Easy walking around Derryadd Lake. We regularly walk around Derryadd Lake and then cross over into Peatlands Park. The boardwalks are well maintained and have been upgraded over the last couple of years. In summer lots of dragonflies can be seen on the boardwalks. There are around 20 car parking spaces if you park at the lake car park but be aware that there are no toilets or other amenities at the lake car park. Littering is rare but dog fouling on and and around the boardwalks verges is a regular unpleasant hazard near the car park.

Was a nice peaceful walk but we were constantly worried about getting lost as there wasnt much signage

This is a great lough walk, with loads of trees and the possibility of also exploring Peatland Park using the route markers..

Found a wee quiet spot to enjoy the sunshine with a picnic.
