The communication before we arrived was helpful, with local restaurants they recommended and other suggestions. Our arrival was personalized and the property was explained well. We were given a taste of one of their wines. They helped us arrange a taxi into town because of rainy weather. Other trips into town we walked. This location is walkable to town, but about the furthest I'd want to be from Pinhao without a car. We booked the two twin room, it was spacious with good hanging space. The bathroom is small but not too small, very functional. We enjoyed the outside patio with some local Port. We had an early departure and they made us a to-go breakfast bag - so very considerate. Our room held humidity, a humidifier would be helpful. It wasn't horrible, just worth noting. Breakfast was true continental style, good for a light breakfast but if you are a hearty eater you will be hungry soon. But a good way to start the day and it was included in our rate.

Very clean spacious modern rooms and building in typical traditional style. Quiet location with great views of vineyards and River. Short walking distance from centre and restaurants/ shops. Great walks / tour throughout the owners vineyards. Great for photography. Very warm, friendly and professional hosts. Good breakfast included.

Very friendly service, good wine and a fantastic room. We especially liked the chairs outside! We would have loved to stay a day longer but it was all booked out. Thanks a lot!

Great stay at a clean and comfortable place. Service and welcome was fantastic, with a basic but useful breakfast provided each morning. Great location to wander into town or go explore the Douro valley from.

The place has a very beautiful view and the staff are so nice! We really recommend the tour in their wine yard. We got a good and personal welcome where they explained about their wine yard and the area. They are really helpful regarding any local or other “must see” things in the area. The room was nice and big.

More of a 4* operation than a 5* one. Modern building, a little faded in places. Comfortable enough. Result, quite impersonal. Little old lady appears from time to time; other than that, no staff. Breakfast ok. Pool, up a very rough track in the middle of a vineyard a bit of a joke; great views, though. The trek up the hill from town, not as bad as some have said but it can be a busy road. Don't bother asking them to book a restaurant for you; they won't do it. Strict check-in not before 3. Great dog - Rocky.

Lovely guest house, we felt welcome and at home. Our room was very clean, very cozy and modern, we had a little terrace outside with the comfiest lounge chairs. Breakfast was complete. The location is close to Pinhao center but not the best to access by foot. Parking area is convenient.

Very cute rooms with a balcony overseeing the Douro River. Breakfast starts at 8. We didn't stay so can't comment on that. The owners are responsive, but not prompt. Ask all your questions with plenty of lag time.
