The weather was great, and we had a nice time. The bridge has been restored. Clear paths with plenty of picnic benches/areas. It is state park, so there is a parking fee. But we'll worth it for how clean and well kept it is.

Beautiful hiking trails. One leads you right up to Englebright lake! They had gold mining for the kiddos and a small store. There is a lot of history to see. The covered bridge has been renovated. Plenty of swim spots through the area. Parking is $10, your time there is priceless. Beach area!!! Water is always a tad cold but manageable. Make sure you have your phone charged for the endless photo opps. Benches are available but pack some chairs

Very pretty rebuild. Worth the drive. $5 for parking. Gift shop is nice, has some cool taxidermy. The wind blowing in from the river on the bridge's windows is refreshing.

Beautiful bridge with an amazing design and fascinating history. Glad we made the trip. The views of the bridge, the Yuba River and surrounding terrain were beautiful.

What a fun adventure! The bridge is really cool and the view from the windows on the bridge was really pretty! I had so much fun. The visitors center was closed so didn’t see that. The gas station was really cool. It is close access to the river. It’s very clean and there are lots of shaded areas, picnic tables, and the cleanest park bathrooms I have ever been in. It was a great experience.

This is the longest covered bridge in the USA and definitely the most beautiful both inside and out. It is located in South Yuba River State Park. It does cost $10 to park, or you can use the annual state park pass. You are allowed to pan for gold (no tools other than pan) in the river but there isn't much gold here.

Pretty neat bridge. For how old it is, it looks brand new! Liked the old shell station too. Unfortunately the river access was taped off. Also the gift shop was closed. At least the restrooms were open. Cost $5 to park.

A structural masterpiece and a historically significant site. It's truly an amazing site to see and the walk through this slice of history is worth the drive. Bring your picnic and explore the area for the day. Make sure the museum is open for the extra slice of history. Enjoy your day and the amazing sites.

One of the best river spots in the area. Multiple options for families and hikers who seek more solitude. Safe shallow water beaches for learning swimmers plus deep swimming holes for the more adept at river enjoyment.

The Bridgeport Covered Bridge is a beautiful historic bridge that was recently rebuilt. It is one of a kind and the largest covered bridge in the world. Well worth seeing and walking across and exploring the South Yuba State Park.

We visited Bridgeport Covered Bridge last summer. It's a gorgeous bridge! One of the few covered bridges left in California. Great place for a photo shoot!

Bridge is complete and beautifully done! The trail was open so hiked to the end. Moderate hike and great walk in and out. River was flowing fast and smooth. Beautiful colors, few flowers, descent trail.

Love this area since I was a child. Now I'm taking my family every year. The entire area is great. If you're wondering the ins and outs, advice. My only advice is this. After the pandemic, for some reason this place exploded. Every year before the pandemic there's locals, tourists... But not that many. There's a lot of people now, and parking.... PARKING is tough. You have the State Park lot, and the smaller lot closer to the bridge. Either way, if you want a good spot along river and parking space. Get there at 9am, no later than 10am. Or you'll be waiting for someone to leave. We have a state park pass. And today the Yuba GODS were with us. We pulled in at 10:50. ONE spot left. Awesome views, awesome trails nearby, refreshing water, fantastic SUMMER VIBES, there are life vests and bathrooms at the visitors center right behind the beach, up the hill, two minute walk. Just get there EARLY. Enjoy.
