Feickert Park

Tourist attraction Park

🫤 I grew up playing at this park after school and back then (2010) it was a great park but now it's falling apart and seems like Noone uses it anymore so tweakers decide to melt and distort the part which is really sad to me People often mention park,

Nice small neighborhood park, no amenities.

I took my 1 1/2 year old grandson and he had so much fun. They have a playground for the older kids and one for toddlers. It's especially nice because they're connected so no one feels left out

Great place for a picnic. Grab your food togo and a blanket sit and eat under the trees.

The park is pretty nice. Playground has a few good options for all ages. No toddler swings, but toddler slides. They have a sandbox, caution with cats using it as well. Decent mid size small field between the park and the elementary school. Working drinking fountain with benches to sit in shady areas facing the park.

Freickert park is huge and has a decent child's play area with swings, jungle gym equipment and drinking fountain. The park is safe with wide open spaces and no large shrubs that could conceil possible dangers or surprises. It is, however, very well shaded by towering evergreens. It is large enough to accommodate many visitors at once, yet has enough open area for everyone to stay a Covid - safe distance from others. This park is surrounded by beautiful 2-story homes and Freickert Elementary school. It has a real downhome, family-friendly feel to it. One of my favorite dog walking destinations.

It is a very nice park, the playground area needs a little bit of an update but for the most part it is still good enough for the kiddos to have fun. Lots of shade & places to walk around or just have a picnic.
