We had a great breakfast at 7 am because of the jet lag. I got Granola and a standard veggie sandwich. They even prepared a custom fruit salad that is not on the menu for the kids. The coffee was great, too. Thank you for this warm welcome to California! 😍

Normally the food is good, but as of late the cook at this location acts like he doesn’t want to work. I ordered the old soul chorizo scramble. Not only was it cold upon arrival, it was In a Togo box when I ordered it. When I asked the young lady if I ordered it Togo she didn’t even know. The bread had no butter. No seasoning on the potatoes. And the eggs were burnt. If you don’t wanna come to work my guy just say that. But you ain’t gotta take it out on my food. Then instead of making something new the cook through the contents on a plate and just reserved it. The plate sat there for 2 hours while multiple employees walked by it. It was clear I was not eating this food. Not only that, the food was not prepared well. Large chucks of uncooked or unbroken down meat. No vegetables. This isn’t the first time. I only gave an extra star for the young lady who works at night typically. She goes out of her way.

Was looking for a new coffee place, found this one. Had a dirty chai and a blueberry cinnamon scone which were delicious. It was a Sunday at 0800 so maybe we haven’t had our coffee yet, but it wasn’t welcoming. I love the old soul merch they had. They also have a nice outdoor seating where I listened to some pretty racist elderly men talk about politics. Out of familiarity I’d go again otherwise I’d find somewhere else that has a better vibe, unfortunately. Update*** I’m all about compostable items but this cup started to turn before I got half way through, coffee spilled and lid would not go back on. It was also as hot as the surface of the sun so the moon maybe that accelerated the composting aspect. Also decided I wasn’t a fan of the drink and went elsewhere.

Cute and cozy little cafe with pretty good coffee. Customer service was good. The only bummer was finding off street parking, which was a bit of a challenge. Other than that It’s a great spot to sip a cup of joe.

Old Soul - I love the name ❤️ Great place to have delicious breakfast and coffee. They have a nice patio, WiFi and great service. I was really impressed how fast the food was served.

Drinks are very pricey so not an everyday cafe. They are good though. I am however in love with the atmosphere. So calming and cozy. Perfect for foggy November evenings.

Great spot for great salmon salad and beer and wine. Not to mention Art on display, mine included :-) nice atmosphere as well

Place has character. Presentation look great, cost is decent, taste a bit of a so so. I got the TBA, I couldn't taste the bacon, the spicy dressing was a bit overwhelming on the sandwich.

Came here during my break at work and knew I had to stop here after my previous experience at the Oak Park location. My Mocha was prepared quickly and tasted amazing. One of the best coffee shops in Sacramento. 4.9/5.

I don't know how I've never been here! Great coffee and food looks delicious. Barista reccomended an iced pistachio milk latte and it was amazing 😍 perfect ambiance for studying, working, or having a chat with friends.

Beautiful location, especially the well-shaded outdoor patio surrounded by ivy-covered brick walls, complete with a decorative fountain. The iced mocha was rich and delicious 👌🏻 I was only in town for a couple of days, but I enjoyed it so much I went twice!

I had the biscuits and gravy platter, which at $14 came with two eggs to order and bacon. It was not only delicious, but one of the best deals I've seen in California. The latte was also great and the staff were very friendly. Five stars all the way.

Very cozy cafe! Student friendly atmosphere. Plenty of outlets available. They also have provided books and board games on their shelf. If your looking for a small snack this is the place. They also serve wine, beer, and ciders. Stopped by to grab some lunch, but the atmosphere was just right. I decided to spend a bit more time while I did some studying. Thank you for going the extra mile and assisting me on getting a refill for me! I was too comfortable to get up. Saving it on my places to visit!

Good spot for coffee and breakfast. Decent variety of above average options. Indoor seating, patio seating, and sidewalk seating available. I've never felt rushed. Great spot to try if you've got a little time, and a good departure from the major chain places.

Cozy coffee shop experience. Decent selection of food and beverage options, good drinks and quality coffee, not a bad place to hang out and get some work done. Patio seating is a really huge benefit here, the courtyard the outside seating is on is very welcoming and lush, tucked away between a couple brick buildings with a fire pit in the middle and plants surrounding the perimeter. Very charming and definitely improves the coffee shop experience greatly.

Have been coming here for years. Basically got my degree here. It hurts to see the change over recent years. Old hires were gone, new hires seem to care less about quality. The cafe style is relaxed, but the spider webs are not. Outside area is beautiful, but imagine if it was clean. Would love to see this place taken better care of.
