Absolutely lovely. You'll be wowed by all of the beautiful pastries, but do try the pomegranate stew (fesenjoon) if it's being served.

My girlfriend and I were visiting from philadelphia and happened to find this gem of a place. Their food is some of the best I've ever had in recent memory. Their flavors are so vibrant with really unique flavors. The owner makes all of her food with her own recipes and fresh ingredients. She's extremely passionate about her food and it shows. We were only in town for 3 days but it was so good that we wanted to return before we left. The pomegranate stew was a highlight - we couldn't believe it was just walnuts, pomegranate, and beans. The chef must be doing something magical in that kitchen. The meatball piroshki was sweet, savory, and so flaky. The hibiscus mojito was tart and refreshing. Sadly, they're only open 3 days a week and dont have a location in Philly - otherwise we would come every day. We will definitely try to visit Durham again just to come here. It was that good!

Delicious savory Persian food run by a single lady who could be your mother. Menu varies by day. I'm eating my way through the menu and it's all been excellent.

I remember the first time I looked at this restaurant on Google, and I was so confused. How can they only be open three days a week for three hours at a time? Are they really this good? The answer is YES. If you’re looking for food with a ton of flavor, vegetarian/vegan options, and the sweetest owner to chat with while you’re in there, you came to the right place. They have a few tables outside for outdoor seating, and as stated above, they are only open from 11-2 (as of 4/2022). It is the perfect spot for lunch if you’re looking for something healthy and extremely flavorful. A wouldn’t miss in my opinion!

Amazing food, the pomegranate stew was my favorite & my girlfriend loved the smoked eggplant. Both come with spiced rices, with the tadig crust. Delicious!

I went here for the first time today and the owner/chef, Mally, was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. She cooks authentic Persian food and everything I had was absolutely delicious- I highly recommend the pomegranate stew! The flavors of everything I had were exquisite. I can't wait to go back and try new items; she has something for everyone here (vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters alike)

Wow. I like small kitchens but this place is amazing. I am not a vegan but the food here is some of the best around. My meal was cooked to perfection and its that kind of food that just makes you feel good and full of flavor also.

Highly overpriced! $22.50 for rice and a sauce and then around $3 if paying by card… sure the owner is really nice…but this is unreasonable pricing for take out at lunch.

The best vegetarian food I’ve had in a very long time. So incredibly flavorful and delicious. I bought the herb stew and rice from the owner/chef at the chapel hill farmers market and can’t wait to try more entrees from the storefront.

Tiny little place that left a big delicious memory. I feel as though I was transported around the world to a Persian marketplace. Authentic and delightful food and owner. Plan to eat on the patio.

I ordered one lamb shank and side of a bean rice for $52. No server brings the food, food quality is very poor, nothing was fresh, food was so old that smelled. stuffy and filthy place, very dirty. plastic set and you bring your food to the table yet they dare to charge like a 5 star steakhouse. Overall order was $84. I just want the owner knows, just because we were visitors doesn’t mean she has to charge us triple of what a good restaurant in San Francisco charges. Shame
