Unfortunately, the museum has just opened! No effort is made to maintain it. A large number of works are arranged without any order and almost everything is inside the museum!! Everything you can think of has been donated to the museum and placed in the museum without any explanation. From Saat and Aftabeh Lagan and... from Pahlavi and Qajar and.... none of which necessarily have anything to do with anthropology. There is no guidance and there is no written explanation. It is better to think about organizing it. Unlike this museum, the archaeological museum is very organized and I recommend visiting both of these museums.

Ardabil Museum of Anthropology is located in the place of Agha Naghi Bath or Zahirul Islam Bath, which belongs to the pre-Safawi period and the second half of the 7th century AH, and is considered one of the national monuments of Iran and Ardabil's sightseeing places. Agha Naghi bath was built by a person named "Zahir al-Islam" in the period of Ilkhani rulers, and during the two centuries since its construction, various parts were added to it. During the Qajar rule, this bath was bought by "Aqanghi Motman al-Raaya" and was renovated. In this museum, you can see a variety of sculptures with local clothing of the people of Ardabil and works and manuscripts of the history, culture and identity of this region of the country. Ardabil Museum of Anthropology is an ideal place to introduce the culture, manners, customs, way of life, clothes and food of Ardabil people along with the special rituals of this region.

Ardabil Anthropology Museum is a museum in Ardabil, Iran. The building of the museum was originally a historical bath with the name of Zahir-al-Islam, belonging to the pre-Safavid period, about second half of the seventh century AH. Cultural Heritage Organization of Iran changed it to the Museum of Anthropology in 1999.The museum is near to the Sheikh Safi mausoleum.
