It's a great place for most folks and most folks here are older or folks with families so it's a chill place with not a lot of pressure on looks ha. Three main drawbacks: 1. The pool is sometimes full and it can be difficult at times to get a lane, it's a 4 lane pool and some folks choose to exercise in the lap pool so it can be a crapshoot sometimes. 2. There's gangs of rampant kids that run around the gym with no adult company. This can be somewhat weird because these gangs of kids come from nowhere and don't respect the general clean and chill vibe of the gym so that adds some excitement I guess but it's mostly an annoyance. 3. Sometimes the rampant kids do shenanigans, like leaving their electric scooter in the locker room. Don't even try and do something about it, the staff thought it funny. So yeah, shenanigans from rampant kids. Other than that it's a great place for most folks and a place that is very inclusive, come work out here!

If you are serious about your health and fitness, do not go there. Women staff are in charge and harass men they don't like. The trainers are obese and non inspirational. If they want you out of there they raise your membership fees. They find fault with you, but say nothing to women and children who run rampant without supervision.

This place is very amazing they have excellent facilities like a gym, sports court, and a pool but the reason I rate it 3 stars is because of some of the staff members ☹. All the staff and the reception are very friendly and caring except some of the life guards. When I went to the hot tub one of the life guards was persumptuous enough to tell me my age and kicked me out of the hot tub. I have been using the hot tub for a whole month and the life guard had seen me countless times using it, but because more kids than usual got in the hot tub he for the first time told me I'm not old enough and kicked me out even though I was at the age required and told him to check my ID. I'm very disappointed about how the life guard operates 😞and I hope this issue gets addressed. I don't want this happening to more people because a nice pool with life guards like that is not enjoyable!!!

Paid a higher non-member fee for our child to join swim practice for the swim team. Later learned that a membership (at a cost of $89 per month for one adult and one child) would be necessary to join the swim team. We are satisfied with our current gym membership and have no need for two. Had we known that non-members are not allowed to join the team, we would have spent the time and money elsewhere. The JCC should be more transparent regarding their policies.

The exclusive membership at JCC solely offers full use of the facility and unfortunately does not yet offer a much needed Pool Pass for those who simply wish to swim or do aquatic exercise. Amy tried to accommodate our family group of three to shoe-horn the “application” fee plus “membership” fee into an affordable solution. As JCC does not offer an a la carte menu with tiered pricing for locals, it does not serve nor can not serve the community as a whole. A punch pass for the aquatic center would be an easy, popular and affordable option. Policing, to ensure pool members did not overstep their access, (by using the other fitness rooms), would not become a major issue as feared. Initiating a temporary pool pass program to see what the true concerns might be, might be the way to go, especially in current climes when we need more affordable family options for exercise. Thank you to the powers that be for this consideration and I hope to see a Pool Pass in JCC’s future.

The folks at the J are always nice and friendly. The facilities have been newly renovated and there are many classes if you like spinning and the such. There are pick up basketball games in the gym and the guys will help you get your hoop on.

The staff at front desk and fitness center are always helpful. Staff learns people's names. Gym is excellent. Pool sçhedule has been tricky during COVID but that is understandable.

Amazing, wonderful facility, staff and members. My family have been members for years and our six year old twins love the pool, day care, gym, and other activities. My wife and I enjoy the exercise room, saunas, other families, and programming. Highly recommended, and especially to families with children.

Fabulous space! We sent our kids to the early childhood program and loved how swimming and community values were woven throughout. Love the pool for lap swimming and for family swim time. I have enjoyed a variety of classes and performances as well.
