It's a small town library that looks like it was built in the 70's. I used to Come in as a kid (like 10 years old) it still looks the same, nostalgic. Even their staff is the same, except for the gray hair coming in. Few people were there so no distractions. Staff was helpful. The place could use some renovations. Government bureaucracy I guess.

Good place to check out books.. If you need copies of something black and white copies 50 cents & color copies $1. Nice friendly and clean.. They have computers you can use there.

I went to this and had a great experience all the librarian's we're nice and very helpful when I needed it the internet was very fast and it has a very broad section of books it's nice and quiet it's all together a great library I hope anyone and everyone who goes to the la marque public library has just as much or a even greater experience than I did. I love it there it gives me a place to go when I need to leave and I love there book wolf only ask if they can get more books and monga on the gay side but other than that I frequently go there I suggest this place to everyone I promise you'll have a good time and have loads of fun

Our first visit today. every one was very nice and welcoming and they have some cool clubs for kids. I wish they let you check out more books, but maybe they have been burned in the past. But so far my kids like it so, we will be frequenting this library often.

Before I went to the Lamarque public library, i went by the Texas City public library and i told them that i had some copies to be made and lady told that i make my own copies, so i went to Lamarque's library and the guy behind the counter made copies for me and before I left, I gave him three times the cost, but he said that he couldn't accept a tip, I gave it anyway and I felt good about it

The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The facility is always clean and welcoming. The inventory is always organized. No complaints.
