades to the housekeeping staff. The pride in their work shows. A little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive.

I've stayed at several Holiday Inn Express hotels and this one compares nicely. The outdoor dining area is a nice perk. I was disappointed to learn that breakfast ends at 9 on weekdays since I'm a night worker and it's hard to make it back in time. However the staff has their breakfast at that time and no one scolded me for arriving late and joining them. So they got back the fifth star I had considered removing from the review. I had no negative experiences here. I didn't interact with staff very much but when I did some were friendly and others were standoffish. Everything else was as expected.

Nov. 2023. I stayed 2 nights at this hotel and would absolutely recommend it! Lisa, at the front desk, went above and beyond for us. It’s because of her we stayed 2 nights! She gave us great info on local bicycle routes and recommendations on a great place for dinner. The king room was amazing. The bed slept wonderfully and the room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. We even used the guest laundry room, which was extremely helpful and convenient.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast had tons of options. Swimming pool looked very clean. Overall great experience!

Teresa Rios and Greg at the front desk really helped me out in a last-minute jam. They were incredibly helpful, friendly and a great reflection of a great place that I stay all the time. The hotel is great, the people are even better!

This place deserves 5 ✨ because it goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. Rooms are clean and the breakfast, although not amazing, does the trick. The location is very convenient, close to shops and restaurants. The walls are not the thickest but the noise is not terrible. The mattress could be better.

Basically, the service desk workers give false information regarding the hotel & its services. When our room needing cleaning and supplies you have to keep asking day in and day out. When the housekeeper finally came in our room to clean she walked in with an attitude saying this is not her room. Dint even greet us or apologize that we waited so long to get service! Then throws the dirty sheets on our stuff saying it's just goin to get put back on the bed anyway!!!!! What!?!?! That's dirty and should be washed! But ok zero out of 5 stars for me!!!!!!!

Our room was super clean and the location is very convenient. We got the queen suit and it easy accommodated our family of 5.. 2 queen beds and one queen pullout. The Lenin’s were clean and the washrooms looked nicely sensitized.

It's clean and the front desk staff seems friendly. Location is good - right off the highway and you can walk to the Texas roadhouse right next door for a casual bite, in the same parking lot. Breakfast was good, its your standard holiday inn express breakfast with plenty of options for adults and kids. Would have rated 5 stars except the room service was lacking. Even though they came in to clean, replace the water bottles and switch out the towels, they didn't bother to make the bed. My husband asked about this when he checked out and they told him they stopped doing it after covid. Why?? Apparently just another way to cut costs and blame it on covid. Since the pandemic it seems the quality at so many businesses has declined even though prices have increased with inflation. We came home from a long day out and were disappointed that our bed wasn't made up when this has always been such a standard service at every hotel. 🫤

Wifi never works correctly. Rooms are never cleaned properly. && The pool is absolutely disgusting. I work outta town && have stayed here 5 days a week for the last month. The pool has yet to be cleaned. When costumer service was told about it they got an attitude and started arguing about it. Would not recommend staying here.

This is a beautiful, clean hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Small things make a difference. Night lights in bathrooms, heating units with fan that will stay on if you want instead of that loud on and off cycle. Very clean pool/spa/gym. Of course comfortable beds and very tastefully decorated lobby/common areas.

Greeted by a friendly staff member. She even helped my husband get his correct hilton honors reward number correct. We got to the room, and it smelled like heavy cigarette smoke. We asked for a room change, and she did it without giving us a hard time and apologized for it. The staff was always friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast was always great looking. The 2nd room didn't smell! The beds were comfortable and plush.

Fantastic place to stay with families. Very clean, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, comfortable beds, free parking and close to every shop you can imagine. Carpet in our room felt slightly damp but I think it had just been cleaned which isn't a bad thing! They have a no pet policy too which suits us.

Outstanding hotel. A bit out of the way, north of Scranton (if you are traveling south) but everything about this hotel is EXCELLENT. Clean, comfortable room, very pleasant staff. On-site parking and exercise room. Hotel is located only a few dozen feet from a Texas Roadhouse restaurant, a pizza restaurant, and other dining options. We were on a four-day vacation in New England; this was the nicest property by far in which we stayed. Room was very very spacious and organized with excellent lighting.

The room was very nice and clean. Everything was in good condition, but the bed was very soft and not firm. Liked seeing the cleaning person take pride in signing. The service was great, breakfast was good. The location is poor however and difficult to reach, especially late arrival at night.

My partner and I had a wonderful few stays here! Extremely clean, comfortable, and safe. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently located near Target, Walmart, and lots of restaurants. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Perfect room size for our family (of 5) and the high ceilings made it feel even bigger. Great attention to detail with small things - great breakfast options, clean pool, outdoor patio (great for enjoying breakfast or complimentary cookies!), and eco-friendly soap/shampoo setups in the bathroom. Located near restaurants and a mall, so seems like a good location (Scranton is surprisingly scenic) but were just passing through, so i don't know if it's well-located otherwise. Not a lot of staff interactions, but the ones we met were friendly and helpful.
